Our kids are still too afraid of the big slides at water parks, but like the smaller scale slides, so this was perfect for us (and much cheaper)! We just went for an afternoon, and all of the kiddos enjoyed it. They have typical concession stand food and snow cones as well. We will likely be back next time we're in the area!

Pelican Bay is a fun small water park to go to for a day. It's super affordable at only $6 a person. There are a ton of options for entertainment for the kids. My kids who are 9, 7 & 5 all had a blast. The park includes a small lazy river, whirpool, small toddler play area with zero entry, splash pad, larger deep pool, rock climbing wall, diving boards and some extra big slides. My kids were entertained for hours. There are life guards on duty and they do take a 10 or 15 minute break every hour so everyone has to get out of the pool. Not super convenient but it gave me a chance to make my kids drink some water and re apply sunscreen if needed. The facilities are older and could probably be cleaned better but it was fine, I didn't feel like it was super dirty or unkempt. I'm guessing because of covid the concession stand is running a super limited offering and you can only pay with card. I highly recommend bringing snacks, drinks, lunch. Which you are allowed to do. We will probably go several times throughout the summer because it's a great escape from just a normal neighborhood pool and it's totally affordable.

Super small place and not fun at all. Lifeguards are mad cringe and acting a fool. Place is gross and trash all over and we found a finger nail. I do not recommend taking your kids here ever. Please find another spot.

My 3 y/o loves this place! It's $7 for adults and $5 for kiddos. Great place to cool off for little and big kids alike. My preschooler loves the playground and and the lazy river. There are ample supply of life jackets for free. Ya they are a little strict with their rules about outside food/drink, wearing life jackets, etc. but cmon what do you expect from a small water park in the middle of Edmond!? It's so dang convenient! There's no massive crowds to fight. Plenty of chairs available. There are lots of lifeguards on duty. I sure wish the splash pad was working... I wonder if it's ever worked? Locker rooms leave much to be desired. We spent a super fun afternoon here and I'm sure we'll come back.

Went here today for the first time ever for a birthday party. Upon arriving we walked into the cabana which my friend paid over 200.00 to rent for a 1 hour party. The floor was disgusting with sticky liquid on it and trash everywhere. It also had 3 other families that stayed in it for the first 30 minutes of the party. It took 25 minutes to get the drinks and very burnt pizza out to us. Unlike what the website said about getting ice cream with the party they brought out popsicles. To which even the kids said dont go with cake. We have never been there before and I told them at the front that my young son could not swim and they put a bracelet on him. Me thinking it was for the party let them. Not knowing it was for him to go on the big slide. He goes up it and they REMOVE HIS LIFE VEST... My son then told them that he could not swim and they still sent him down the slide.... We spoke to a manager. She said she has no power there and cannot return any money for the party and for us to speak to the general manager. After waiting 45 minutes for her to finally show up she comes and and says its ran by teenagers what did you expect. And she refused to make anything right. Never going back!

It's guard-gated so when you pull up, you immediately get that "oh wow" feeling that intensifies when you walk through the front door of the clubhouse. Inside, more wide open space is the atrium with a rough hewn, raw/polished huge wood slab table for you to relax at while you wait for...whatever you like. Keep advancing through and you find yourself in the spacious lounge that has small tables within, sparkly chandeliers that are freeform sculptures with mini lights at the tips and beyond, an enormous mass of glass looking out over the new terrace. In this space you'll find more of the luxe furnishings; another huge wood slab table for sipping a beverage at, and sumptious stuffed leather chairs for relaxing. The terrace will be a wonderful place to have relaxing dinners or elegant receptions and events. It overlooks the course and is both peaceful and inviting. The staff, led by the most gracious general manager you'll ever meet, is warm and welcoming. These folks are so happy to be here and it shows in their attitude. Just upon arriving, you're greeted like long lost family; none of this stuffy old-style country club attitude here. My fifth star will be awarded once I've tried the new menu. Until then, join me at the club!

