Stopped in for Wednesday pasta night. We got the sicilian salad, a giant meatball and the ragu. Very pleased at the portions. We were very full with a little leftover that we couldn't finish. My friend and I decided to go to pasta night - I myself have been a huge fan of the Pellicano sauce for a long time. So, I was looking forward to some delicious pasta and wine. I was not disappointed! The line to order was long, but well worth the couple of minute wait. We split a delicious bottle of red wine and each got a pasta dish. We started with the marinated olives, and they were salty, a little spicy, and full of Italian seasonings. I got the pasta fresca, which was super cheesy and full of flavor. I was able to enjoy this gluten free, and the gluten free spaghetti was perfect. My friend got the gnocchi prosciutto, and hers was zesty, creamy, and the perfect blend of flavors. For a winery that only serves pasta one night a week, this was amazing. The bottle of wine we split was so good, I will definitely be back to try more! It seems like it would be a great place to go relax in the Summer. Thanks for a great weeknight dinner! read more

Not sure why there are bad reviews but I think people are expecting a restaurant and not a winery. Take note: this is a vineyard/winery that happens to serve food! It's not a full service restaurant. With that being said, this place is 5/5. The wines are delicious and I haven't had a bad option yet (white or red). The servers even let me sample the 2 red Tuscan wines before purchasing so that was wonderful service. As for pasta night, that was a fun experience and I can't wait to come back! Again, set your expectations because this is a winery with food. The chef and owner were whipping up the dishes in the kitchen area and it was so fun to see them prepare everything. Seems like they truly enjoy it! The flavor of the sauce was out of this world. I do like that they switch up the menu so you can try different things. The Fresca pasta was delicious and the gnocchi dish was the favorite of the night! Looking forward to trying the 3/4lb meatball and also the pizzas on a Friday night! Nice grounds to take your wine sampling outdoors to enjoy on a sunny spring day. Really love the outdoor seating arrangements. Felt like you were sitting in your own backyard on lawn chairs sipping wine. Four wines in each flight for $8. Between $8 to $12 for appetizers like cheese and crackers, some with meats. It appeared that they use quite a lot of California-grown grapes to produce their wines locally. I liked their reds the most. There's also plenty of seating inside. A very spacious bar area. Also a room in the rear of the facility, for private parties. Live music several nights of the week. Pasta dinners served on Wednesday evenings. What's nice about this winery is that it's actually very close to the greater Buffalo area. An easy drive from anywhere near the city and suburbs. Easy to find, plenty of parking. Beautiful property, Dining Room, Event Venue and Patio was bright and clean. We went for pasta night, which was busy and a long time waiting in line to get seated. Their business model allows for customers to pre paid for the dinner off the printed menu, and for bottles of wine . Then you step aside to the gar to be given your bottles of wine, and glasses. The wine is opened for you. They assign a table and you proceed with your wine, to wait for your meal, but not too long. Food was very tasty, and generous portion. Enjoyed it very much. I went for Pasta Night. I would have given 5 stars except for the one negative thing. The positives are delicious food, huge portions, reasonable prices, good service, and great ambiance. The one negative that may stop me from returning was the process to order your food. We were seated at a two person table right next to the fireplace. By the time we received our food the line to order was wrapped around the entire seating area and we had people standing a foot away from our table the entire time. I am happy for the success of the winery but they really need to look at the process for ordering so that customers can enjoy their meals without people standing next to them, staring at your food and asking you questions! LOL A suggestion would be to use the front entry area for ordering. Overall it really is a great place. read more

