First time members get 20% off the cafe, a 50$ spa credit and four free weeks of swim lessons for kids. My biggest hang up on committing to a gym was lack of child care but you can have them watch your kids for 2.5 hours per day if the kids have membership and if your kid is over five you can sign them up for weekly parents night out. We pay 40$ per child and it's way worth it! Overall, I love how they have hot room for classes and a clean locker room with dry and wet sauna and a hot water area in each genders bathroom! read more

I lost a headphones case and after looking in their lost and found box and looking all upstairs I came back down and the staff working at the desk looked genuinely upset that I was coming back and disturbing their conversation. Not to mention I called a week ahead asking for them to please look for it as my car had caught a flat sitting in THEIR parking lot. No staff lifted a finger to help they just looked and talked to me like I took their family every time I interrupted their conversation at the desk. Well, I was supposed to report back 3 years ago, but completely forgot! So, I haven't reused the showers however, the sinks in the ladies locker area have very low water pressure. I'm assuming this is purposeful to you know.. save water, or save on their water bill. I joined 3 years ago before they even opened. We are "founding members" and have really enjoyed this gym entirely from group fitness classes to the weights area, cafe, tennis, kids academy, and steam room. This really is the best gym in Oklahoma. We put our membership on hold and paid the $15 monthly to keep our membership inactive for a little over a year due to Covid. When we recently reactivated last month October 2021 after going for two years straight and then not going for an entire year, but still paying the $15 fee monthly we were charged a reactivation fee of about $11, another $15, and they reactivated their stupid magazine subscription I asked to take off after the first year we joined, because we had no idea we were getting charged extra when we weren't receiving anything. So, if you ever put your account on hold be prepared to pay some extra fees plus, a subscription to their magazine added onto your account again if you deactivated it in the past. I had the person at the person desk take the subscription off again for the second time now. That's one con of Life Time, they penny nickel dime and quarter you for everything. They even charge to use the outdoor pool area now when it used to be a part of our membership. We should be grandfathered in due to the fact we NEVER canceled our membership, but I'm still unclear since we reactivated in October when the pool was already closed. Also dues are going up by $10 next month in December if you're not a founding member. There are less classes to take now, due to Covid, and less instructors. But, you still have a variety where it's worth the cost if you go often. Also, the instructors are the best of the best. My favorites who teach currently are Candace, Katie, and Thor. Our family honestly loves Life Time, and at the moment the high price is worth it to us. read more

Is this the best gym in the world? It's at least by far the best gym in this neck of the woods. They have tons of different pools, hot tubs, cafes, bars, saunas, child care, spas, chiropractors, everything you could possibly ever want. They even have a hair and nail salon! This gym really has something for everyone. They have a whole wing of the gym dedicated to tennis. As if that wasn't enough, they also have giant dressing rooms equipped with everything you could ever need. There are private wet and dry saunas in each restroom, including private hot tubs. Oh yeah - and they have a full schedule of really good classes. Hot yoga, Pilates, Spinning... EVERYTHING. I think by now you get the hint: this place has has it all and then some. This is the perfect gym if you have littles. There are a bunch of activities available for them while you work out. They have a ton of wonderful kids programming - even interesting things like cheerleading, yoga, and Spanish classes. There is also an inside jungle gym and play area. The cafe is really good for working if you want to exercise and then sit in the cafe and work while your kids are still in childcare. Overall, it's a bit expensive, but it is so worth every penny. What a lovely facility. First off I was on the fence about joining because many complain about the cost. But, YOU DEFINITELY GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! So many great amenities for adults and even your little ones. I don't have young children but I have walked past the kids area and it looks quite fun for them. When I first came here I was greeted by two very sweet and beautiful young ladies (Lauren and Breanne). They seem to honestly enjoy their jobs and have a very easy and lighthearted way of communicating with members. I signed up online so I was promptly and quickly assisted with doing a signature and photo for my membership and they set up a tour for me. Although my time checking in is very brief, I am always greeted with a genuine smile, they make time to help if I have any questions and seem knowledgeable about all aspects of the gym. My tour ended up being with a very personable and humorous young gentleman that made me feel so welcome. Because the trainers were with other members, Zach took on the responsibility of showing me around and he did a great job of it. Since then have taken yoga, cycling, gtx and a few more. Wonderful trainers that are easy to work with and know how to push your limits! I always feel amazing after my classes. The fitness floor has to lot to offer also with someone always around to assist. The women's locker room has the sauna and steam room and it's own jacuzzi so you don't have to always use the common one by the pool. It's a nice little oasis. Now the cafe. Oh boy I love their cafe. After my workouts I get a delicious almond butter protein shake or