Consider this........brought my swede leather jacket to them in March for mold and strong nicotene odor ,went back ''four times''from March until the end of April because the smell was ''still there'' ,the owner tells me ''hey no stress''!! Ok ,but I"m getting pretty stressed out having to take two busses from Aylmer each time .Now .......typical cost for this process is upwards of $100 .I was charged $159.00 ????? What's going on here ? Oh, I might mention he gave me a $50 .00 meal voucher for a restaurant as a sort of compensation lowering to total $109.00 .Anyhow I finally went back the ''fourth time'' to collect my vest because I had given up completely on the coat which ''still stunk of nicotene '' just as it had when I brought it in .I complained to his brother who assured me the owner would contact me again ,that was two weeks ago ........no call , no nothing . I will assume they are glad to be rid of me . No satisfied in the least ,never going back there !!!! read more

Joe Peloso just did a tremendous work for me - again. I brought him 4 white shirts that had been on hangars in my closet for more than 8 years. They all had stained from lack of wear. I brought him a bomber jacket that is now about 50 years old. It had belonged to my father and given to me more than 35 years ago. It was made Gant - a good product. All items were cleaned and now look like they were just bought off the rack. The results are far better than I expected possible. Great work from Joe Peloso, Mark and all his staff. Lovely staff, good quality service. Higher price point than I'm used to, but the service and detail is worth the premium.

I went to this cleaner to have my drapes cleaned because no one would do them in Gatineau since they have grommets and were lined ... and expensive. Peloso did a great job. After that, I brought him my duvet, 3 blankets and a couple of clothing items. Peloso's is well-known in the Ottawa area, and is in fact the official cleaners for the Ottawa Senators. For the most part, it holds par in earning that reputation. Because their clientele is high-class, the costs are naturally high. That's ok, as long you recieve high-quality, fast service in reurn for those costs. My previous and only experience here went without any major issue. The place was nice and clean, and I got my clothes back on time and cleaned well. The lady behind the counter could have been friendlier, but it was a weekend and a busy day, so I can give the benefit of the doubt here. Overall, a decent place that gets the clothes fast and orderly, if a bit expensive. read more

I recently had a brand new evening gown altered and it came back with a small stain on the neckline. After doing some research I gave Peloso Cleaners a call to see if they could remove the stain. Joseph was extremely knowledgable and gave the best customer service I've received in years. He assured me that it was probably an oil stain from the sewing machine and that he was 99.9% certain he could remove it with a spot treatment and cleaning on the gentle cycle. The dress came back stain free and brighter, cleaner, and more gorgeous than when I bought it in store. I couldn't be more happy with my entire experience with Peloso Cleaners. Fast, friendly service, but very expensive. A 2 piece men's suit costs $28.00 to be dry cleaned. I also brought in a carpet to be cleaned that had a smell of urine in it. They did their best, but the smell was stil there. read more
