Pleasantly surprised. Since moving down here been looking for some good Chinese food and we a little hesitant at first because the parking lot doesn't have a lot of cars often and that's usually a bad sign. In the case however i do not believe so at all. The take out service is relatively quick which is surprising for how many people were a head of me, waited maybe 10 minutes max at 5 in the evening on a Friday. Now let's talk food. As i stated i did take out because i live 15 minutes away and wanted to just go home and relax. Ordered the beef broccoli, pepper steak and onions, pork fried rice, and a pork egg roll. Ordered all smalls as it's just for myself, cost $22. I was shocked by the size though oh they'll be pretty small I'll be able to finish it all. Boy was i wrong. I have left overs. And even after the 15 minute drive home my food was still piping hot. Which is rare, if you know you know. The broccoli and beef and the peppers steak and onions. Ordering most places you don't expect the best beef you would expect it to be chewy. We'll i was shocked that most of it just falls apart in your mouth. Now yes there are a few where the meat was a little chewy but was still edible. The veggies still have a nice little crunch to them making it the perfect bite. The pork fried was was delightful. I never expect a lot of pork in the rice as i know pork prices can be a bit high but there's pork in every last bite you take. The pork fried egg roll has that perfect crunch. Would however loved it stuffed just a tad bit more. But was still great. Will definitely recommend to anyone who asks where to get read more

Great Chinese place, my wife and I have ordered several different plates from the lunch special menu and everything tasted great, I see some bad reviews about tasteless food, maybe somebody has a taste buds issues, but I guess everyone is different and likes different things, that doesn't mean is bad for everyone, it's only bad for the person trying it. Peking is a Warsaw classic by all means. I always take friends from out of town to Peking for a great lunch at a fantastically reasonable price. When these friends come back around, they request we drop by. Some of my favorites include the boneless spare ribs, shanghai noodles, and the dumplings. My family has eaten here for years, and they were a standby when my parents got off work late in the evenings. We tried several options to see what we would like for our next order. We will be ordering again because we did have some tasty dishes. However, the website/menu is not up to date. I tried to order Empress chicken, which is listed more than once on the menu but was told they didn't offer it. Other options (such as orange chicken) are listed more than once at different prices but the website doesn't explain the difference. Fried rice was ok but not a lot of flavor. OK. Since my review 4 years ago I've gotten addicted to this PEKING take out. If you time it right (try showing up a few minutes before they say when it will be ready) you can get it piping hot and fresh. The fresh out of the fryer crab rangoon is one of my reasons for being alive. Good standbys: Pork Fried rice Crab Rangoon General Tso's Chicken Combo Pretty good eggrolls if you get them super-fresh. I think they use some sort of addictive chemicals in their foods since I get fortnightly cravings for it. They must have stolen a secret or two from the Colonel with his wee beady eyes. read more

I've been going to Peking for years. YEARS. I used to work at a location right next door. I have never been disappointed in their food or their service. I have gotten and loved, General Tso, Cashew Chicken, Sweet & Sour chicken, all of the lo meins, all of the fried rices, eggrolls, orange beef, crab rangoons. Got 2 kinds of fried rice (pork and shrimp: both were neon yellow, mush, barely any meat and only had onion as the veggie), general tso's chicken (bland and chewy like jerky), Mongolian beef (also bland; no spice whatsoever, and strange blend of veggies), and shrimp with mixed veggies (ALSO very bland, all veggies were overcooked and barely any shrimp in it!). Egg rolls were also disappointing, an even the plain white rice was horribly overcooked. I get it, it isn't suppose to be gourmet, but can we at least utilize some seasonings in our food, please? It was inexpensive, but if I have to pay $5 more per entree to guarantee my plate won't be full of mush, that's a price I'm willing to pay. wow. Never had Chinese food make me crave a nasty McDonald's hamburger, but this place did. And I love Chinese food. I'm in from out of town, looked up nearby and followed someone else's recommendation. Sorry I did. Place had steady flow of locals while I waited. I guess they don't know good Chinese. I went with chowmain and kungpow chicken...typically safe, but damn. Chowmain was watery and chicken had giant chunks of carrots and no peppers. This is the go-to place for Chinese food in town. It's a walk-up counter with a few tables. Service is very friendly. Of course it is not the Chinese food you get in large cities, but it's pretty decent fare for a small town. Pretty standard menu for your typical Chinese take-out place. I have lived in Warsaw most of my life, and I have enjoyed the food from Peking on numerous occasions over the years. What I really like about this place is that I will frequently go in and find the staff sitting around a table preparing fresh vegetables from the market, which tells me that they DO put a lot of fresh ingredients into their recipes. That means a lot to me, and it shows in the final product. On top of that the owners are always very friendly and welcoming. A local favorite and one of my favorite Chinese restaurants. It isn't fancy or high quality by any means, but the food is cheap and tasty. My favorite way to end a stressful work week is their chicken and broccoli combo and a glass of whiskey.
