Sweet and sour chicken lunch special
Brandon J.

The good: As others have said the egg rolls are the best you will find. Same for the fried rice. Prices are reasonable with lunch specials each day. The bad: pretty much everything else.... At first glance you will notice the dull interior. After waiting to be seated the waitress looked up and said sit anywhere. She clearly did not want to be at work. Another reviews comment that "one of the waitress's looked like she was on drugs" is spot on. The restrooms are bad enough that multiple members of our party commented that there is no way it could be up to code. The regulars here are all elderly, and as a group of "outsiders" the entire experience was awkard at best. No refills on beverages. Food other than the egg rolls and rice was luke warm. The list goes on... Bottom line: If you are looking for the best egg rolls and fried rice in the area, get take out from here. Any other food choices have consistently underperformed and the entire dine in experience is just sketchy.

I love coming to this restaurant to have some good tasting Chinese food. It's a lot better than most Chinese restaurants in town. I tried their buffet occasionally for lunch and dinner. It was never a disappointment. The waitress lady is always friendly and caring. I took my daughter yesterday, & it was delicious! We both enjoyed our meals very much. The same waitress lady offered us warm dinner rolls with butter to go with our plates. So very thoughtful of her. Only took a pic of my plate. It was surprisingly delicious! Sweet and sour chicken, friend rice, egg roll and hot and sour soup. White chicken meat, soft and not chewy. Rice was really good and so is everything else. Still wish they will give more fried rice than just a small child size ice-cream scoop.

It's supposed to be hot mustard. There's a fresh one on another table that is yellow...the color it should be.

Service is good, but the food is way to salty, the rice is just not flavorful and bland.

Excellent food and great service. One of the best restaurants in Warsaw, and the best egg rolls around.

The egg rolls, sweet and sour sauce, and fried rice are as amazing as they were when the Wongs still had the restaurant.

Deciding to have lunch here in Warsaw, Indiana was a no brainer. When my local Warsaw friend and I…read morepast the area where Panda Express and Starbucks were next to each other, I knew I had to go there for lunch. Not only because I have the app, because it was budget friendly. After my friend dropped me off here, I decided to mobile order @ Panda Express while getting a drink at Starbucks. I know from previous experiences that it takes a while to get the order prepared. For a weird reason, I decided to order the Panda Bundle, but didn't noticed they assigned the drink as Coke. And so, when I entered and picked up my order, I noticed this black liquid in the cup. I thought I could just fill it at their self serve drink station. I asked what that was and explained to them I thought that it was supposed to be an empty cup versus one that was prefilled with Coke. The lady didn't want to argue, so she gave me a medium empty cup, so I could fill it with my drink of choice, which I try not to drink soda. It's been almost a year since my no soda pledge. So far so good. I ended up with 2 drinks to accompany my Panda Express meal. I usually do the basics of chao mien, unless they have chao fun at a particular location. Then orange chicken and beef broccoli are the staples I usually do. For this experience in Warsaw, Indiana, it was the beef broccoli, mushroom chicken, sauteed eggplant, with a bed of chao mein. The perfect combination of sweet and savory. It was definitely a slice from home since we have Panda Express in Honolulu. It was pretty cool to see Panda Express in NE Indiana of all places. The overall experience here at this Panda Express location here in Warsaw, Indiana was interesting and good. I came here around 11:30am and it was fairly empty with the lunch rush to slowly trickle in. I must have sat in the corner and dined in, since I saw a bunch of people walk in and ordered. I guess I was thankful that I did beat the rush. I was also thankful that this restaurant had restroom facilities and a self service drink station. I must have filled up my cup at least 3 times before fill up one for the road. The restaurant itself was clean and can probably sit up to 20 people at a time. Thankfully, it was fairly empty and I could get my own seat and eat privately while working on my phone. While this isn't the pinnacle of fine dining, its basically economical and good to have while traveling. I particularly enjoy the noodles for sure, but the other stuff is still good, but yet tolerable. It was nice that they didn't really safe guard the self service drink station as to limiting how much refills you can do in one dining experience. Thankful for that. As long as you behave yourself and act civil, I guess most people let you do what you want within reason. With that said, if you are in the area and love Chinese food, consider coming here to Panda Express for your daily fix. It was nice that Panda Express chose this location in Warsaw, Indiana. This Panda Express location is in Warsaw, Indiana. It's interesting how this Panda Express chose this particular location. It's physically located at 1170 Lake City Highway in Warsaw. They accept major credit cards as well as cash. For me though, I mobile ordered it, so it was quick and easy. As far as parking goes, there's a good amount of parking here, but best bet is to get here before the lunch or dinner rush comes through the area. Better yet, mobile order and quickly grab and go. If you feel like dining in, that's good too, especially with the unlimited refills on drinks. Not sure if Warsaw has its own public transportation system, but your best bet would be to have your own car or rent one. There's always Uber or Lyft to get you here, as well as those food delivery services too, if you can't make it out but want to enjoy what Panda Express has to offer. For myself though, I enjoyed the ambiance and the unlimited refills on drinks during my time here. It was a quick bite on a Sunday in April 2024 before heading off to South Bend for the rest of the day. If you love Chinese food and in the area, come on by. 4.0 stars for the overall experience. 5.0 stars for the unlimited drink station and the service. Thanks to the staff to understood my dilemma of the day. 3.5 stars for the prices. Support local! B

