Reminiscing on the old interior, the patio. The place used to be the vibe- artistic, naturesque, airy, upscale. Why was it gray Walmart-ified? Thank you for offering steamed, no oil rice and vegan meal options.

Excellent food and fast, friendly service! It's so pretty in there. I enjoyed sitting by a window and seeing the view of the boats.

Hands-down the best maki rolls in Northern Indiana! We've tried just about every sushi spot in the region, but we always make the 40-minute drive to Cerulean, and it's worth every mile. I spiced things up by adding jalapeños to the koshou roll and - wow - it was next-level delicious. Easily my new all-time favorite sushi roll. My husband is hooked on the flying fish roll (his ride or die); and if you try it too, you'll get why. The rolls are beautifully crafted, generously filled, and bursting with flavor. Shoutout to Brooke, our amazing waitress! Her energy, warmth, and attentiveness made our visit extra special. She brought so much positivity to the table, and we left feeling genuinely cared for. And can we talk about the atmosphere? Sushi by the river was breathtaking. The restaurant is spotless with a fresh, vibrant, nautical vibe that made the whole experience even more memorable.

Cute place located on an inlet from Winona Lake in cute Winona Village. We ate indoors which was comfortable and clean. They also had a nice sized outdoor patio overlooking the inlet. Went here for lunch on a Friday. It was a little busy, but not bad. Employees that we encountered, host and waiter, were SUPER nice, but service is SLOW. Took quite a while to get our lunch considering it wasn't super busy. Our waitress checked in on us once right after our food arrived to see if everything was ok, but then didn't come back until the end of the meal to bring our bill. In the meantime, I had run out of water (the only thing I was drinking) and had to take my lunch partner's water. We both got Bento boxes. I got the scallop Bento box with edamame, Udon noodles, and brussels sprouts. The brussels sprouts were delicious. Very glad I ordered them. I was disappointed with the scallops, especially since adding them as my main made my Bento box one of the more expensive ones. That would have been fine had they been good. There were four scallops. They're very small. I was expecting bigger scallops. And they were very salty. I've never had over-salted scallops before. Overall, I enjoyed it and I would come back. I just wouldn't order scallops again.

Best spot in Warsaw. Clean, some damn good Midwest service, nothing fancy just kind and attentive. Recent renovation, menu is a nice little mix of sushi and sammies. I got the Korean gochujang grilled chicken sandwich and was pleasantly surprised that there was decent kimchi, and the sauce was not overly sweet! They nailed it. Sat out on their patio bc the weather was perfect, low 80s and sunny. Lovely walk afterwards past the lake and canal. Go!

Still a nice place to dine and hang out at the lake. Making a reservation is easy. The restaurant is clean, orderly and comfortable. Getting a reservation on a Friday and night is still difficult. The biggest downside to Cerulean is the skills of the waitresses. This has been a consistent issue over the years. They had plenty of staff to handle the large volume of customers. However our waitress seemed to miss a lot of the basics like forgetting to tell us about the specials, that sushi is a 45+ minute wait, not knowing the menu, not providing refills in a timely basis and not knowing what one of the five desserts were. The sushi is good. It's not very designer...just basic sushi. They tested fresh and were moderate in size. The rolls weren't stuffed with much filling. The white cheddar Mac & cheese was pretty good. It was very creamy. The sauce was thin and drained to the bottom. I liked it. The chocolate praline dessert was very good! The moose was smooth, light in texture and silky. It had a nice light chocolate taste with slight amounts of praline crunches.

Incredible Japanese fusion restaurant. The lunch service was friendly and accommodating. My food was well plated and filled with flavors. You will not be sorry with whatever you pick. The staff will take time to explain the menu but you'll be glad they did.

Cute restaurant. Nice indoor and patio area. Shops nearby are good to walk around. Service was good. Always get the bento box when here. Prices are pretty good for all the food you get as well.

This place is as good as it gets and is well worth the drive! M and I went here with some friends a few weeks back and OH. MY. GOODNESS!!! Located right off the canal of Winona Lake, this place has a great vibe and atmosphere. Our waitress was super sweet and knowledgeable about the menu. We started with drinks, I got a NA Beer (love that they have NA options) and M got a Tito's and Soda w/ Lime, both tasted great.

Update--posting the new menu since we couldn't find one before coming back! New renovation looks lovely and my friends and I had a lovely dinner tonight.

The sushi rolls are not tiny like you see at some sushi restaurants and all of the hibachi meals that I have ever gotten here have been more than enough for myself and I usually end up taking some home.

The coconut shrimp tasted homemade and the sauce was nice and savory. It's definitely more of a fun and tropical American style roll but delicious! We also got the Kiyomi fried rice. It has a lot of vegetables which was nice. I loved the zucchini and squash. It tasted like really good hibachi. The shrimp had great flavor too and the chicken was tender. My husband had two tuna sushi (nigiri) and thought it was decent. We can't remember the name of the role my husband got, but it had spicy tuna on top. He enjoyed it. We both could only eat about half of our rolls because they were so giant. This is the best restaurant in Syracuse I'd say and I was very pleasantly surprised. I wish I took a picture before eating most of the fried rice but I honestly wasn't expecting everything to be so good!

I was looking forward to trying this place after hearing so many good things from my coworkers. Unfortunately, my experience did not live up to the recommendations. I visited today during Tuesday lunch service when the restaurant wasn't busy. As a first-time customer, I had a few questions about the menu, but the cashier seemed annoyed whenever I asked and even rolled her eyes on occasions. At first, I thought she might just be having a rough day, but she was very friendly and talkative with the other staff members. The service continued to be disappointing throughout my visit, and at one point it felt like the two employees were talking about me in another language, which made me uncomfortable as a customer. The cashier and other lady looked over and at one point I was just wanting to leave. After mentioning my experience to coworkers, several told me they felt the service had declined since the middle of last year. The food was much better than the service. The hibachi was flavorful, generously portioned, and a great value for the price. The sushi seemed fresh, and I'd be interested in trying more of it in the future. The only issue was the brown soup. The mushrooms were dark brown and black in color and appeared old. Biting into them was unpleasant and made me question the freshness of that part of the meal. Overall, the food was good enough that I would consider returning, but I would likely order online rather than ordering to-go in person due to the poor customer service experience. It's unfortunate because the food has a lot of potential, but the service left such a negative impression that it overshadowed the rest of the visit.

Highly Recommended for Authentic Ramen!…read more I was looking for an authentic ramen place in town, and this spot came highly recommended--it did not disappoint! The Ramen: Truly authentic. You can tell by the broth, which tastes 100% homemade. It's not that MSG-heavy style that makes you want to drink a gallon of water afterward. I tried three different kinds, and all were outstanding. A standout was the cold noodle with a side of dipping soup--so interesting! You soak the noodles in the soup before eating. It might be a love-or-hate dish for some, but I found it unique . A Note: If you prefer a heavily seasoned, traditional American-style ramen (on the saltier side), this might differ from your expectation. Their flavors are more balanced and nuanced. Also Tried: The sushi was good--not outstanding, but reasonably priced with good portions and a fresh taste. Dessert Lovers, Listen Up! You must try the Fried Ice Cream. It made me feel like home! Hot, crispy, doughy outside with cold ice cream inside. So yummy!
