I called ahead to get my Smog check done, and they were available. There was a wait as 2 cars were in front of me but I didn't mind. It costed me $60 for my 2012 Honda Civic. It is steeper compared to Garden Grove area prices but oh well, I was in Long Beach. Service was super fast and nice! read more

Back again for the California Smog. The OBD1 system being harder to work on with most Smog Stations, Peng is still the best in SoCal and knows the importance of getting them California clean. These do take longer, so I advise to call ahead or come in early at opening. Remember, if your vehicle isn't stock(modified) it will not pass. My man, Peng, is the best! Okay, we're not that close as this was my first time here...but I think he's going to be my new go-to for smog checks from now on. The pricing was on par with some of the other smog check places around my area, if not slightly cheaper. But I really liked his attitude and honesty. The policy here is if you don't pass the first time, you get to get another free check when you get whatever you need to fix fixed. So my car didn't pass the first run, and he knew exactly why and told me how to remedy it without going to a shop. After changing a car battery or starter in my car model, the electronics need to be ran under certain distinctive conditions for it to "re-calibrate" in order to pass the test. Pretty dumb...but had to be done, and he told me exactly how. A car shop would've likely charged hundreds to get it right. After I ran my car under the conditions provided, I just took it back, and he re-ran the smog check and I passed! Highly recommend this shop and appreciate the honesty/help. read more

I was surprised to get a dmv letter telling me my car need smog test. I have no understanding of why my like brand new car need smog check..oh yea it's 10 years old now! Wow time fly! Got here, the lady approached me right away for my paper and to fill out the form. Then just sit and wait. Clean station, nice breezy wind to enjoy while waiting. Great business. This is my third time coming and the owner has been very helpful each time. My car wasn't going to pass smog and I planned on retiring it. Before he did the smog check he recommend I call the BAR to make sure the issue with length of ownership wouldn't affect my eligibility. I hadn't even thought about that. Nice little shop located in LBC. It's clean and tidy. Place to sit outside and watch the magic happen. Peng is highly recommended and knows how to treat your classic. California is getting more strict with these OBD1 class vehicles and you need an excellent smog station that understands how to do the testing correctly. Peng understands this and knows exactly what to expect when it comes to testing. He's honest and will try to help your vehicle pass. My Jeep failed it's first smog test, which cost me $75 and could only retest within 2 weeks. When it took 3 weeks to fix, i was out of luck. This place was $60 and they'll give you a month if you don't pass. They also did a through pre-check, to make sure all the new parts had cleared the computer memory faults, and to ensure there were no glaring issues. The test was done before I knew it. They were really nice and I highly recommend this place! read more

Came in for a smog check 10/16/23. Was greeted by the owner, that there was another person in front of me. So I waited just a few mins & talked to the other customer to pass by time, who was also first time there. It was quick service maybe 10 mins for my 8 year old car, 2015 Honda Accord. The wife does all the paperwork & billing. Was told if you pay online/kiosk machine registration you have to wait 24 hours but you can pay in person at the DMV same day. The price/value is reasonable $60. So come by this place to support them & they are also a fellow Cambodian Gotta support my peepz!
