Have previously brought my Audi here for tires, as local and prices for tires are very competitive plus GMC rebates if I used my CC. (NO LONGER AVAILABLE). The service at GMC is poor. Non responsive. I let management know and switched my Audi tire service to their Ford team, which is excellent and highly recommended. Recent situation new tires only have 20K miles on them. Filed a warranty issue. No call backs, no feedback. Called again told parts is addressing it and will get back to me. No call backs. Called again left a voice message for parts, still no call backs. Interesting, why bother recording your phone calls if management does NOT monitor the calls! Guess their GM is too busy doing commercials with sports people to care about the "actual and existing" customer! Ps NYE Auto is no longer owned by the NYE family. They were sold off, but Buick GMC had issues and continues to have issues after the sale.

My wife and I went to Tony Rotella's shop today for a NYS Inspection. Checked in at one of their…read moreservice desks without any waiting. Very nice guy took care of us quickly and showed us the comfortable waiting area and he explained where the bathrooms were should we need them. Not long thereafter he came over to the waiting area to let us know that we were all set. We checked out with the same nice person (I should have gotten his name) paid for the inspection, and we were on our way. Both my wife and I were pleasantly surprised at the clean, comfortable waiting area, the large show room, and we observed that all staff were friendly and they obviously like working at Tony Rotella's. One of the most important things in any business setting is a great culture and they obviously have one and it shows. One other thing I wanted to share that I witnessed while waiting. I overheard one of the staff members on the telephone with what must have been an insurance company. This staff member was in a deep "professional" debate with the insurance company trying to convince them to pay for more for a body shop repair, so the customer didn't have to come out of pocket as much. It was nice to see one of Tony Rotella's staff members fighting for their customer's best interest. He was also very nice in how he was presenting his case, yet firm as well and would not back down. If I'm ever in that scenario, I want a guy like that fighting for my best interest as well. If we ever need body work done (and I hope, we don't) there is no other place I'd bring our car than Tony Rotella's after what I witnessed this morning. We'll also come back in the summer for new brakes and new tires as we've heard from several friends that they are great with that type of service and the pricing is very good as well.

Joe and David at Premier German/ Benwood Auto Parts absolutely blew me away with how well they…read moretreated me. I had a 2009 ML63 was being held hostage at Contemporary Motor Cars Inc. at 100 Oceanport Ave, Little Silver, NJ since April 2019. This dealership has since been caught making misleading and deceptive statements in order to have me pay them extra money. All done in an attempt to force me to pay over $12,000 for parts as well as a replacement transmission they stated in writing was needed. In short, I went to have a transmission control module re programmed for $330 and was overcharged with an email explaining a $3600 bill that was never agreed on. Dealership "So far we have booked a total of Parts and labor $3615.80 on this repair, because of the way we worked on the vehicle". Then being told I needed to pay more money for a new valve body and then another $7,000+ for a new transmission. Unbelievable situation for company such as Mercedes Benz to put a customer through. I spoke with Joe from Benwood Auto and ordered a 722.9 valve body as instructed by mechanic because I refused to pay $1500 from mercedes for a new part I knew was not needed. Joe sends it out to me and it arrives a few days later. Contemporary Motor Car's mechanic Dale, tells me it is incorrect. This is after I had taken screen shots in front of this mechanic to confirm it was the right valve body. I am just told it is too bad and I need to reorder the right part. I call Joe and give him new details about what is being requested. They find the next valve body and send it out immediately. Here was the shocker........ Joe did not want to charge me for the second valve body and told me he understood what I was going through with this situation. I was just asked to send back what ever valve body they did not use. The dealership kept my ML63 for several weeks and in the end, I had to pay them for work that they lied about performing. They ended up giving me back a car that was not operational. It drove perfectly before giving it to the dealership. When I got it back, I was told it needed a new transmission. I took it to get inspected by another transmission specialist, to find that the dealership had lied and the original valve body was in perfect working order, as was everything else Contemporary Motor Cars had stated in writing needed replacing. Total fraud!!!!!! So I was left with 2 valve bodies that have not been installed and are still in the boxes they arrived in. I was so grateful for Benwood Auto Parts help, that I sent both valve bodies back. They insisted on giving me a refund but I explained that for the amount of time and effort they gave me, I would not accept any refund. These guys paid for shipping on both valve bodies to be sent to me and then they paid for both to be returned. I have never seen customer service at this level and if you are looking to buy parts for your vehicle, I cannot recommend this company any higher. I ended up at B&T because my wife had recently brought her car to them for a repair because 5hey are a 2 minute walk from her job. She was happy with their work, so I felt comfortable enough bringing my car to them as well. I have had my car serviced by them several times and they always do a good job. Jeremy in the office is very friendly and will explain every thing that is going on with your vehicle to you. They're prices are reasonable. Still somewhat expensive, but what mechanic isn't? They are also usually able to get your car taken care or and ready for you pretty quickly, I've never had my car there longer than a day. On a trip back home from Boston to Canada, our diesel car started to have trouble with the engine. It was the Thanksgiving long weekend and all shops and mechanics were closed. We called Unitech and they came in to the shop on a Sunday evening, even though they were closed, and helped right away. Both Ed and Phil were knowledgeable and extremely friendly and helpful, and truly provided amazing service. After all the trouble they went through, they refused payment, saying only that we should pay the good deed forward in future. The following day, Ed called to check in and make sure that we made it home safe. Truly exceptional service that makes you feel that you are being treated like family.
