I'm only giving it four stores because as first-time cigar buyer, I wish I was given a little breakdown of the choices and suggestions on other items I might need. When I got home and started watching youtube videos, I quickly realized I probably should have gotten myself a cigar cutter and perhaps a mini blow torch lighter. As I kept on going down the cigar rabbit hole on youtube, I learned how to peel off the cigar cap and also how to give it a sufficient light with a simple bic-type lighter. I then found myself watching hilarious videos of the great Arnold Schwarzenegger smoking cigars and talking about them. I know cigars are bad for you but I bought two, one for me and one for my best friend. We both shared them over an ice cold glass of Whiskey and felt like proper kings... until we both got dizzy. The domino tiles were being smacked down on the tables inside and one should not venture over there unless you got real game. The expansive back patio was open and many folks opted for the well lit cool pre summer night air. The salsa, merengue, and bachata were pumping; flat screens showed a game the Yankees saved by a run; and the place was lit. This was a regular night, relaxed and easy, service with a smile, just what the doctor ordered for busy New Yorkers on their grind. That's the nature of Moises. There are so many great nights up there. They celebrate birthdays. Sometimes they mark the beginning or end of summer with catered and grilled food, which happens for summer birthdays. Sometimes someone is promoting their cigars, hats and spirits. About once a month or so, they will have someone perform there. If it's a particularly important fight night or playoff game or any other major sports championship, it's going to be something happening. Next thing you know, the sun is rising. Given I am not as young as I used to be and given my work schedule and responsibilities, I do not permit myself to stray from a disciplined and process oriented approach to everything..., except Moises.
