The education, social, and emotional skills they all gained at AMS has propelled their learning and abilities and we are still reaping the benefits of AMS today. Our youngest, who is currently attending AMS full time, including their full-time wrap care program, absolutely loves going to school. I love the personal photos and updates from everyone at the school; the level of personal care and concern for all of my children while in the hands of the AMS staff is absolutely unmatched.

They're also very open to feedback, and willing to help if you have a problem. Parking can be annoying, as they don't really have their own lot, but it's not terrible. You can usually get a spot. And the bathroom is in the basement. But those aren't the things to focus on when it comes to a Montessori institute where you're going to become a teacher.

I would not recommend at all, my child was here for a total of 3 weeks and we had nothing but…read moreproblems. Her stuff was stolen and her teacher kept trying to say she didn't bring anything with her. She had rocks thrown at her that caused damage to her face and we were not notified by the school. All of our concerns were swept under the rug, they violated MULTIPLE rules in their handbook. The administrator and my child's teacher are in-laws and all they did was lie and cover things up. We were told one thing and days later it was something else. If you have a minority child stay away from this place, my child use to love school and now she hates it and everything is about color where before it wasn't. There was no progress reported on my child since she's started and there still isn't, multiple emails that were sent to the school they claim they haven't received them. Overall they are VERY UNPROFESSIONAL and I would not recommend ANY minorities to go there. There also isn't anyone above the school administration that you can talk to, to address your problems. It is a big daycare scam.

Utlized Penfield's Child Care program when my kids were little - absolutlely AMAZING - loving,…read morenurturing, caring, and extremely knowledgeable staff that really work as a team. I got to know staff from all rooms, not just my child's room. Adminstrative staff were extremely helpful with schedule needs, billing questions and program qustions. Nurses on site also an added plus! My kids are school-aged now but I know Penfield had a major influence on them as well as on me!

Working here has been the biggest challenge, but has provided the biggest rewards. Though there is a lot of work to be done, It is a great place with a supportive team environment, and leadership who is invested in the employees and understands the importance of work-life balance.