one of their bowls. And it's always so good. There's even a Life Time spa! I have yet to have anything done but it looks like they do everything and it's a very nice. I am very happy with my decision joining this, what I have learned they call it, Country Club. I recently joined Lifetime Fitness but canceled within a week. Overall, it was a decent experience but there were a few issues that ultimately made me decide to go with a different gym. Good things: Keith at the front desk was a standout employee who was super helpful and went above and beyond to help me cancel my membership and even found my daughter's lost stuffed animal in the kidcare area. My daughters swim instructor was excellent! I'm bummed she won't be continuing lessons with her. Some of the staff members were great, especially Brandon, the trainer with Alpha, who taught me some new lifting techniques and Candace, who led an amazing SHRED class with lots of energy. The facilities were also really nice and had a lot of equipment to choose from. However, I did notice that the gym seemed more focused on families and classes rather than people who prefer to just lift weights. During the Alpha class, for example, it seemed like the rack was reserved for the class, which could be challenging for people wanting to lift. Ultimately a few things led me to go with another option. First, the family locker room made me feel uncomfortable. I saw multiple men without children walking through the area while I was showering and dressing myself and my two small children. It seems that we're using it to cut through the pool or men's locker room to the adjacent hallway as they didn't actually use the area. I think the area should be limited to adults with children, not single adults. Secondly, I was disappointed with the experience with Kid Academy. I joined mainly for what seemed like great kid programming, but both times I signed up my daughter for classes, she didn't end up going and was upset about missing. I don't know if it was a communication issue between my daughter and the staff or if there was a bigger problem, but what was most concerning was that no one seemed to know what happened despite me asking multiple staff members why this had happened a second time and after being assured at drop off that they'd get her to gymnastics. It concerns me that if the staff can't even tell me why my daughter wasn't taken to a class she was signed up for and that they assured me they'd get her to. Overall, Lifetime Fitness has some great things going for it, but there were a few issues that prevented me from giving it a higher rating. read more

Lifetime is not a gym for regular gym goers. It's extremely small for how big the actual building is. There's barely any weights or cable machines. The gym floor is mainly just ellipticals and treadmills. No matter what time you go it's extremely crowded. You constantly have to be waiting for a machine, dumbbell, bench, etc. I also question the cleanliness of the place as I know multiple people that have gotten ringworm from using the communal towels and stuff. 07/2022 Had the police called on me because they did not like the shoes I was wearing on the tennis and pickle ball arena. I had athletic shorts and a regular shirt on and new shoes that has treads like any hiking shoes, no metal spikes or anything that would dig into the court. They had no problem showing me the area and walking around on the pickle ball space to practice with senior citizens around going on a 2v2 game with a young group on the opposite end also doing a 2v2 match. Once I returned the same day with the same clothing, they all of a sudden had a problem with me wearing shoes that they said would "scuff up the court". Where was this outrage when the young desk attendant was showing me around earlier. The older staffer seemed to push the issue through the rest of the staff while I was standing in one location just practicing tennis serves. They had two police men escort me off and ban me from the gym. Shoes and a conversation make me worthy of calling the police to ban a member? Not worth the tourist visit of a facility. read more

I feel irresponsible at this gym. The decoration is very good. But when I was working out on the second floor, an old lady came over and harassed me. : Said go back to your China. I have an Asian face, and even she doesn't know if I'm from Japan or Hong Kong or where. But no one came to stop her from harassing me. But I called. No one came to stop her. If I were your brother, sister, parent or child. Maybe it feels different. Secondly. I think it was a large number of fire personnel. Resulting in a lot of disinfection. But my skin is really not used to it. They were burned in many places. this is true. When the owner finds out, call me to find a staff member. The staff videotaped it without respecting my opinion. Call me to find the manager. I found the manager. The manager didn't know where to go. Come and meet me. If you ask the leader, there will be no more communication. I'm like a troublemaker. The truth is I am the victim. I feel that this individual and group culture really don't know what to say. Hopefully these people and their families won't have to go through the same thing I did. The owner is saying: Oh. I'm sorry to hear this. Find a manager. The ball went to the manager. It's been 2 weeks since I emailed the manager. He pretends not to know. It's like I've never communicated with him. I'm posting here asking for help as I really have no line of communication, the owners come and kick the ball to the manager, I don't want to punish or fire anyone. Or rebuke anyone. This facility discriminates against people over 60. They restrict our memberships on times and days and seem to only care about families where they make all their money on membership fees. Children from 5th-8th grade are allowed to roam unsupervised and wreck havoc in adult areas while their clueless parents work out. I wouldn't recommend this facility to my worst enemy! Lifetime was a great gym until they started having GTX classes I. the middle of the floor making it appear that they do not have enough space for training it's getting to the point to where if there class is large they are taking up additional equipment and machines where the customers that are not in classes have a hard time working out. Also on the treadmills they are running on them harder than the average person and either the treadmills don't run smooth or they don't work at all and it takes on the average of 3 to 4 weeks for them to fix them. The quality feel of this gym is starting to decline due to this issue. If you come to the gym and can't get a treadmill or bike for the price you pay them you may as well join Planet Fitness or 10 Gym. read more

