I set up an appointment to check out the peloton bike in the showroom here. My medical treatment team said I need to try out impact workouts and it would benefit my bad back. Boo! I have struggled to find something that fits my needs and a mega calorie burner compared to running and kickboxing. I arrived to my appointment and worked with Jeanie. She was super informative about the bike and what they have to offer. She explained the difference in the bike and the bike plus. I love that the overall investment ends up being cheaper than a gym membership and the app provides a variety of programming with live and on demand classes. Honestly I was surprised I bought into the peloton hype. The on demand app has cycling, yoga, boot camp, etc. You can pick out a workout also based upon your timeframe too. They do have veterans discounts and financing if you need that. read more

The people here are helpful and the instructors are great. Manufacturing, shipping, and support suck. Bike arrived scratched. For a premium price of $2500 that seems unacceptable. Still no response from Peloton. Mat was ordered and paid for but never shipped. Took 4.5 hours with support to get that resolved. Heart rate band arrived nonfunctional. Tried another approach to get help - calling a number Peloton gave me which they swear is correct. When you call the number there's a message that says it's a nonfunctioning phone number. read more

I ordered a Peloton. Not cheap at all. I was told I would be contacted with my delivery date. The delivery date I was given was very inconvenient. But the other options were too long. So I agreed and rearranged my entire schedule for this Friday delivery. They won't tell you the "window" until the night before. And after I had rescheduled my entire day and taken off, I found out I was in the 5pm-8pm window. Instead of getting mad, I was told it could be early. So I was up at 7:30am. Disabled my phone screening. And kept my phone by my side while I spent my day at home and prepped for the delivery and set up. At 7pm, I looked at the tracker and saw that the truck was at the warehouse. I immediately called the delivery service and they told me the delivery guys had claimed they called. Which they did not. Then they promised that they would send the delivery right away. I waited another 30 minutes and still saw the tracking was at the warehouse. After multiple calls, it turned out that the delivery guys had lied about trying to call me. They just decided to take off early. And apparently started drinking before the call to bring my order, so I was put back in line like I had never scheduled. This was a huge waste of time and energy. Running is free! Don't waste your time on a company that relies on such terrible and dishonest delivery drivers. I don't even want people like that in my home. Not worth it! read more

I've been eyeing a Peloton before the pandemic and ended up making the purchase when going to the gym was no longer safe. I ended up waiting 7 weeks after my purchase online before my bike was delivered hence the 1 star deduction. So far, customer service has been responsive and easy. I've used them to exchange clip on shoes that were a size too big. No questions asked. In the long run, I believe this purchase was a great investment versus paying 30 dollars per in-person spinning class. read more

If you are thinking about buying the Peloton Bike or Treadmill you can schedule a trial here at the showroom. I live this because it is an investment. My husband and I both went in to try on a recent Sunday. We scheduled online to reserve a space. They had maybe 4 bikes in the showroom and the treadmill. For the bike you have to have spin shoes so you just let them know your size. I had socks with me, but they have them there too. They did a quick walkthrough of the bike, classes, etc. I opted to do a 20 minute ride it was definitely challenging, but I really liked it. When we finished I had some issues unclipping the shoes, and the rep that I wasn't working with kept shouting how I should do it. That was annoying. Overall good experience, but there was no follow-up from the girl we worked with. We ended up ordering online. You could have made a commission ?!?!? Minus a star. In addition to trying the bike out, you can also go in for milestone rides. You can schedule online as well. read more

Don't EVER order a Peloton Tread. We have been loyal Peloton users since 2016, started with Bike, added Tread to our collection and it is the WORST customer service I've ever experienced in my life. It weighs an egregious amount, you cannot easily take it apart for relocating at all, you have to schedule a service appt when you want to move it and the service team is TERRIBLE! We have tried to have them come out for over a month, with 2 reschedules on their part, once they finally showed up the delivery guys thought we were getting a mattress delivered, they were late, didn't have the correct tools and said they would come back, never came back, and support is an utter nightmare to deal with. We would gladly just give away our Peloton to have it out of our house!! Such a nightmare - no longer Peloton supporters AT ALL. read more

I ordered the bike+ in November 2020, from the showroom in Domain. I still don't have the bike. After the fourth delivery attempt was canceled today, I canceled the order. I am reading a lot of post online that the quality has gone downhill since they are getting so many orders and did not have the capacity to keep up with them. Probably bad manufacturer QC'ing now. Their CS was just horrible when I talked to them and after the 4th attempt to deliver was canceled yet again, I had just had enough. I wasn't willing to continue with my order knowing all this. Don't want to spend $2000 plus just to have to cross my fingers the bike doesn't fall apart on me and that the next scheduled delivery will indeed happen. Peloton lost a customer for life and I will surely let all know of my experience. read more

I have long been a fan of cycling and indoor spinning. I've spent countless hours and probably $10k+ going to big box and boutique spin gyms. I've been a loyal fan of SoulCycle, Flywheel, Urban Ride, Kor 180, Ryde, Cyc, neighborhood gyms - have tried them all. Well hunny let me tell you - Peloton is the absolute best. The bike is SOLID!!!!! What really sold me was the abundance of live and in- demand classes. I've taken 25 classes in the time I've had the bike (45 days) and also used the app with my own treadmill. If I went to 25 classes at SoulCycle that would have cost $750 - so needless to say this is a fantastic deal. There's a whole community online and you can even plan your travel based on which hotels have a bike. I did buy my bike online, but went to the showroom to test it out. I heard there are special gifts if you buy in-store. They fit me with shoes so it was easy to test out the bike after signing a few waivers and an overview of the bikes screen. From buffalo ny waited almost 8 weeks for a bike when delivered rode it the next day pedal came off in 3 min. Waited for crank arm because mechanism was stripped sti waiting another 2 weeks to repair. A joke, nothing but a money making business, before you know it spring is here and will be outdoors. The crew that came and set my Peloton bike up were amazing. They put it all together then walked me through getting my feet locked into the pedals and then how to get them out. I ordered the upgraded version with the extra weights on the back and they set all of that up and went over all the safety precautions to properly use them. During this quarantine while my gym was closed, my Peloton has been a life saver. Love the live classes you can watch on it and my kid likes the rides through the streets of Paris and San Francisco. They're a little pricey but so worth it. One of the best investments I've made. read more

As a runner, I was interested in the bike for cross training, as well as the treadmill, for which I had heard good things from friends. Unfortunately, the salesman was beyond rude and unwelcoming. After we left my husband wondered aloud if he was actually a murderer who had stashed the body of the real salesperson in the back, as he so clearly wanted us to leave. I don't think I've ever felt less welcome in a store. If I'm looking to drop a few thousand dollars, a little common courtesy is a bare minimum I'd expect. What a horrible company. Have been eyeing a peloton bike for a while. The sales person was very friendly and helpful. You can go to the store and try one of the classes. I tried the bike at a hotel I was staying at and loved it. Got a great workout and it was better than classes I have taken at studios I have been to. Haven't committed the funds yet- hefty price for bike and monthly membership. Maybe a future birthday gift. read more