This is a nice spot right off the 290. And if you wanted to do a crawl, Hamburg Brewery is across the street. I liked the ambiance, especially the fire, which was lit on a damp, cold late October Friday night. They do take reservations, which is why we opted to hang out there after work. Everything is marked well for COVID. You order at the counter. What I didn't like was the fact that they don't have smaller food items at less expensive price points. I had to get stuffed sweet peppers, and I try to keep a dairy free lifestyle, as well as gluten free, whenever I can. They do not offer any option that is both, and there aren't any gluten free options. You have to order food when you drink, so I had to take the cream cheese out of the stuffed sweet peppers. I think $5 for 3 small sweet peppers stuffed with cream cheese that you can get at the Wegmans olive bar for like $1, is a little excessively priced and they are taking advantage of the situation. The wine was good. I liked the bubbly, and pinot grigio the best, but to be honest, they all had good flavor and body to them. When a couple came in without masks on, an employee immediately went over to them to correct the problem. I liked that. On the Friday night we arrived, there was a great singer as well. He played to the crowd and had a great voice. This is a really nice place and I will be back. read more

My wife and I were at there Disco party on January 27,2024. We love this place. Food and drinks are great. Sitting outside in the summer is awesome too. The staff is polite and courteous. That being said, the next day my wife put a review on Facebook stating that they should have ice for their drinks. They don't have ice. She likes some in her wine and I put a some even in my beer to keep it cold. She posted it and right a way it was deleted and blocked. I hope this was just a technical issue and nothing else. We are not trying to stop people from coming here. As I said, it's a great place. All we ask for is some ice. I understand it dilutes the wine and you want it at a certain temperature but I think that is up to the customer to decide. Thanks in advance for your understanding in this matter. read more

Wow! Ignore the nay-sayers because this place is a jewel. Went to Pasta night (Weds) and had dinners far superior to most WNY Italian restaurants. In fact, we have been to italy several times and the meals we had at Pellicano's were easily on a par or superior. Service was prompt and pleasant and yes, a line does form because people know how good the food is. Wines are excellent. Setting is immaculately clean and pleasant. Manager is gracious and charming. After sitting at the bar for 90 minutes, we want to order more beverages and we have to go get in line to order... REALLY?? WHY DID YOU TAKE MY CREDIT CARD INFO if this is how you treat customers. After trying 3 separate ways to reach out to this business to see if they were dog friendly and getting ZERO response, I decided to take my mom here anyways (without the dog, due to uncertainty). This place is a bit of a drive, but seeing their social media and website we were excited to give it a try. Right before leaving, I had read a couple other reviews where the owner responded and it put a really bad taste in my mouth. To see a business owner treat customers that was is a red flag. We decided to make the trip to give them the benefit of the doubt. Upon pulling in, there was almost no one there and we received some extremely uncomfortable looks before even entering the establishment. It was nothing what it seemed like from the website, and after already feeling uneasy due to the information before coming we decided to leave. A bit disappointing to see a business owner act out, and in turn put a negative twist on the place that did not feel very welcoming. Great addition to Hamburg! I came by after dinner for a night cap. I was pleasantly surprised to find live music and tons of seating options on the front lawn for various sized groups. I was told there is currently live music offered on Thursday's and Sunday's. The winery finishes the grapes they buy to produce their final product. They had a lot of great wine choices and pricing was good, about $8 a glass and $20 a bottle. I tried the Pinot Grigio which was dry, just what I wanted, and my significant other tried the dry Riesling which was dry, for a Riesling, and fruity. We both enjoyed what we chose. There were light bites and various food offerings starting at $2-3 and up. We had the cannoli dip which was delicious and the perfect way to end en evening. The staff was helpful and wearing masks. Food was bland. They do not have salt, pepper, hot pepper flakes or grated cheese in the restaurant to add to your meal. No butter for the very dry, stale tasting bread. Very limited menu & I do not like to stand in a line to order my drinks & food. It was very warm inside so they had the doors open & bees were bothering us while we ate. $9 & $10 for barely on ounce of wine & no ice. I like my wine on the rocks. This winery was a nice addition to Hamburg as this was my first time being here I was excited! The room was very large and had lots of space to either sit at tables or at the bar. My husband and I sat at the bar. We went close to closing time which was 9pm on a Saturday night. The waitress came over and explained everything to us as they don't normally serve wine flights past 5pm she made an exception as it wasn't too busy plus it was our first time there. We also decided to get a wine pairing small plate of a caprese salad and crackers to go with our wine. The mozzarella balls and grape tomatoes were perfectly marinaded in an Italian blend of spices. We asked about meals as they said on occasion they do have special menus for certain nights and they had a pasta special the night we went! We didn't get the pasta but the waitress told me if we wanted to keep updated on the food situation to follow them on Facebook that is a place they let the customers know what they have coming up. This winery is new and the vines have yet to grow grapes yet on the property but they do get grapes locally to make and finish the wines on their property. The waitress said the family is all Italian who own the winery. Everyone was very kind and I will be coming back to have a glass of semi-dry Riesling and try another small plate of an Italian food pairing. Oh and the WiFi inside the building is poor as the outdoor siding is metal and it makes it hard to connect. Very beautiful outdoor area for sitting outside on warm days/nights. read more

