During a routine exam, she found a lump in my breast that I had no idea was there. Because she was so on top of things and made sure I got it checked right away, my breast cancer was caught in the early stages. I can't thank her enough for that. When Dr. Yu saw the biopsy results, she called me and left a heartwarming, supportive message. I feel this shows her level of care is above and beyond. Dr. Yu is always patient, kind, caring, and incredibly thorough -- and those qualities have made a huge difference in why I've stayed with her for so long. It's rare to find a doctor who really listens and truly cares, and I feel so lucky to have her in my corner. I'm deeply thankful for all the years she's looked after me. I highly recommend her.

Dr Yu is not only a skilled professional but also compassionate, caring and super dedicated to her patients. Every time I went to my appointments I felt like I had a friend in Dr Yu. No matter what, she listened to my concerns , questions, plans etc and I never felt rushed out of appointments when with her which I felt was super important and she always made me feel so at ease. I felt genuinely cared for during my time with her over the past 5 years. I am so thankful to Dr Yu for everything.

Came in with my husband, as soon as the ultrasound was up we knew something was wrong. She said there was no heartbeat and immediately went into recommending a D&C. Our appointment was 5 Min long. I wanted to take a pill and she strongly rec against that and said it looked like a possible molar pregnancy. I asked her about risks of D&C including scarring and her exact words were "for you? There's no risk of that" We scheduled the D&C and she completed it. At the post op she said everything looked fine and that she herself had had a miscarriage and it's only my first one and it'll be okay. After 6weeks of no period (and regular periods my entire life like clockwork) I reached out to her. She said maybe I have pcos and wanted to put me on progesterone and do additional tests. Everything came back normal and she still wanted to put me on progesterone. After going on that, it did not change anything with my period and she continued to say nothing was wrong with the d&c. Months passed, I kept checking with her and she didn't refer me or recommend anything else. My period continued to not come for 6+ months. I did research myself and went to a specialist Reproductive endocrinologist and infertility specialist who confirmed that I had scarring from the D&C procedure. She did a procedure to remove scar tissue and my period came back but has been light ever since. The specialist said I have permanent damage from the D&C. I updated Dr Rao about what happened and she never responded even though she had viewed the message. She does not seem to really care about her patients. She also does not seem knowledgeable and is not thorough in her diagnoses, findings, or recommendations. Would not recommend her to anyone

First of all, Dr. Michelle Tsai gets 5 OUT OF 5 stars. If I could give her more stars, I would!…read more She is a truly gifted doctor. She performed surgery on me twice, both times completely laparoscopically. The surgeries went wonderfully well and I am truly amazed and in awe of her skills! Dr. Tsai is also extremely compassionate, friendly, and genuinely concerned for her patients. She is a gem of a doctor! If you are looking for someone who combines bedside manner with extreme competency as a doctor and professional manner, look no further! Dr. Tsai is the doctor for you! If she was in her own practice, she would hands down receive a full rating. I actually feel bad rating this practice down one start simply because the doctors and nurses/medical assistants are FABULOUS. However, the front office staff at Medical Arts OB/GYN leaves something to desire and on their own would barely scrape by with a rating of 2 stars. The majority of the front office staff are extremely curt and unhelpful. Every time that I have to make a call to the office, I grit my teeth because I know that it is not going to be a pleasant experience. In fact, it seems as if I am bothering them whenever I call or come into the office when their job is take care of my questions and check me in for my appointment. It is also sometimes uncomfortable to sit in the waiting room because they are so loud when talking on the phone. I highly doubt that whomever is on the other line wants their billing issues, medical issues, or the date of their last menstrual broadcasted across the waiting room.

She did leave me a voicemail, but in it she stated that she didn't have access to my lab results and wouldn't be able to help me that night, advising me to call the office the next morning. What shocked me was what came after. At the end of the voicemail, it seems she thought she had hung up -- but she hadn't. I overheard her speaking rudely about me for not answering, in a very dismissive tone, despite the fact that she had already said she couldn't help me regardless. She then left the phone line open for several minutes, during which I could hear her family conversations in the background. As a patient, and especially as a new mom seeking care during such a vulnerable time, this was deeply upsetting. If a provider shows such impatience and lack of compassion in a small situation as the on-call physician, I truly worry about how she might treat patients during something as critical as labor and delivery. I would absolutely recommend avoiding her at all costs. In fact, I'm now considering changing hospitals entirely, just to make sure I don't have to encounter her when it matters most -- the birth of my child. Stay safe out there, moms. We deserve providers who are kind, caring, and compassionate -- especially when we're entrusting them with our lives and our babies.

Here is my honest review: In 2020, Dr Wong delivered my son at Lucille Packard. She is nice,…read moreknowledgeable, very capable, gentle and overall a very good doctor. A few things I wish were different: it was one of my last appointments and I really hoped to have an ultrasound picture of the baby but she didn't agree. While my very last appointment was with Kaytha Clawson and she did an ultrasound and gave me a picture before I asked. This meant a lot to me since I had no ultrasound of my son in 3rd trimester. But this is not why I gave Dr Wong 3.5 stars. In year 2024, I had a small growth of cyst in my uterus. Dr Wong said typically these are benign but better to take it. 1- it took 2+ months just to get surgery scheduled. This made us lose time from our TTC journey. 2- once 10 min before surgery and once on a video visit, she said "since you have bleeding between period, removing the cyst would help..." I reminded her that I never had bleeding between periods and didn't say anything as such to her before. So she was mixing things up. 3- after my surgery, I hoped that I can talk to her. It seems she talked to my husband but he doesn't know what to ask while I was still under anesthesia. Dr Wong didn't call me or offer an appointment. I had to message multiple times to make a video appointment. The good things: my surgery was successful, easy recovery, no complications. My son was born easily and no complications. When you look at the results, Dr Wong is great. I know she is very capable, knowledgeable and cares about her patients but maybe she is too busy and can't keep up with the high demands. After the delivery of my son, I saw dr Wong 3-4 months later. She didn't drop by after birth or gave me a call. I understand she is really busy and I was doing fine so I was ok with it but if you are expecting your doctor to be very attentive, she may not be the one.

She is definitely a good listener and calm and will make you feel she understands but not so good at follow ups and quality care. Few things that make me question/judge her quality of care are :: She forgot to give me covid vaccine during my pregnancy which lead to not having immunity to my baby in first 6 months of life. When I brought it up to her, she apologized and said it was not a mandatory so we did not mention it. She was on call doctor during my stay at hospital. She came on a rotational call and she just checked in with me verbally and didn't pay attention to or even did any physical exam ( which is very much expected as part of check up given I had 3hd degree tear). Postpartum check was scheduled with her at 7 weeks. I was complaining to her about my pain and how it is difficult for me to get up or sit for prolonged time. She again did not do any pelvic exam and just said I am healed well and can do everything. Next couple of days, the pain worson and I called the NP line..they were surprised to hear my pelvic exam was not performed during the postpartum visit and they scheduled me to immediately the next day. Given a chance, I will definitely choose any other OB over her.