Me and my husband pulled up his food was fine I ordered beef and broccoli as one of my main entrees…read morein the broccoli was completely raw and uncooked I called twice and neither time anybody answered. Wasn't given total at window or in drive thru, just paid and went, forgot about 3 of the sauces I asked for but it was loud so I'll give her that. I'm quite disappointed.

My wife and I used to love this place. We started eating there during the ending of covid…read moresituations and the food was great. The egg rolls were amazing. Large and stuffed with veggies and fried crispy without being greasy....alas this has apparently changed. We went there today and got our usual orders (toss, and sweet and sour with yum yum sauce for my wife's rice) the egg rolls were tiny and very greasy with a very strong fish taste. The fried rice was bland and flavorless with next to no veggies, egg, or anything. My general tsos despite the sauce being a decent flavor was dry and stringy, and just this side of inedible. Was definitely not worth 30 freaking bucks. How the mighty ninja has fallen

I've visited Ninja Express twice now. We were the only customers inside both times, but it may have…read morebeen due to the time of day. We were promptly waited on by friendly staff who brought our food to our table. The restaurant has a nicely sized menu and will even make things and not listed. Their peanut avocado rolls are good as well as the avocado asparagus rolls they made for me that weren't a listed option. The more affordable avocado rolls are my favorite rolls. Their miso soup is good, but my absolute favorite is the vegetable tempura here. The sweet potato, broccoli, mushroom, onion, and peppers? are all good, but I could make a meal out of nothing but an entire tray of the zucchini. The person I dined with has gotten a salmon bento box both times. Cold bottled drinks are available in a cooler. I'm not sure if their fountain drinks are in working order but was told their fountain water didn't taste good at all. They also do not have any ice. Halloween spider webs complete with fake spiders are still hanging in May, and the tables and glass doors could use a bit more cleaning. If you dine in, your food is still usually in semi to go fashion but on a tray. I've been able to request containers and a bag as well as chopsticks. Being in an old former fast food building with a few flaws including a handwritten sign on the blank drive thru menu, it's nothing fancy and probably not where I'd go for a special occasion. However, the food is really good, and the prices are reasonable, so it fills the need for Japanese food in an area where there are few dining options. I believe they also have Chinese food on the menu and that the people here are from China. Dine in and take out are both available. You can even opt for pickup at the drive thru window. I'm assuming you would call ahead for that. There is some seating outside on the front patio. I am particularly fond of the booths where I can view the mostly red wall mural containing many cats in the artwork. Despite being somewhat of a hole in the wall, the food does meet or exceed what I have had elsewhere. It's fast yet made with care. It's a great option for vegetarians and vegans - something not easily found around here. I'm sure I'll return when I'm in Wabash and need an avocado roll and tempura fix.
