This is such a great experience within the Riverwalk Resort! Come with friends or if you are a wine lover and your spouse is not, come by yourself (they can go to the arcade!). A mom even brought her quiet young kid as she sipped. This place is for anyone. I chose the 5 flight experience. I think you can also choose a 2 glass experience. Shain really knows his stuff! I'm sure other staff are wonderful but when I was there Shain was our guy. He really was great. The wines were all nice. I bought a bottle not featured so I could try more of what the winery has to offer. I love that I could experience this while at this resort! I had visited my friend in CA and she took me to wineries out there. This had a similar feel. Wish I was able to book a tour. But the tasting hours are pretty open. I was worried I wouldn't be able to come by at all with our hiking schedule but I made it to tasting at least! If we come back to Lincoln we are definitely staying here again- for lots of reasons but this winery is a big one! They are under construction now. I bet it's going to be even better when it's done!

A highlight of my fall leaf peepin' trip! You must make a stop to SB Winery while in the Lincoln area. The flight was $20 and included a 5 sample selection. The pours were generous at 2oz each so you pretty much end the tasting with two glasses of wine. The selections were well varied between whites, reds, and roses so there was definitely something to suit everyone. We opted to add a cheese plate which was customizable. They'll plate whatever you like from the store. Make sure you sample a local cheddar with the wine! It definitely completed the experience. Come enjoy some delightful wines surrounded by a gorgeous view. Oh! And ask for Kristin. She was our sommelier and was a joy in addition to being an expert! Helped us make selections and gave great descriptions of the wines.

We were greeted as soon as we walked in. Explain how the winery works and we were sat down. We had the cider and wine flights. You won't go wrong with any of the choices. Everything we tried was amazing!

Amazing!! Didn't expect much from the outside because it was in a resort (hmm...is the winery..in there?) But it will blow you away. Excellent service, excellent wines for both white and red. Loved the red blends and also loved the apple mulled wine which tasted like an apple pie in a glass. Did the wine tasting (~$20) where you can pick 5 wines with generous pours. I didn't get her name but the lady with beautiful red hair was just delightful and taught me a lot about wine. You can also buy cheeses (~$7) or crackers inside a la carte and bring it outside to enjoy. We sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful weather and sunshine and views. They are expanding quickly! In the future the nice spot we sat will become a clubhouse for wine members so we were glad to experience it before it expanded.

New winery is located in the brand new section of the RiverWalk resort. Very interesting to see and hear how wine is produced there. Tasting included three white and three red wines.

Seven Birches Winery! Located inside the Riverwalk Resort! Wide selection of wine and hard seltzer, brewed on site! Try the seasonal wine, Blueberry, Strawberry and Iced Apple! Employees are always delightful and welcoming. They also sell souvenirs and attire! They offer free drinking samples before you purchase to ensure you like the taste of the wine you are buying.

Please like my review! If you are a wine connoisseur, don't have high expectations of Seven Birches Winery. If you are not a wine connoisseur and for the caliber of New Hampshire, not bad wine at all. I was going through the town and wanted to give it a try and I am glad I did. For $20 for wine tasting, also not bad but we definitely shared a glass. The highlight was actually wines made from 100% strawberry and 100% blueberry that would pair so beautifully with angel cake! The reason why the place got 5 stars is thanks to the customer service of Zach, a fourth year student at Plymouth State University. We had the Symphony 2022 (Chenin Blanc), Sunset Red 2021 (Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot), Strawberry 2022, Blueberry 2022, Twilight 2021 (Pinot Grigio, Syrah, Tempranillo, Merlot, Cab), Savanna 2022 (Sauvignon Blanc).

