First of all I have to say I Love Penn Station. The food for most part is always spot on. What I love about this location is that every single time I come in here they say hello to me by name and know my order to a T. I'm in here once a week, maybe once every two weeks but they always know my name and my order. This is called customer service folks. They are pretty pricey for a sandwich but it's well worth it. East coast subs. You can not beat a fresh grilled cheesesteak sandwich, fresh cut fries and fresh squeezed lemonade. We placed our order and the meal was ready in no time. It was good and hot. Burnt my tongue on the first bite. The cheese was melty and hung from the sandwich. The person taking our order was thorough and did not rush us. I was not sure about refills on our drinks, but I think they were free. I should of got one on the lemonade as it is so good. The staff is very friendly and they greet you when you enter and tell you to have a nice day when you leave. That's a little rare now a days. There was plenty of parking when we went. I tried to order dinner online and when I submitted the order something went wrong, and it said my order did not go through. I went to the store and ordered my food. Then I saw the charge on my credit card. I called the store and they said I picked up my order and then hung up on me. I will never buy from Penn Station again. Terrible experience. Guy was sweeping floor when I walked in. I knew for sure that someone else would service me. He stopped sweeping and took my order. He was pleasant, but Im thinking ok. He's not fixing the food so its ok. Well No... he walks over and starts to pull the paper to wrap my sandwich. I said "Hey..aren't you going to wash your hands?" I asked the lady who was cleaning the stove also "is he going to wash his hands." She looked at me and went back to the stove. I asked again amd He replied that he wouldnt touch my food but would use utensils. So instead he used napkins to grab all my food instead. I was APPALLED. I asked again and he says, oh yes.. that is a big deal here. I wont touch your food." This is disgusting when serving good. You sweep, wipe your nose and then wrap napkins around your hands to place food in the bag. This is NOT ok. There were 2 other employees there who didnt offer to help AT ALL. So on their menu it says any sub can be made into a salad, but doesn't say anything about an upcharge. I asked for a 6" chicken t made into a salad. When I looked at my receipt it said $7.50 a 6" sub is $5.50.... every sub shop I've been to charges for the size sub you get in a bowl. It was just the same filling as a chicken teriyaki on a plate of $1 a bag shredded lettuce. Not getting a bun should subtract money not add to it! read more

I have been a regular customer for 3 years, thoroughly enjoying every visit even if it sometimes was a little lack luster. Recently however, a new manager named Bart has entered the scene. Ever since he arrived I have noticed various negative changes around The Station. Employee morale seemingly low, crushed up fries being served, and browning lettuce on sandwiches. The man himself is quite rude, ignoring customer questions and trying to speed along the ordering process as much as possible, even while I am the only person in the store. He speaks in a gruff unfriendly voice and talks as though he is above the customers. I was very uncomfortable throughout the process of ordering my sandwich, which was simply abhorred upon recieving, with 3 banana peppers total and almost completely smothered by red onions. It's sad to think that such a nice place went downhill just because of one manager. Needless to say, this visit will be my last. I pray for the other employees and managers in that store. read more

Penn Station has long been a household favorite of ours. The last several visits, however, we were disappointed to see their bread is now more like a baguette than anything else. The subs used to be about 3-4 inches wide, but are now noticeably thinner, perhaps 2"at most. Guess cutting portions is one way to increase profits, but with Jersey Mike's and Firehouse Subs right up Hwy K, you'd think Penn Station would work on improving the product, not serving less food for the same price. read more

I wanted to find a really good sandwich shop, so we decided to give this place a try. Going in the first time at a a new place you have to figure out how they do their ordering. I ordered my husband's philly cheesesteak sandwich and then told them the rest of the sandwiches would be cold. I got them all hot. My kids did not want hot sandwiches. We took the order to go so I didn't know they were hot until we got home. Also, you can't order kids' subs without buying the whole kids meal. i am so disappointed in this penn station I used to go in and they greeted you and it reminded me of a local diner they knew me when I walked in the door. Now you hardly get greeted the sandwhiches have become over priced and they have messed my sub up last 3 times . they have a guy that has long hair that doesent wear a hair net and he has gotten it in my sub twice.