Let me start off by saying that if yelp had the option of 10 stars... I would give this place 11. While the facility, instructors, classes offered, etc. are all wonderful I think my most important feature is the atmosphere and attitude this place gives you. I have never been more motivated to not skip the gym before joining here. I was employed by Chesapeake for 6 years so I admit, I was spoiled to a beautiful facility, wonderful classes and more but lifetime definitely tops it! From the moment you walk in the door you're always greeted with a smile and once you're a member you download the lifetime fitness app that allows you to pull up your card on your phone which is about as convenient as you can get! You pass the lifetime café when walking in which I am shouldn't publicly admit that every time I've visited the gym I have also visited the café! The place has amazing smoothies, get the blueberry one and you can thank me later. The build you own bowls are incredible and so filling. Pick an option of roasted vegetables and something about their veggies, they're so fresh and delicious! The way they roast them is incredible. They even offer a breakfast special of $5 that includes an entrée with a coffee which is also free refills on the coffee. The ladies locker room is incredible you feel as if you're visiting a spa. If you're wishing to get ready there just bring along a toothbrush and toothpaste, everything else this place has. Hair ties, tampons, razors, shave gel, shampoo, conditioner, etc. you name it this place has! They even have a steam room/sauna with a hot tub that is just pure heaven to sit back and relax after a long day. The childcare facility is incredible. HUGE play area for children and classes are even offered for kids 3 years and up including: sign language, homework help class, music class and more! I even toured the facility right after it closed and noticed that they wash and sanitize every single toy and it was laying out. As a mom and clean freak, this was super important to me and I was really impressed. I think someone told me that over 180 classes are offered... a WEEK! Everything from dance jam, barre, yoga, spin classes and so much more. The classes are encouraging! The instructors are happy and helpful and there to encourage you. You are there to enjoy and have fun and enjoy your "me" time. I've never enjoyed my "me" time like this in years and I have lifetime fitness to thanks for it! This gym is a total game changer! It's a whole experience. The equipment is nice and a lot of spaces to work out in, even on busier days you can get a good sweat in. Studio classes- the instructors are amazing and motivating, I have set of classes I go to and I love them so much I never want to miss! The pool- now that it's summer the pool is super chaotic as expected but they have adult only times. I with the outdoor lap pool was half adult leisure half lap pool, it would help skip the kid chaos. Cafe- food is great and staff is friendly. This place is great imo and it's clean, I feel like things like cocktails are over the top priced even if you just want 1. I ordered my friend vodka sodas and they were $49, I kept asking the price before I ordered and was told I'll get a receipt. I don't usually ask how much things are before I buy them however today I do because of price gouging like this. Life Time is a nice place, I think they could do better though. I have wanted a place like this for so long. I can come for 2.5 hours and get in a workout, lunch, a pedicure, and a shower all without leaving the building. The Kids Academy is the real star. It takes away the parent guilt of bringing your kids to the gym 5 days a week. There are classes that your kids go to while you are getting your sweat on upstairs! The hours are amazing. Most classes are included in your membership but there are no classes 1-4:30 in the afternoons. I love them all-the variety keeps me coming back, and most instructors are TOP NOTCH. Addie at the front desk is the best-warm friendly and knowledgeable, Shannon at the coffee bar is also great. The kids club was a life saver for my one year and I felt so comfortable leaving him there daily, his first experience with day care. Ok top of that the facilities are so clean, well maintained, convenient and the classes are dynamic and great. The gym started well but now the management does not care. The indoor heated pool is disgusting with things floating in it and the pool floor is dirty like it never gets vacuumed. The jacuzzi jets do not work and has been the case for few months now despite multiple complaints. They changed the gym floor layout to a worse plan. The gym is over crowded and the managements first priority is to get more money in but no return in the services offered or improvements for members' experience. I'm a new member. I had reservations about joining this "high end" gym, but was so impressed with the staff and facilities that I joined. In my first week I've done a yoga class, a personal training session, an intro Pilates session, and worked out on my own. Here are my initial thoughts. This is a great gym! It is pricey though, and I'm turned off by the constant up-selling of different amenities/classes, including Pilates. I'm a