There are various departments in this medical office building, and I am simply contributing my experience in Ambulatory Procedures & Surgery. And I would be giving ten stars if possible to the registered nurse who helped me stay calm and not freak out too much during my procedure, a cervical epidural steroid injection. That basically is when the doctor uses a special machine to scan view in real time live, exactly where in the spinal area to inject anti-inflammatory medicine, and everything has to be precise as you can imagine. Yup this was a time of extreme pain and stress and anxiety, and thank heavens, Mister Kelly the professional confident good-natured good-humour nurse, was there to ease me into and through the entire process. Sure, two other staffers were checking me in, but he was the one working alongside the M.D. who did the actual injection into my herniated neck disc area, all of which had been causing pain for most of the year, and that then led to worse problems, then due to a sucky set of circumstances and accident.. landed me at Kaiser. Bottom line: Kelly was a godsend. I appreciate him staying with me after hours, when I was waiting for a ride that was booked for me, but they were having trouble figuring out how to get in the building and collect me. It got figured out finally of course. The steroid injection I received at Marshall medical office sadly didn't clear all my issues and discomfort, but my expectations were set so that I knew it did what it essentially was supposed to and maybe that's all it can do. Now I need to consult my docs. Okay, TMI. Meanwhile, if you ever find yourself at this Kaiser location in ambulatory surgery -- and I hope you never have to -- you're in excellent hands with Kelly the R.N. Thank you Kelly, from the bottom of my heart and neck and lousy messed up cervical disc(s).

It's brand new, and it'll take time to learn about all it has to offer. For now, I know it has a multi-level parking complex. It's basic depts include: Lab, Pharmacy, and X-Ray. The entrance is actually on Thrive Drive, not Maple St. This building is located at Maple x Marshall, adjacent to the Kaiser RWC Hospital.

Not sure, why here on yelp, its rating is low (could be that they improved significantly recently). The first thing we saw was a brand new cheerful building, which was a good sign. We were greeted at the entrance and directed to the second floor. There were no long lines there. Could be just the lucky time (it was a middle of a work day, so maybe that's why). In any case, there were quite a number of patients, but there were also many receptionists, who worked fast. So there was no waiting, which is always a pleasant surprise in any doctor office. Everybody were super friendly and nice! And then we met Dr. Owyang! He is unbelievable! He did more (as far as diagnosing the issues) that all previous doctors combined. He spent more then an hour with my mom and was very kind, patient, and most importantly - knowledgeable and professional! He explained everything, showed diagrams, pictures. It all made sense. He was able to diagnose a case (which turned out to be three separate issues) that puzzled all the doctors who saw her before. Thank you very much!

At 11:15 I asked xitlaly what was going on because I had been waiting and just wanted to know if (EDUCATION-CHW) which is who I had my appointment with was running late. I was told to wait that she would double check. At 11:40 someone in a pink tracksuit came up to me and said "The person you had an appointment with called in sick so we'll have to reschedule. My soul left my body I felt like a joke. My 34 week pregnant self sat there paying for childcare for my other kids for them to tell me an hour after I arrived that this person called in sick?? This staff really is the worst and as mentioned before there is ZERO communication between the and even worse customer service.

At my recent visit, I raised clear concerns about elevated blood glucose and symptoms pointing to…read moreprediabetes. I explained why HbA1c alone isn't reliable and specifically requested fasting glucose and fasting insulin to calculate HOMA-IR. We talked about this in detail--there was no ambiguity. After that, I had to go to the lab three separate times just to get incomplete testing done. The first two times, nothing was ordered or ready. To remedy this, I sent Patient Portal messages, made many phone calls over several hours worth of telephone calls, and wrote hand written notes to the clinic, always getting back confirmation that everything is been taken care of, when it actually hadn't been. On the third visit, only half of the HOMA-IR was ordered--just fasting glucose, no insulin. This defeats the point of the test. After following up again and being told the clinic would contact the lab to run the insulin from the existing sample, I then received a note saying the insulin test was "not medically necessary." This is absurd. If the test was unnecessary, why wasn't that said upfront, before I wasted time on multiple lab visits and follow-up calls? Why agree to order it, then reverse course after the fact? This entire process has been chaotic, dismissive, and a waste of time. I was proactive, informed, and clear in my communication. What I got in return was poor coordination, zero accountability, and indifference.
