I called them late last week to…read moreset up an appointment to replace the seal at the bottom of our garage door and to do an overall check-up and lubrication of our door and automatic door opener. I was able to get a service appointment quickly and at a convenient time. Ron Schmidt arrived when he said he would and performed all the service in less than 30 minutes from his arrival. The new seal should keep out small critters - and probably large bugs, and the garage door is much quieter now when it goes up and down.

about a month or more ago i called A E DOOR i explained in detail i needed the exterior and…read moreinterior pads replaced on my garage door opener...everything else was fine, no issues except the pads for opening and closing the garage door...i spoke to a guy named TRAVIS, he set up a tech who came to my house and began unloading replacement equipment for rails, motors, chains, etc., all the stuff i DIDN"T need...once i explained what i needed he told me the "office didn't tell me that" then he turned his attention to what i needed fixed...after a couple of questions he asked if i had changed the battery in the exterior pad to which i confirmed i had but it was several months ago...he then took it apart, i had a battery nearby which he inserted into the mechanism and we tried it, prior to that it was working, just a pain because you had to insert your code multiple times far too often...afterr he inserted the new battery there was nothing lighting up so i took it apart and found out he had bent one of the connections rendering it useless and broken...so now i have an exterior opener that won't work at all...the tech says he'll contact the office to see if they could replace it, that someone would notify me when they knew more...then TRAVIS tells me they don't handle that brand and i'll have to look online to see if i can find one...thats not my job, its their responsibility to replace what they broke, if they don't handle that brand its on them to replace it...so i call TRAVIS again and leave a message, i was ghosted, TRAVIS doesn't respond... so there is no response from anyone at A E DOOR, they broke my opener and now they do nothing...so i'd like everyone to know what A E DOOR can do for you, basically break your equipment then do zero about it...i caution everyone fro doing business with these people unless you want to be treated like that...YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

A+ Home Remodeling Experience After scanning the internet…read morefor a company in the Dayton area for roofs, siding, soffits and some other outside updates, we were led to Dayton Roof and Remodeling. Chuck, along with his son, was quick to respond, listen to our needs, give us estimates, and remain in constant communication with us. Pictures were taken to show us what needed our attention and a scheduling of services began. We did not know that our chimney needed repair. One of his crew came prior to any roofing being installed to restore our chimney. We appreciated the detailed pictures that were shown to us before of the damaged areas and after to show us the work completed. His company/crews proceeded to install new wood where there was weather damage, put up weather barriers on everything, completed our roof, installed new siding over the original wood siding on our house/workshop. New porch posts were designed and detailed trim work completed. Each day the debris and trash were cleaned up and hauled away. They made sure everything was left neat and tidy. The job is done and everything looks beautiful! We are so thankful to have found a company that had constant communication with us allowing us the time to choose the proper colors with the corresponding accessories.
