Every single time I have called, they make you feel stupid, cut you off, and question you. Ladies, you have ONE job and it's to help out the patients - not to belittle them and act like you're a know-it-all. For example, the last time I just called to schedule a sick appointment, the receptionist gave me an opening. I then followed up with a question, "oh, is there another time or doctor. I am happy going with whoever." She said, "HA. NO. Take it or leave it. This is a busy time of year." Oh. Ok. Thanks for that RUDE response. I'm livid.

If you name it, he's probably examined me for it or treated it. Now that technology has evolved (aka Symlin), he's referred me to another endo in this area, but prior to that, he was always up on the latest type 1 diabetes treatments, asking me if I wanted a pump again (I still don't... those things gave me the worst skin infections ever) and making sure I had access to the supplies I needed. He's a very kind, sympathetic doctor. There should be more like him.