Pros: Steam room. Pool. Cons: Steam room that is never on!…read morePool that has 3 lanes which is usually full. There are also the annoying people who even with signed posted ignore them and take buckets of water to pour into an electric dry sauna. Seriously people, you are what's wrong in the world lol Staff is usually nice but often they can't really help what needs to be fixed at a management level. Management is often non responsive but I did get the attention of one person who one staff member explicitly decided that he couldn't stand and was a total b^*%#. When you have staff stating these things to customers, that is NEVER good. In any business. I was a member from October to July and I went an average of 4x a week. Maybe one of those times did I actually enjoy my steam room experience which is the ONLY reason I signed up. It either smelled of dirty feet, had black mold around tiles, or was just OFF. Now it's true I arrive about 11pm and stay till about 1:3am but that shouldn't mean I don't get to use what I pay for! They say they ha e no control over it blah blah blah etc. but I have lived in a complex which had a sauna and steam room and you could turn it on and off and everyone used it did just that. Gold's needs to adopt this because everyone I spoke to hated their steam room and most of those people were long time members who signed up for that reason alone. The sauna is always HOT and dry as it should be, but the idiots who bring food in there to have picnics there with random girls they are attempting to date is just gross. Take that crap elsewhere. This isn't some hippy retreat. It's a gym. People don't want to watch you woo some girl with pita wraps and drinks by the hot tub or in the sauna. *gag* Some of their equipment is outdated and some is brand new. That mixture isn't a good thing. The pieces that NEED replacing, do not get replaced. And the ones that are new, few people use them. If you want to just do squats and weights, they got you. If you want to shed a few pounds during 6am-6pm on some cardio class or Zumba, they got you. If you want to do a real circuit and use a lot of the standard stuff and have staff who can actually help you...that is hit or miss at this location. I also will note their roof is trash and needs replacing or fixing. Whoever thinks it's cool to have buckets all over a gym floor and in the women's bathroom - you sir/madam are a moron. The bathroom is usually serviced and is only done so by a male attendant. He's nice and chatty and I don't have any issues with him or that, but when he was on vacation it went to hell. Paper rolls were on the floor. Their was no soap in dispensers, you name it. It happened. So please Gold's gym do yourself a favor and keep that older guy on. Do not outsource to some random company or think it's okay for you to not service the bathroom when that one guy and his wife (who apparently cleans the men's restroom which to me is odd. Why not have her clean the ladies and her husband clean the men's?!) or kid are on vacation. Cause it's not. It's gross how that gym got in a 3 day period. I ended my two year contract because while I was told that I could use the gym membership I got at any Gold's gym, I was unaware due to their issues with the LGBT community in San Francisco, that they pulled every Gold's gym out of that area. So because that is where I live part of the year and was headed back, I canceled my membership. I had no issues with doing so. I wasn't overcharged or billed for the remaining portion of my unused membership etc. it was pretty easy actually and the online support I received was 3/5 stars. About the same as this facility. My only one real irritation was that I recently called as instructed to, and asked if I could get a two week pass as I'm going to be in town and need to stay active in the gym for medical reasons. I was told I could but it would be $55 which was damn near the cost of my one month membership WITH an add on! They told me a free pass is only available to those who have never been a member (LOL way to win back someone who was a paying customer), and that the daily rate was something like $19 and after 5 days it was $50 or the cost of a month. That is about the most moronic thing I have ever heard from a staff member at a gym. And I've heard a lot. Moving forward, I will not be doing anything aside a month-to-month with any gyms until I get a sense of what they care about and offer. This process was more of a headache than I had ever expected it to be. I wanted to give them a fair shake though, which is why I have like 35+ check-ins but never reviewed them.

TLDR: we're hooked!…read more Swim up over here and let me tell you a little story. Maybe you've been to some other indoor swim schools... so have I. And I thought those were great... but that was before I'd been to Goldfish. My little tadpoles are finally in formal lessons, and we are so excited to get to start here. There is so much focus on safety, which is like 90% of what I care about in a swim situation. Small classes (just a few kids per instructor) and then a lifeguard standing sentry right at the end of the lane. Other supervisors were also nearby, and it was very easy to see where the money goes: the facility is state of the art and spotless, and there was so much staff both in and out of the water. My kids loved it and didn't want to leave, but they've even thought of that, with a fun little prize to take when you leave if you're cool about it. Add in family swim night, and I think this is a place we'll spend a lot of time and money, and feel mighty good about it.

Now that she is 3 she doesn't seem to mind water at all. The type of instructions was very similiar to the ymca. The main difference I notice is in the instructors. One instructor is very good, gives you a report of how well she did and what she needs to work on. Another just nodded their head when I asked for feedback. I'm also taking my 2 year son to the mini 2 parent n me class. He is really struggling. Crying the entire time, very upset and difficult to participate in class. The instructor just carries on like she's just following the cue card she holds in her hand. She doesn't give any advice or suggestions on how to make him feel more comfortable in the water. It's a very stressful experience for both of us. At the ymca the instructors worked really hard to get my daughter comfortable in the water and provided lots of feedback on correct swimming technique. After these 30 days ( which is required at sign up) we won't be back.
