I have visited several McAlister locations and this one seems to be my favorite. It's conveniently located near the corner intersection of mid Rivers Mall Drive in Mexico Road. The parking lot has disabled spots. They have a few tables outside, but most are inside. The staff is really friendly and they do a good job of keeping the place clean even when busy. I haven't eaten at a McAlister's in a while since rarely eat at chain restaurants but it's a cold day and soup sounded good. Ordered carry out online. The webpage is easy to navigate. My order was ready on time still hot when I got home. Everything was well wrapped to prevent spills. The kids meal of Mac n Cheese and Broccoli was enjoyed by my toddler granddaughter and my under the weather daughter said she would order the Chicken Tortilla Soup again. My Beef and Cheddar sandwich was also quite good. Prices are reasonable. Only $5 for a healthy kids meal. read more

I'm giving this a 3 stars because the people that wait on you is dry. So I ordered a large strawberry lemonade and it was over 5.00 with tax. Now they both in a container, but who knew an extra . 75 for a pump of strawberry.. That's just crazy ... I took my 5.00 lemonade and split it with my son . Most of my experiences at McAllister'su Deli have been positive. The food is good especially The New Yorker Deli sandwich. I also love their non- sweetened ice tea. Although both these items are some of my favorites, the cost is becoming so high, I just don't visit as often. But that can be said for most fast food establishments that have been around a while. Lunch from here was for filling the stale preparation of my baked potato was unique but also good at the same time I was unaware of olives being in a baked potato I would've asked for no olives. Other than that the staff is fairly friendly here the location fills up pretty quick so if you have a way of placing your order prior to arriving I would recommend doing so. I did not dine in I got my order to go being my first visit here and having other coworkers tell me that I should give it a try it was pretty decent. I just don't get it. They seem like a popular chain, and I've tried several sandwiches, salads and soups when forced to go along with people that want to eat here... but I don't see the appeal. Nothing I have ordered has been memorable or very flavorful. Tonight I tried the half spicy turkey melt & tomato bisque. The bread was dry, there was absolutely no spice and the "melt" seemed to occur in a microwave involving just the deli sliced turkey & cheese. I was hoping for a toasty melted sandwich with grilled bread, but what I was given was just disappointing. I love tomato bisque and theirs is not great. Too acidic and chunky. I am head over heels in love with this McAlisters the place is spotless & everyone who works her is extremely knowledgeable of all things McAlisters. The food is prepared in such a way that you know their aim is to spoil you rotten. I was undecided about writing this review because I did not want to share how devine this location is. When you find food this amazing and employees who care & are professional nope you don't want to share the place with others. I bring my family here yea my mother n law and my sister n law. September 11, I drove Big Sis to another doctor appointment. On the way home, we stopped here for lunch -- and arrived before the massive lunch crowd. YIPPEE!! She got a Reuben with a tomato-cucumber salad and unsweetened iced tea. I got a bowl of broccoli-cheese soup. You order and pay at the counter. They give you a number, you find a table, and they find you when your food is ready. It didn't take all that long for our food to come out. Absolutely wonderful! Aside from it being uncomfortably hot, inside. We ordered from the app from the table. The food arrived faster than we were even expecting, which was a good thing. Great food!! I love their savanna salad. As does my mom. I like that you can customize from the app. I also got the veggie chili, which I usually love, but this was super thick and had no flavor. I took it home and doctored it up a bit. My mom got the southwest chicken sandwich, also, and she loooved it! It was also a larger sandwich than I expected. Dressing and ingredients are sparse. The chili is my favorite, and great, but she was given a bowl, half filled. We even paid extra for the bowl and not the cup.