It's nice to have a winery closer to the city and a classy one as well. They even have vines right on the property. The atmosphere is so relaxing , next time I would like to take advantage of the fire pits and the patio chairs. There are menus on a table when you first enter... pick your choice of wine (or a flight if you so choose) and some small plates (which are mostly cheese, meat and cracker selections although they do have a pasta special on Thursdays) There was also a solo artist playing guitar that evening.(liked the choice of music, but a bit too loud for conversation) I really liked my choice of bubbly ($8) and cheese trio (swiss, cheddar and fresh mozzarella, $5) . In the future , I would like to see more of a selection of sweet wines on their menu and maybe some dips with bread /chips for nibbling. But for an establishment that hasn't been open for very long, I think they are doing a great job! read more

I met a friend here last night. She had been here before and enjoyed the experience. She wanted me to check it out too. I'm taking off one full star because they didn't have enough sweet wines that I enjoyed. They actually have flights of wine that you can order, which is pretty cool. It's a flight of four and is almost a half pour in these 1.5 ounce wine glasses. I ended up ordering two flights of wine so I could try to find one wine that I liked. (I tried all eight wines that are available for tasting. I wasn't in love with any of them, except for the merlot. And I'm not usually a dry wine fan. I like my wine super sweet!!) The Cabernet Sauvignon is $12/glass. That is their only wine that isn't available for tasting. I'll try that the next time that I stop in. They have pasta dishes available on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays between 4:30 and 7:30. They switch up the pasta. Last night they had four different rigatoni dishes. I had the rigatoni salsiccia. It was rigatoni with red sauce, Italian sausage, peppers and onions. It was $12 and was really delicious. I ordered a cannoli. It was perfect and really hit the spot. It was $3. They also have a small plates menu which consists of caprese, an olive medley, a meat plate, a cheese plate, Italian cookies, and chocolates. The cuccidatis looked fantastic. I'll definitely get those next time. The winery looks cool from the inside and it's a great space. The service was good too. It's a bit of a walk from the parking lot but I'm glad I came here tonight. It was a nice experience. I wouldn't mind returning. I'll support them by buying a bottle of Merlot, the next time I return. I hope when Covid ends, they might have more sweet wine options. Oh, I see on their Facebook page that they're offering Just Pizza this weekend (tomorrow and Sunday) in addition to their Orange Zone to go menu. When I asked about allergies, they advised me to read what was on the menu (the ingredients & cross contamination warning). I felt they could've been nicer about it. What is not to like about the Boston hills countryside? Visited on a Wednesday evening and was not disappointed. It is a beautiful setting. The service was quick. The server was friendly and knowledgeable. I ordered their Cab Sauv and it was very good--well balanced. I also got the meat and cheese (Swiss and mozzarella was this selection) with crackers. A very good portion for $7 ($5 for meat and cheese, $2 for crackers.) I enjoyed sitting outside and relaxing with my girlfriend. We will be back.
