This was extremely disappointing, completely unhelpful, and expensive. I went for a fitting because I had anterior knee pain while cycling. After my 3 hour fit, I went for a 30 mile test ride and the knee pain became 5x worst! I was limping for 3 days. Prior to the fit, I asked the owner (Chad) to make sure any bike parts I would need to improve my position would be in stock and ready for me because I was leaving for a long 500 mile trip a week later. He said no problem, and during the fitting, I was told I didn't need any new parts. But a week after emailing Chad telling him how my knee pain was drastically exacerbated, he told me I need a new seatpost - one that he doesn't have. In fact, he told me this on the day of my departure! He said he has "LITTLE CONFIDENCE YOU WILL NOT EXPERIENCE PROBLEMS IN THE FUTURE" unless I get the seatpost. If that's the case, I should have been told on the day of the fitting; not left in the wind without a proper fit, prone to injury. No refunds. No exceptions.

When I got a bike fit done last year, I went to a shop in Brooklyn. The guy who did it came well recommended and, being new to cycling, I was happy with the service I received. After getting a new bike this year, I needed another fit and tried to arrange it with the same guy in Brooklyn. After waiting 5 days for his response to my first email, then getting completely ghosted on my reply, I took to the web and found enduranceWERX. Having had my fit done a few days ago, I can confidently say that I had no idea what I was missing when it came to a bike fittings... Booking was a breeze, done all on their website. No unanswered emails here. My fit was done by Allen. He was beyond thorough, explaining every adjustment he was making, what my body wad doing that demanded the adjustment, and how the new positioning would improve the comfort and performance on my bike. When tweaking something, we'd make an adjustment, give it a go, move it some more, and give that a try too. It was nice to see that he didn't have an "I adjusted it once, so it's fine now" attitude. They work with the feedback you and the computer give to really hone your position, even if multiple tries are required. I think we spent the first 45 minutes just getting my cleats in the right spot (apparently I have very atypical feet)! During the fit, you're hooked up to all manner of sensors to get accurate computer feedback on your motions. There's also a camera so you can see how your position has been improved before and after the fit. I cannot recommend getting your bike fit done here enough!

Did extensive search on endurance werx for a bike fit, emailed with some personal history, disappointed that I never heard back.

This was an upbeat class that really helped me stretch out my arms and gluteal muscles. There were lockers, water/drinks, and cycling shoes to rent for free. Since it was my first class, I did not know how to step on the machines or take off my cycling shoes but there were employees there to assist, thank god. I just wished this was a longer class(1 hr sounds better).

With the first class ending around 10:15am, by the time you head out it's almost lunch time. I think the earliest weekday class may be 7am, which can be a challenge if you have to be at work early. Check in is easy and staff are friendly. It gets very crowded fast trying to find a spot to sit and change shoes or get to a locker. Even worse when the next class shows up and you are trying to exit the studio and change shoes. There two single restrooms and a tight fit by the mirror once you step outside of a restroom. They offer hair ties, spray deodorant, Malin & Goetz lotion, ear plugs... fairly standard. There are no showers, but they noted I could shower downstairs at Pure Barre because they share. An employee helped set up my bike before class started. The studio felt like most crowded cycle studios in NYC. The air circulation wasn't the best and I noticed they kept opening the door every so often. A little distracting when the studio is dark but you periodically get the bright lights from the doors opening. Music wasn't really my favorite. Overall friendly staff, but I didn't leave feeling like I had an intense workout. This location was a bit out of the way for me and felt very cramped from seating to restrooms. Perhaps the other studio locations are more spacious?

Pre-pandemic, I'd take spin classes in-studio and then in 2019, I bought my bike because I loved the classes so much and wanted easy access to them. Peloton instructors are golden, once you find the ones that resonate the most for you (kind of like therapists). When the pandemic hit, in-class was suspended, teachers did their thing from their homes and so it went for a while before the new studio opened and then it seemed impossible to get into a class, so I didn't even try. Now that I've gotten in, I cannot wait to go back! The space is huge, with separate rooms for each class. I took both a spin class with Robin and a yoga class with Anna. Check-in was seamless, and as always, the staff is informative and accommodating, from check-in to locker room and classrooms. If you're looking to buy apparel, it's on the upper level past the locker rooms. There's also areas in which you can hang out before/between/after classes. Quick tips: I was worried I'd be stuck grabbing a bike that would be prominently on camera. I had no need to worry because those are highly desirable spots and people get there early to get their place in line and I observed those were the bikes that people grabbed first. The yoga studio is small, seven mats. It's a more intimate experience and Anna, who is so lovely, got to know everyone in the class and spent significant time afterwards for photo ops in the studio.

I have never experienced anything like this! Being a first-timer, I was able to jump right in with no issues. They provide you with cycling shoes that attach to the bike, pretty easy to clip on and off. The bikes measure your heart rate, calories and RPM, occasionally your ranking pops up onto the screens in the front of the room which for anyone competitive, like me, pushes you to go harder. The workout burned my legs in ways I have never felt before, but also I could feel it working my total body. I liked how arms were incorporated into the workout as well with weight bars. There are locker rooms, with customizable locks, a hydrating/snack station and a shower room! The class instructor named Jen was so motivating during the class. I loved that this class was more intimate. Other cycle classes I've done in the past were more intimidating because there were 100 people in one ride. They had a purified water fountain system to refill your water bottles. Everyone that worked their was kind and engaging. I definitely enjoyed my experience. Keep in mind that there's no dedicated parking lot, just street metered parking nearby.