This is such a fun spot if you're heading up to see the foliage, for a hike, to go row a boat by a lake or do something fun and outdoorsy! (but not that outdoorsy since I still need to stop for my wine and cheese) The wines are local, and so are the cheeses. Makes for a super fun tasting to try out the blueberry wine (probably my favorite. I know. Real wine enthusiasts would scoff at the idea of a blueberry wine but hey, when in New England right?) The wines were pretty tasty, but I think we all decided the cheeses were phenomenal so you definitely have grab a bunch. And by grab... they charge you per cheese out of the fridge and you cut it and serve it yourself. Which is also reflected in the really reasonable price. And the view from this place is phenomenal. Seriously, for the price we paid the view, the ambience, the food... This place can't be beat. I just hope it doesn't get too crowded next time we're back!

Seven Birches Winery is located inside the RiverWalk Resort at Loon Mountain in Lincoln, NH. It offers a wine tasting room with an adjoining restaurant as well as a cider room across the parking lot. Seven Birches Winery is an extremely popular destination for tourists as it is situated inside of a ski resort that overlooks the mountains. The tasting room offers a beautiful view of the mountains, and their outdoor pool and hot tub. We first visited the wine tasting room and shared 8 tasting glasses of wine between 4 people. Seven Birches Winery boasts high quality wine and I particularly enjoyed the blueberry fruit wine and the mulled wine. The mulled wine is a winter-must. You can even purchase a kit to make it at home. Following the winery, we went across the street to taste their seltzer water, mead, and cider. We also ordered their deluxe picnic platter. As someone who considers themself a cider and mead connoisseur, I recommend sticking with the wine, and avoiding the ciders and meads. They really need to be improved before they can be enjoyed. The seltzer water was okay, but again, nothing special. The deluxe picnic was tasty, however, for the price of the charcuterie board, it would have been nice if everything was already cut and placed on the cutting board. When you receive the platter, you are handed a box with the cheeses, meats, crackers, and maple syrup. You are then expected to cut everything yourself, which is a bit of a pain. I understand that it's supposed to be the novelty of a picnic in a restaurant, but still. Of this picnic, we adored the smoked maple syrup. We even purchased a bottle to bring home. Overall, seven birches is a high quality winery and a nice place to stop on a cold or rainy day. I would award them 4/5 rather than the full 5 stars simply because their cider and mead leave much to desire.

My husband and I stopped here on our way up north. What a fantastic stop, Katie did our wine tasting and she was so enjoyable and knowledgeable. The wine was so good, especially the mulled wine and the iced apple wine. Highly recommend whether you're just passing through or you're staying in the area!

Wine tastings can be scheduled or walk-ins are accepted. There are two options, just a tasting or a tasting and a tour. A tasting is $10 for 5 samples. All wines are local. In reality it's 3 1/2 stars. The room is on the smaller side and tends to get super crowded. Also, we ordered the cheese tray & our friends ordered the chocolate tray that after our third tasting we had ti ask where it was. They look like the trays are made in advance and shod definitely been out to us earlier. The sommelier basically read the descriptions off of the list we checked off. Also, this is the only place that really only poured "a tasting" in our glasses. The place was decorated super cute and I loved the wine cork backsplash. They had a refrigerator that you could buy cheese or drinks and have with your sampling. The wine wine was absolutely delicious, I truly did enjoy all of the wines I tried. The bottles to purchase were a little on the expensive side $24-$28 for a bottle. I did overall enjoy the experience and would definitely come back to try other wines because they do change seasonally.

I went inside the hotel part and it was great. Outdoor seating, with a fall view. Wines were delicious!

I don't understand some of the terrible Yelp reviews. This winery has the whole package. Beautiful tasting room with a lovely atmosphere, gift shop items to support other local businesses, great ever-changing wine selections, fascinating and informative wine tours, and palatable wine. What more could you ask for? Viognier- A fruity white French wine, light-bodied with mango and tangerine notes. Couldn't leave here without a bottle of this fabulous tasting wine. Malbec- One of my favs from here. Aged in steel a tank and was very lush. The Chocolate Sampler ($8)- You get to try out these decedent little pieces of locally-made chocolate. Wine tasting and snacks to nibble on, it's the only way to do it! Overall Service: Excellent! The sweet young lady that did our tasting was new but was well-articulated and personable. And we totally lucked out when one of the owners did our tour. It was blast! It literally was one of the best wine tours we've had the pleasure of experiencing and I would absolutely recommend anyone who's planning to visit the White Mountains to bookmark this very winery.

