On a trip back home from Boston to Canada, our diesel car started to have trouble with the engine. It was the Thanksgiving long weekend and all shops and mechanics were closed. We called Unitech and they came in to the shop on a Sunday evening, even though they were closed, and helped right away. Both Ed and Phil were knowledgeable and extremely friendly and helpful, and truly provided amazing service. After all the trouble they went through, they refused payment, saying only that we should pay the good deed forward in future. The following day, Ed called to check in and make sure that we made it home safe. Truly exceptional service that makes you feel that you are being treated like family. When I had a big job that needed to get done, I called them first. What blew my mind is that the shop I always go to wanted over a crazy amount of money to fix my clutch. I told them I would buy the part( about 300$) and asked them about their installation. The other guys quoted me 1500$ for labor on my car. I was floored by the dishonesty. They basically were saying it would be 15 hours of labor (not even close). So out of desperation I Yelp searches and found these guys! So I called them up and asked for a quote. They called me back about 30 minutes later and quoted me about 1300 WITH the parts and labor. They literally saved me over 500 bucks! They obviously could have tried to take me to the cleaners like that other garage, but this garage has integrity beyond all measure. I decided to really break down the numbers for you all just to show you how big of a savings they are. Now for the huge disclaimer. Every car and person is different. Will everyone save a massive amount of money? Probably not, but you can trust these guys to be fair. The only downfall to this place is they got some oil, gas, or something tracked into my car. The interior really stuck for about a week before it cleared out. Other than that, these are my new guys!
