Honestly this review is WAY over due. Lets start with the fact that I just needed my A.C. fixed (it is advertised that they fix A.C.s when you call); but ended up with consistent issues since... 2 years later. They broke my aluminum hose for the compressor, said I did it, and after I constantly went back (my fault ik) for the same issues that were under warranty they said they no longer felt comfortable servicing my vehicle. Come to find out here recently.. after series of issues, the new compressor I asked for is actually refurbished and wasn't even mounted correctly and caused a few more thousand dollars in repairs. (Like hand tightened bolts or even missing ones.) Now you could say someone else could have messed with the compressor since then... sadly I do not go to the mechanic enough for that to be possible. :) read more

Took a lawnmower tire here to fix a puncture. They don't plug, only patch. However, it looks like they plugged it (maybe they did both). The staff was nice and the facility was clean. Took about 45 minutes to fix, website states 15 minutes. I thought the price for the patch was kind of high, $25. I think I'll stick with tire works which is also in Saraland (at least for tires). I believe I've paid $10 there, and I know they have done it free for me there too. That's all I can say at this point because that's the only service I have done (tire patch). They did say that it would cost $125 for an oil change on a GMC Sierra 1500. I think that may be a little high too, but I didn't ask what all they do on an oil change. read more

We are from out of town heading back home and our tire was going flat so we go there and they get us right in. The guys there where so nice and come to fine out it was not our tire it was our rim so they put our spare tire on for us and we asked him much we owe y'all they said nothing have a good day. I've used this company more than once well on today January 25, 2025 I went there for a tire repair. After waiting over 2 hours, I was informed that they broke my wheel key. Instead of offering to replace it, they suggested to remove all the locks off each wheel. I was told there was no need for the wheel lock on my tires. Unacceptable. If it weren't necessary, they wouldn't be there. I would like for this company to replace my locks and wheel key. All in all I was there for 3 hours for a simple tire repair and left with no wheel locks. I'll NEVER use this company again. They are horrible. I knew my truck was in need of an alignment and I had heard good things about Pelc. I decided to check it out for myself and I am so glad that I did! They were transparent every step of the way. They showed me the wear on my tires from waiting too long on the alignment. They recommended that I go ahead and replace the tires due to the condition, but I opted to wait a little longer. They respected my decision and rotated my tires for me. They were very informative and honest. I'll be sure to recommend them to friends and family. read more

I really just end up with another problem every time I leave here. The employees have such great attitudes, they're so kind, but I don't know what is going on in their garage. I use to take my car here for service but then came to find out that my car oil was so nasty that it looked like it hardly had been changed (I routinely changed it). After that and all the issues with my engine that caused, I only went there if I had to or for tires. Their tire protection/warranty is really nice. However the past two times I've gone in, I have left with more problems. One time was to check for a wobbly wheel. Got my car back and all my brake lights on my dash were on. Took it to Dad's Auto and they explained exactly what happened and why. Turns out, they had put my car up to check the wheels but ran my car while doing so which triggered all the brake lights, which is apparently not the proper way to do it. Our most recent time, and likely our last, was because we had no other options. My tire went completely flat while in the Publix parking lot. My rim was popped out and everything. My husband managed to pop in back in place and with the amount of air I was losing from the hole, pelc was the closet place with the hope for the least amount of damage to my tire/rim. Had my tire replaced (because they just couldn't patch it, even though it was totally doable but I had to just have it done there because I couldn't have made it to another tire shop.) Mid way through having my tire replaced, one of the men came and informed me that one of my sensors was out. One of my sensors in my tires was already broken - totally fine, but he said a different one was out. I declined having them fixed, knowing three of them were perfectly fine before giving them my car. When I got my car back, all four of them were just all the sudden not working. Extremely bizarre to me. Like I said, I don't know what is going on in their garage, but it's something fishy and we likely won't be returning again. read more