Hi! Are you family friendly (well behaved) at off hours of the day? Aka coming in not at peak times.

We are family friendly at ALL times, but thank you for checking!

Hi there, does the menu have vegan options?

All of our wines, ciders, seltzers are vegan. The food depends on what you order. The Meads are still debatable. Hope this answers your question.

How often do you have wine tastings?

We are open every day! We do wine tasting flights and wines by the glass, along with some picnic style charcuterie, etc. More information available about our tasting rooms on our website: www.sevenbirches.com

I wanted something more personal, and affordable. Finally found 'Discover Tuscany'. Christina immediately started helping me with this. She works with Guido (our tour guide). Everything was arranged for him to pick us up at our hotel, and have the whole day planned for us. Christina helped us with our train schedule (we visited 3 cities), and also booked our hotel in Florence. This part of our trip was Absolutely perfect thanks to her. She worked hard and accommodated to our schedule and requests patiently and successfully. We arrived at Residenza Johlea (hotel Christina recommended and booked) and it was one of my favorite hotels in the 2 weeks I was in Europe. For our wine tour, Guido was right on time, very friendly, funny, and very knowledgeable. He asked what exactly I was expecting from the tour, and with my input, even though he had the day planned, he changed it seeing that other things might be more to my liking after talking to me personally. He made a couple of calls and took us to 2 Brunello wineries. Must say, this is now one of my favorite wines. Not only was the wine amazing but the people too. We got a tour of Costanti where we tasted 4 of their Brunello wines and got a tour of their winery, while learning about the region, the wine, and it's process. Next, we went to a small, family owned winery, winner of last year's best wine in a blind tasting and found only over there.. This was a really nice experience, we met the owner and wine maker Valter Nanetti, very nice man. Met his wife and grand kids, plus we were able to handpick fruits from their garden - delicious! After this, and extra to the tour I had envisioned, we had a cheese tasting. Fresh, smelly, so good. Lunch came next, and a little tour of the city. Before I left, I really wanted to see sunflowers. They weren't in season yet but Guido drove and drove until he found them for me. This was not part of the tour but, I know Christina had told him this was one of my "must do" in Italy, and with me telling him too, he just went for it. I can't say how much I appreciated this and his great attitude throughout the whole tour. When I get another opportunity to travel like this, I'm contacting Christina again to help me plan it. She's a great person to keep in mind, she's a travel agent with great hotel contacts and tours. If in Italy, ask her about Guido, he offers tours all over the country, not just wine. Believe me, you'll have a great vacation and learn at the same time.

We arrived in Rome only to find our luggage did not. Despite the extra time we needed to file a claim for our bags, our driver Roberto waited patiently for 2 hours until we were ready. He was fantastic. The next day is when we met Guido and our trip instantly got better. He toured us around Florence, stopping by local shops for wine, snacks and espresso. He made us feel welcome, made us laugh, and most importantly, made us forget that we didn't have any clothes. We were with Guido for 3 days in Florence where he took us to 3 amazing vineyards, helped us plan our meals, and on the final day he took us to the airport to reclaim our belongings. I cannot overstate what a great pleasure it was to spend time with him. Christina helped us with the next part of our trip by arranging transfers from Naples to Positano, scheduling a top-notch cooking class, and planning a boat tour of the coast. This is a first-class operation that we will surely be using again for future trips to Europe. Thank you Christina, Guido, Roberto and Giovanni for making our trip to Italy an unforgettable experience.

