The guests were all sweating up a storm and couldn't stand staying in the barn because it was so hot. The small house fans were weak and offered no relief. They desperately need ceiling fans at a minimum and a swamp cooler would be good. My companion was beyond overheated and couldn't leave because there was no cel reception to call an uber.

The only reason that I'm knocking off a star is for the sound. It seems like it would be a good venue to hear when someone is talking with or without a microphone. Depending on where you're sitting, it's tough to hear. I couldn't hear many of the toasts during the dinner. No big deal because I just got up and moved about so that I could hear. For an event where movement might not be possible, good luck on hearing anything that could be said. The reception I attended had plenty of room. Two bars set up. A DJ. A dance area. The tables. Claims to fit 350 which may be possible if the weather allows patrons to go outside but the wedding I attended was 150ish? if I had to guess and it was a great space. No complaints on my end Food: Some people fret over food at weddings, I personally could care less about the food. It was perfectly adequate wedding food - Its what I want at a wedding, some mashed potatoes, green beans and chicken. Only complaint was the pork was dry. We felt for her, as she handled the situation professionally and provided excellent service despite the constant oversight. We wish her all the best. Later, when we went to get ice cream, Emily was just as friendly and helpful as Grace. Unfortunately, our ice cream was already melting and dripping down the cones when we received it. A kind employee offered to have them remade, and we gladly accepted. However, the replacement order was made incorrectly, and at that point we decided to simply eat what we were given. While both Grace and Emily provided outstanding customer service, the issues with the ice cream unfortunately put a damper on the end of our visit. As visitors from Oregon, we were excited to compare the experience to the Tillamook Cheese Factory. The visit started off wonderfully thanks to your staff, but the ending left us disappointed. Overall, we enjoyed our time, but in our opinion, Tillamook still holds the edge.

She motioned to the bench and said we will seat you in a minute. So I went to the restroom. Returned and our granddaughter did as well. Still no one. We debated leaving but the waitress came. Food was good. Her service was also good. Just didn't understand the waiting without acknowledgement.
