My sister recently visited your store in Oregon and purchased a pair of Pendleton wool adventure socks for me as a birthday gift. When she presented the gift to me she was excited to tell me all about your company, which she was familiar with, until I read on the package that the socks were made in Taiwan (which was printed in tiny print in the corner). Which came as a HUGE shock to her. On top of that shock, we then looked at the materials list for the socks and found that they were only 31% wool the rest was synthetic fibers. She paid $19.50 for a pair of socks that she thought were authentic Pendleton wool socks! Your company should be ashamed of itself. This is very shady. Pendleton has built a long-standing reputation for American craftsmanship and high-quality wool products. Selling a product that is predominantly synthetic and manufactured overseas while trading on the heritage of the Pendleton name feels like a deliberate attempt to mislead loyal customers. read more

We were on a road trip from Boise to Seattle, and while driving through Pendleton, the Pendleton store caught our eye. And, after becoming addicted to the Pendleton blankets at Costco, we knew we had to stop in and check this piace out. The prices are steep - but, I guess that's just the cost of real wool. They have a coupon offer if you text a certain number for the offer, I think it was $10 off $25, worth it for you and everyone in your party to get it to pay for your goods. There were some promos like men's wool shirts were 2 for something, and in the back room they have some sale and clearance items. They offer free factory tours - we didn't know and hadn't planned for it; maybe next time. read more

You have to spend time looking around for what matches your wardrobe because let's face it. This Oregon based brand has a polarity that is pretty obvious to my eye. One side is "Native design influenced" and the other feels more ...Western/European conservative. I am mad for their long plaid skirts that are fitted from the waist to the bottom of ones buttocks before relaxing - maintaining a tailored, polished fit. $225 minus whatever discount they are offering that day. When I went it was 40%. I picked up a merino wool sweater and a cotton tunic to add to my winter capsule wardrobe. $70 for 2 natural fabric, quality sweaters? LOVES THAT! we stopped at the Pendleton outlet in Bend, OR. Although the selection was not the best for what we were looking for, the service was very nice. We were greeted and made aware of a sale that was going on . Our salesperson, Madisyn helped us find what we were looking for and gave us the discount available . She was courteous and very personable. She knew the products and was very helpful. We hope there might be more selection next time we shop there , but overall a nice experience . read more

I just made a purchase of some fine Pendleton clothing from this store. I worked with Celine Knight, the store manager. My experience was both helpful and delightful. Ms. Knight took great care to get to know my clothing tastes and find just the right pieces to suite my needs. So I had a very unfortunate exchange with the people at Pendleton Customer Services. I have been a loyal customer and purchased 2 Board Wool shirts in the last month. I was going to order a 3rd one tonight and decided to ask if they would give me a discount, as I would be buying three $149.00 shirts in a month and a half's time. The guy who answered, whose name is Mike, was very abrupt in telling me that they would not give me any discount. Due to his abrasive tone, I asked to speak to someone else. A woman came on the phone, very nice, and even asked for my info to verify that I had purchased the 2 shirts. I though maybe she will reward my loyalty to the company; she very kindly told me the same thing Mike said, only made me waste my time by giving her all my information. She basically told me to fuck off, but with kid gloves. As a new and loyal customer I was really offended by her condescending treatment, but as a person who is Indigenous to North America, I am disgusted that the Bishop family would not give back to their loyal customers, especially after appropriating our Native American designs. Pendleton Woolen Mills (Pendleton, OR) makes a huge profit off of our brown designs and do not even use a Native American model to sell their clothing, much less give back to native americans in the form of gratitude for loyalty and stealing our designs. I am reconsidering buying anything from this corporation ever again. All I wanted was a small discount for being a loyal customer, because they keep sending me coupons, but they are NEVER for the board shirts. Well....no obvious outlet prices here. Also... Pendleton doesn't seem to cater to taller people. Nothing we tried fit our taller frames. Was very disappointed, as I appreciate the quality of Pendleton products. Would be nice to see more size selection in the future. read more

I'm a sucker for well made clothing! Pendleton does on thing right, one thing that makes them stand out above the others: Their wool products are divine! Better still, the outlet has many of those products on sale! Have you ever seen normal prices for these products? In short they are very, very expensive! Ah, but the outlet here is like "a spoonful of sugar" making the medicine go down "in the most delightful way!" The prices are wonderful! The products are wonderful! Even the sales reps are wonderful! I purchased a few items and told my wife "I have got to get out of here before I purchase too much!" I now have great sweaters and night ware for the Fall and Winter! Whoo-hoo! In short, I highly recommend this store! read more

I was stoked to learn that there was a Pendleton store in Bend! The discounts seemed to be significant for some of the clothes, until I started flipping over the tags to learn that almost everything is made in China. A few things were made in MEX and a couple things made in the USA. $50 for a Chinese made towel? $200+ for a Chinese made Jacket? No thank you. I realize that my review may be a bit more about the Pendleton brand than this actual store, but aside from the blankets, unless overpriced Chinese goods are what you're looking for, you may want to go somewhere else. Came here looking for a souvenir blanket, but walked out an utterly dissatisfied window shopper. LOCATION// In the same Bend Factory Stores outlet plaza. Plenty of parking. MERCH//Although it's an outlet store, they also carry a lot of the regular, full-priced stock, such as the current blanket designs and National Park ones. Not everything is Made in USA, but most of the wool blankets are. CUSTOMER SERVICE//Came here on a weekday afternoon. Shop was nearly empty. Only one or two other customers in there along with one employee. At first it was just like any other store, where you get a friendly greeting and offer for help, tip on whatever discounts are going on. But soon it got to be a little aggressive, making me wonder if the sales person's earnings depended heavily on commission. Pendleton has a lot of beautiful patterns, so it takes time to look through them if you don't know what you want. But every minute or two, I kept getting suggestions, being asked for help, and then being asked what size and what in particular I was looking for. The sales person even eventually started somehow always working around the area I was browsing. I didn't know whether to interpret it as overly aggressive customer service, or if the heavy vigilance was because he was afraid I was going to steal something. The experience was so off-putting that I decided to leave and buy what I wanted at some other branch. read more

Bait and switch coupons. Prices are not outlet prices, but give you the impression that they are. They send out coupons, but do not honor them and always give an excuse why they don't work. Horrible upper management on a great, great product. read more
