We where hooked up with Joe Pellegrino and he did a great job of going over their inventory on his computer with us as it was cold out. He took out input on wants and needs. When I originally bought my car from Pellegrino's, I got amazing service from Brad, Brad is a 5 star sales man all the way! I ran into an issue while out of town, about a month after purchasing my car and I was stranded in middle of (for me was) nowhere. I reached out to Pellegrino's and dealt with the service manager and he was outstanding, caring and he had amazing customer service. Side not, they fixed the issue at hand. Salesman preceded to tell me that there was no spot and they didnt fix anything when clearly u could see it in atleast 4 pics online. Bought a 2015 nissan pathfinder about a week ago. Tne whole process was very smooth and easy. I worked with Brian Jackson on sales a very nice guy and didnt try to sell any extras, he did mention them as info only if i wanted but def didnt try to upsell me!! That was awesome. So after we agreed on price tjey did a NYS inspection!! New tires brakes,and upon inspection tje found a resr coil spring that needed to be replaced and did it!!!! These guys are really professional and helpful. I considered a pretty hard to find vehicle (Audi S3) from them but ultimately decided against it because I realized that I live too far away to pick it up without taking vacation time from work. That has no bearing on the quality of customer service I received, which was excellent. Went to Pellegrino on good reviews from others. As you can tell by the one star, it didnt end well. The buying experience was great, but thats where the positives end. I purchased a ver low mileage minivan that seemed like it was in great shape. One year later the rust stared to show - and it came with a vengance. They had painted over and covered up a ridiculous amount of rust. Just this week i realized they had used "great stuff" and duct tape on the bottom to hold on some pieces that had begun to rust. They also lied (and ended up getting in a pretty heated argument ) about a faulty door lock they'd agree to fix upon purchase. I should have inspected it better. I should have gotten all agreements in writing. Still no reason that a car dealer (no matter their reputation and history) should feel comfortable selling a very sour lemon. Theres a chance you'll have a pleasant transaction - just be prepared for a very ugly exchange. There're better dealers out there. read more

I have had many issues with truck. Now it seems the front driver side brake caliper is sticking and get a burning smell. I still am getting the clunking noise in the rearend. Purchased a car from one of the Pellegrino brothers that operates the place. He promised to fix the brakes before I purchased the car and was contingent upon this. They didn't fix it. I returned it and asked them again to fix it. They still didn't fix it. Instead, they re-branded my car with Pellegrino propaganda. I eventually just gave up and got the brakes fixed elsewhere and they mechanic noted how they wouldn't even pass inspection, however there was a brand new inspection sticker in the window. read more

I purchased a 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee recently from this establishment. The day I picked it up the check engine light came on. I brought this to the salesman Joe Pellagreno's attention. He went in the shop and brought out the emissions tester. I watched over his shoulder as he turned off the check engine light. He then turned the truck back on and told me it must have been a "fluke". On the ride home from there the check engine light came back on. I called the next day and was scheduled a time with Mike in service to come in. When I brought the truck back he took my keys then came back in a half hour later and said " we knew you would be back, we didn't properly install the gasket so we finished the job so your good now." Wtf... Needless to say I had nothing but problems with this truck since then. I had been back there 6 times within the 60 day warranty. Now today I had to bring the truck to my mechanic and he called to ask me if I ever had anyone put in a gasket and if so they didn't know what they were doing.... Go figure. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Also when I was there for one of my many visits the lady at the front desk and Joe were mocking customers who were calling in due to issues they had with new vehicles. They definitely don't appreciate customers or quality business practices. read more
