I developed a bad habit of going to the this fabric store for hours, then heading to Meritage for a meal and drinks. Truly, the cherry on top. Meritage was addictive. It was hard to break away from a place where the bartenders quickly learn your name (because they know everyone else's) and the food is stellar. Trust me when I say get the French Onion soup. If they've got the same chef (young black female with her brother turning out dishes in the back), you're in for a treat. They have daily specials and over-the-top desserts, so treat yourself. You won't regret it.

Instead of chips they charged five charges $10 each for no no explanation of what it was. We called several times there was always some excuse the person wasn't there that could handle it but we had to drive an hour back to deal with it so not happy. In the end I guess it all worked out that it was an extra trip and a lot of Hassle and if you weren't paying attention you would have definitely paid the extra money so watch your bill.

The driving range was also pretty cheap for buckets of balls - it would be a fun afternoon to bring the dads for driving range, the kids for mini golf and the moms can eat food and hang or enjoy the range as well. The food looked good, but we did not partake - the drinks were decently well priced - a can of beer 3.50 - a sway was 6 bucks. They have free concerts every now and then at their art installation, which is pretty cool, I also think it's cool how they do 5 buck Mondays. The staff was nice enough, my only complaint is the grass was a little overgrown, so we got ate up with chiggers and skeeters.