It was extremely overpriced and they charge an extra $4.50 per person in fees when booking online. Their lunches are $20 for a sandwich and snacks + drinks are ridiculously expensive. Now as for the ride, it was definitely too long. The first 1.5 hours is literally looking at nothing but the backyards of people's homes and the forest of trees. They have a narrator during the first half of the trip, but you could barely hear him at all. There's no cell service or Wi-Fi so you're really stuck to staring out the window. The train does get some nice mountain views for about an hour, stop at a tourist gift shop for 30 minutes, and come back the exact same way. The coach seats were ok and we got lucky it was a cool day with a nice breeze coming through the open windows. There is no AC in the coach seats, but it's available in first class and dome seats (however it does smell very musty/damp and would've made me cough the whole ride). The coach seats face each other, so leg room is literally impossible for 4 adults. We took up all the leg room with just 2 people. Overall, myself along with many other people on the train were not thrilled with the price we paid and what we got in return.

This tour was a joke...sorry guys!…read more The guys were nice but it cost us $95 (and another $95 for my son and his gf) and they literally went up and down the sameeee couple roads all night. There was a stop at a convenience store in the middle. Convenience store was really nice (probably the highlight of the trip honestly) but they kept telling us over and over to thank the convenience store for staying open for us. Of course we were thankful but come on, they made out too since most of us bought something there and that's where the bus got its gas. Not only that, but if there wasn't a stop mid-way, we never would have took the tour. So why don't YOU thank the convenience store for staying open for YOUR tour? Also, maybe tell everyone once, not over and over like we are children??? We never saw any moose and although they state they have a 90% success rate (highly doubt that) and there's a chance you won't see any, in my opinion, they (as a business) should have offered us something. It didn't have to be money. It could have been a 50% off ticket for another tour or anything really. Think of it this way, we'll never be back. We live in MA and go to the White Mountains often. Someone asks us...we say...oh no, don't do that tour. Boom...you lost even more business. Not my problem but as a business, you might want to think through your policy's. There's not a person in the world who wants to spend $95 per couple to go on a tour of the same two or three streets for 3 1/2 hours and see nothing! The kicker was at the end when they had the gall to ask for a tip and put a flashing red sign that says something like, no tip is too big. Are you even kidding me???? Nice guys but maybe should think about their business model. Very important to know, you are NOT guaranteed to even be able to sit with your person or people you go with. Ridiculous! Also, supposedly doing this for years (I forget the exact amount but 30 plus comes to mind), and you don't know when the moose will come out (type of conditions) or do a little drive by before the tour? If we saw a moose, I'd feel the same way but at least I'd feel like I got something for my money. Meh...wasn't impressed. Don't waste your money and just go do the drive yourself. There's lots of maps on where to see moose in the area. We would have done this as well but thought we'd have better luck with the so called "experts"

The tour was ok but the business is a crap show…read more I purchased tickets for me and my two kids. We arrived on time and were given a card indicating when we would board. Our card, #11, would board last. I was told there were no assurances I would be able to sit with my kids as we would get whatever is left. As we boarded the bus, we walked down the aisle, looking for available seats...there were two seats left toward the back where my kids sat together but that was it. All seats were taken. The owner apologized and said that two people must have boarded without tickets. He then asked me to come back tomorrow rather than try and find out who did not have tickets to board the bus. I told him we had planned our entire day around this trip and I would not be able to return tomorrow. He then shrugged the shoulders like we were out of luck...not his problem. There was an elderly couple that saw this transpire and offered to give up there two seats and come back the next day so that I could ride with my kids on the tour. As much as I didn't want to pass on my problems to them, I graciously accepted their offer. I think it's disgusting that the owner of the company would rather allow two people with no tickets on board and screw up an entire day for paying customers than to take the time to find out who was on the bus that didn't have tickets. I don't understand why they just don't check tickets as people board. The way they line everyone up to enter the bus, anyone can jump in line and no one would know. This experience ruined the night for me. Yes, we saw a couple of moose roadside on the three hour tour but the way they run their company, I would find another tour that would make a point to allow you to sit with your children and your tickets that you paid for is actually yours for the night not some freeloader who is rewarded and gets away with taking your seat.
