More than pizza! Great place to stop for a sandwich or salad to take with you on your Hood River. Located right off exit 62 on I-84, it's so convenient to stop here first and pick up some tasty eats. When going wine tasting or exploring trails, we often stop here to grab our food. The meatball sandwich was an unexpected delight! Grab lots of napkins as the sandwich is loaded with marinara and melted mozzarella, as it should be. The Greek Salad has the right amount of tang from the white balsamic dressing which pairs nicely with the field greens, rather than romaine lettuce which is more typical. The usual suspects - cucumbers, tomatoes, feta and red onion are included, but the adds of castelvetrano olives and pepperoni make it next level. This is my go-to for my meal or to split with a friend along with a sandwich. The Italian sub is legit, according to me, a Jersey girl! And the gyro also hits the spot! Typically I order something, love it, and then return to get it again and again. At Pelinti's, I've tried several items, like them all, and want to try more. Namely the pizza, which is what they are mostly known for, with a thinner crust and cooked in wood fired oven. Stopped for a quick car charge and saw this restaurant nearby on Yelp .We came for a quick bite and ordered a chicken Gyro . The store was run by a group of youngish crowd and they were sweet and sincere in how they talked to us . The Gyro was just alright and the chicken was not at all seasoned . For $8, you can get 2 big slices of pizza, a fountain drink, and a cookie. OR you can get a slice of pizza, a salad, and a fountain drink, I believe. My boyfriend opted for the former, and it was very filling for him. He really liked the pepperoni. I got a slice of Hawaiian for $4, which was enough for me. I liked the Hawaiian. The cookies were bomb and huge! Probably the best thing, in my opinion, but I'm very biased. I tried the gingersnap cookie, the M&M, and the peanut butter chocolate chip. Tonight, I called the restaurant to place a delivery order. They guy who answered the phone asked to put me on hold. I said, sure. After a lengthy wait...about 5-10 mins, I hung up and called back. The guy answered and took my order right away. I placed my order, which was supposed to be sausage and pepperoni with bell peppers and mushrooms. Instead, I got garlic with no bell peppers. I like garlic, but their garlic where huge, unchoped chunks of garlic. Gross. Yet again, EVERY fricken time I order from Pelinti's, they get the order wrong. If you order from them, don't make my mistake - make sure they repeat the order back to you, which they won't do on their own. Lastly, when I opened the box, the pizza had slid to one side in transit. The picture below is actually after I slid all the goo back to the middle of the box. I think I'm done with Pelinti's! We stopped by to grab take out. They were set up and prepared to do orders to go during the covid-19 pandemic. We tried their Italian Club wrap and Chicken Caesar wrap with a Greek salad. Horrified. I had the misfortune of having the most disgusting dining experience of my life this evening at Pelinti Pizza. I came into the restaurant to pick up my order and while waiting in line to get checked out, I noticed a man in the dining area having a lively conversation with two women, all the while, kneading pizza dough barehanded. The trio were having an animated conversation while the man continued to knead the dough, no doubt covering the dough in spittle particles in the process. One of the women even questioned whether it was "okay" for the man to be kneading dough barehanded, to which he responded that, "it's fine" because he didn't have "any cuts or sores" on his hands. I continued to wait my turn to pick up my pizza, all the while vigorously hoping that this was a customer who had purchased pizza dough to-go and was overcome by the desire to knead it immediately, while still in the restaurant or an employee practicing his kneading on dough that was to be discarded. Alas, this was not the case. The enthusiastically-conversing, barehanded dough-kneader walked right back into the kitchen and began flattening that dough out to become someone's pizza. I was horrified and speechless. I will never order from Peliniti's again and I suggest that you don't either...unless, of course, you're looking to be disgusted and possibly contract infectious disease. read more

I have always loved this pizza restaurant, my go to to order pizza for years. Never had any issues until today, NYE. I called 2 days prior, asked what time they were closing, they said 7, called again yesterday and asked what time, they said 3 or 5. I asked if I should pre order, or call in my order day of. I call today, 5 minutes after 2, the manager Nevin tells me they are closing in 20 minutes, can't take any more orders. Nevin, the awesome manager that he is, is couldn't care less that I was misinformed, more than once. True. I'm predictable. I usually opt for the $7.50 lunch special with salad of my choice, a slice, & drink. True. I use more than my share of the free wifi as I hunker down to write and find myself getting a free refill on that drink and heading back to the counter to buy a cookie. True. I like good, reliable, & friendly service. My food is good every time. The staff and owner care about my experience and don't complain when I take up residence until my laptop battery dies (and occasionally longer). True. The pizza is tasty by the slice or whole pie. The crust is just the right balance between thin and thick. (Not quite NY-style but its own yummy.) Salads are fresh and satisfy my vegetarian palate. Loved this place, and can't wait to come back. Got a meatball sandwich which was better than I had hoped and a half combo/half Lil Pepe's. The combo was great, and the Lil Pepe's was delicious. I don't mind paying the price for a large pie if it's a good value, and I felt between the giant pizza, and the quality, I got my money's worth. My buddy got the Cipolla Civola, he wasn't as much of a fan of it although we both thought it was would be the best out of the three options we got. Pizza was hot and ready when we got there, and service was good. Definitely will be back the next time in town. My only knock if I had to find one, I got the ceasar salad for my sandwich side, and it came with a dressing that tasted far from caesar. It was quite spicy from the get go and was so strong I could only get a bit or two in before having to scrap it. I'm hoping I just got the wrong dressing and that that wasn't their dressing. read more