man and I'm not going to pay $30 for a reformer Pilates class. I'd like to see them add a mat Pilates class. I know I need it, but I'll do yoga (included in membership) instead and do mat Pilates at home through Youtube. I just don't think members should be charged extra for that. That said, the personal trainers are knowledgeable despite putting me through workouts I'm unlikely to do on my own. While I think the training sessions are really good, I wish they'd tailor them more to what a client enjoys doing or is at least willing to do on their own so they don't have to keep paying for one on one training. For example, my initial training session used no free weights, and that's what I like to do. I know I need to mix in other things for cardiovascular fitness, I would just like more balance in the training. That said, I think my trainer trained me this way because she knows I want to lose some fat and get more cut. I just hope she gives me a usable plan I can follow going forward. Yoga class was good. Gotta get there early though if you want a spot. That tells me people really enjoy it. I'm not a fan of yoga because I'm terrible at it (inflexible), but the instructor I had did help and didn't go too fast. It was the "Root" class. I'll go back to that. The equipment is awesome and so state of the art I don't know how to use some of it yet, and I've belonged to many gyms. Looking forward to learning these new machines and mixing up my workouts. That's a big reason I joined. I was bored with the same old workouts I was doing at my previous gym and no direction from any trainers ever on anything. Here, you can always ask a trainer and they will spend a few minutes showing you an a piece of equipment or make suggestions on variations of exercises. In conclusion, this is a great fitness club. Unless you're relatively wealthy though, you won't be able to pay for all the extras which can double or triple your base membership cost. I can't quit because it's amazing and more than worth the money. Let me start by saying I've been to lifetimes all over the country, all levels and all ages- my husband more than me! This is the nicest and biggest one for miles. The equipment is the best. The facilities are spotless. They have fixed everything you probably didn't know was wrong with other clubs regarding layout, atmosphere and amenities. Childcare here is supreme. They follow their own rules and not all clubs do. Their employees pay attention to the kids and engage with them. So good!! I have zero guilt about working out every single day because my toddler LOVES the kids club. They have classes for older kids and they take such amazing care of the toddlers and babies. They don't just turn the tv on and ignore them. They really play and run around and have fun and are safe. The sauna is dimly lit and relaxing and always clean. Actually everything is always clean. That's not a new club thing that is an attention to detail thing. They provide so many free things like hairspray, deodorant, razors, shaving cream, etc. Parking for parents with little kids is new and a serious game changer. It's all so good. On my first visit at Lifetime Fitness in OKC I lost my Apple Airpods. The following day I got a call from Shanna telling me that she went to great lengths to find me. She got my first name off the Airpods by connecting them to her phone then she looked at all the records of people who attended Lifetime within the last several days and she proceeded to call all the Randy's. She even went to the trouble of keeping them plugged in at the gym so if I came back they would be powered up so I could use the find my phone feature to find them. I was really skeptical about joining Lifetime. The price was a bit high and I didn't want to jump on the same bandwagon as everyone else. But I can tell you so far I'm sold! The classes are full of Energy and fun! The shower area is clean and always tidy. The cafe has delicious food. The Rainforest Açaí bowl yummy. Every staff member welcomes you with a hello, how can I help or a warm smile. The best part is even on the weekends when many members are here there is always plenty of machines and equipment available. Lifetime definitely has their systems and it works! Honestly when I first joined this gym everyone was pretty nice, but the gym became very overwhelming... meaning just way to big and not so friendly. I paid almost 200.00 a month just for a 1 person membership. I canceled due to me reaching out to the sales and expressing how I want to get more involved in the classes. I was then sent to a class where is cost a extra 300.00 for 8 classes a month. I don't know what these people are smoking, but I am headed right back to Golds Gym. Predatory business tactics. None of the staff actually know the pricing and they will try to screw you if you don't come in prepared with an online quote. Argued with me after charging me 240 for 2 people for 1 week. Went online and realized they screwed me hard and charged me double what they should have. They then refused to refund or change the plan and kept the money. Heads up, if you're visiting for a week just get a monthly membership and cancel after 7 days. Thank you thank you thank you for bringing this club to North OKC! If you are new to the area and looking for a high end gym that literally has everything this is your place. I was a "founding" member here and i must say a year later it has lived up to the hype. The classes are tough and fun, the instructors actually know what they are doing, they gym is clean... allllll the time. Not once have I felt like I couldn't work out without dumping bleach al over myself lol. The spa has been great. I love using my "lifetime bucks" to get blow outs!! The food is actually really great! The pool was fun and relaxing this summer. Thor's spin classes have changed my cardio game completely! I never thought I could bike 12 miles to save my life but he makes it fun and a kick butt work out!! Do yourself a favor and go join! read more
