Stopped for dinner tonight. Haven't been in there since they moved. Still very noisy. The Room was not full at all and it was very loud. I had their Ruben sandwich. I thought they present it nicely. The item was very dry. I had to ask for more 1000 island. The corn beef was cut too thick, I couldn't bite through it. The taste was good though. I got sweet potato Fry's with it which were great. My husband had a blue cheese burger and he said it was great. Another thing the bar didn't have ginger ale. The room was set nicely. The restrooms were clean and had handicapped stalls. This is one of our favorite, local to us, patios! Since moving to their new location, several years ago, the atmosphere has really been so much more inviting. We are big fans of their patio, since it's super spacious and they allow pups! Their food is always fantastic! I have never eaten something that wasn't a 10/10. Service is always top notch, as well. They are always pleasant, are sure to bring water out for our dog, and are constantly checking on us. Highly recommend their happy hour - the Jill in the Box tacos are their version of Jack in the Box tacos and are so yum! They also have a fantastic beer selection too! read more

We tried Shamrocks based on menu and reviews ... we were disappointed. Shepard's pie was way too salty and flavor was not good. "Philly Horseshoe" was covered in congealed velveeta cheese. The fries with blue cheese burger were good. Sad. Won't return. read more

We stopped by here around 5:30pm on a busy Saturday night, but this place is big and holds a ton of people so we were seated right away. There were a ton of TVs which was great since there was playoff football on so it was nice to watch the game while dining. Service was quick and attentive the whole night! We all got appetizers: Toasted Ravs: seemed store bought and not from scratch, but they were cooked well and tasted above average. Crab Rangoon Dip: the dip tasted all right but was not heated all the way through and the chips were not good IMO or stale??? This whole dish was a fail. Shamrock Pretzels: were the best by far, pretzels were soft and warm and went well with the beer cheese, but the cheese was not super warm so it cooled off quick. The main meals were average and none of them were something to write home about: Headliner Burger: a little plain tasting, not enough sauce and the burger was just not seasoned and was just boring. The Sham-Bowl: the dish as a whole looked great but ended up being dry and mundane; lacking taste. This dish was begging for gravy or seasoning to give it some life. The Chicken Finger Plate: fries were hot, but the chicken was a heavy batter and clouded the taste and aroma of the dish. Sorry to say, we just did not have anything great except for the pretzels being our favorite dish. read more

My friend and I had another great lunch at Shamrock's on their patio. This place really can't be beat for great burgers, great service in a pleasant atmosphere. The brat burger specials were really good. I couldn't believe how juicy the brat burgers were and the flavors were fantastic. If I were to nitpick, I would say that the three tiny onion straws on the burger was disappointing, I was expecting a nice tangled stack of onion straws and that didn't happen. My friend doesn't like onions so she asked for them on the side of her burger to give them to me and they literally gave her three tiny pieces of fried onion on a plate. LOL! Also, $17 for a burger with one side is a little steep. There are other items on the menu that are priced a little bit better but I would say the average price is $15-$20 per person. I visited this place with some friends, and since it was my first time, I was excited to check it out. It was a Friday around midday, so there weren't many people, which I didn't mind. The food was quite good; I really enjoyed my burger and fries. It was filling, and I'd rate it an 8.3 out of 10--definitely worth trying. The service was also good. Our server checked on us regularly while managing a couple of other tables at the same time. We received our food in a reasonable amount of time. It's a bar, Irish themed, barely, with $13 Guinness in a plastic cup. But it is in the heart of the action so what could you expect. It is attached to the hotel/casino so the prices are to be expected. Best bet is to sit at the table and gamble a little bit and get free drinks. read more

This was our second visit to Shamrocks and it didn't disappoint! Our waitress was quick and attentive. I got a French dip with chips, my husband got a burger with fries and our friends got a fiesta chicken wrap with fries and wings; all of which were delicious! We finished it off with the fried oreos, which were surprisingly fluffy rather than crispy (which was appreciated). I only remembered to take a photo of the pizza bread bites but wanted to add it since there isn't currently one and it's a newer item! I didn't expect this place to be so amazing i came here on a saturday night around 8 PM and wasnt very busy . The restaurant is clean, I like the darker lighting there is a nice vibe they have the bar side and a separate room thats more secluded and very nice. The food was great the sweet potato fries were amazing best fries ive ever had , which the very kind waitress did say they had the best sweet potato fries and she was not lying. Loved Shamrocks for years and years. The old location as good, new location is even better. We recently came here for my husbands office holiday party, we had the private space off to the side and it was perfect for the large group. Everyone was seated but there was still room to move around. I appreciated the way food was brought around several times in a variety of options. A friend suggested Shamrocks. I haven't been to their new location. I liked how large the bar area was when I walked in. We sat at the bar. Of course they had they typical Irish beer which I always enjoy. The bartender was attentive and friendly. I do wish they had the beer selection on an actual menu. It can be hard to read from across the bar on the TV screen. I was exited to see they feature an STL original the Red Hot Riplets in an appetizer. Started out sitting at the bar. My date had a margarita. He said it was excellent. The bartender was very attentive! Moved to a table when we were ready for dinner. Was in the mood for barbecue so was very pleasantly surprised when I saw they had pork steak on the menu. DELICIOUS!!!!! My date had the Bang Bang Shrimp Tacos. Doesn't really sound like something I would enjoy but he assured me I would like it. I tried it. The first bite there was a hint of a kick. Initially, I thought it was ok but nothing to write home about. About 10 seconds later the after burn kicked it. WOW!!! My mouth was on fire (this is an amazing thing for me lol). I stopped by Shamrocks on my own on a Friday night, it was around 9pm. It wasn't too busy and most of the folks at the bar were there to watch the Blues play, so the vibe was good. I ordered a couple of local beers and a Reuben sandwich. The sandwich was great, because aren't most Reubens great? The fries that came with it were too salty, but it wasn't too big a deal. The service was fine, but the place wasn't particularly Irish. Given the other stuff in St. Peter's, this seemed like a good spot. read more

First-Time Visit - Definitely Coming Back! This was our first time eating at this establishment, and it did not disappoint. I used their text-to-order service for pick-up, and the process was incredibly easy and efficient. As I pulled into the parking lot, I noticed how well-maintained and inviting the building looked. Upon entering, I was greeted by a very friendly waitress. I let her know I had a pick-up order, and she quickly found my name and returned with our food, all neatly bagged and ready to go. The food was excellent--prepared exactly how we ordered it. I went with the Headliner burger and fries, while my lady had the buffalo chicken wrap with onion strings. We rented the room at Shamrock's for a birthday party and I cannot have been more pleased. We selected several items to be served buffet style and everything was hot and delicious. Everyone that attended expressed their pleasure with everything. I must also commend our server, Nate. I was a bit apprehensive when he said he would be our only server, but he was all over it. He remembered everyone's drinks and it took was a nod of the head and he was off getting a new one. I highly recommend you give it a try read more

My family and I used to love this establishment. Today that has ended. We used to frequent here back when they were off of veterans memorial, but since they've moved we have not gone as frequently. Today we went for dinner to go back to the once loved establishment we used to frequent. We were sat without any trouble, but once our drinks were ordered the atmosphere changed. We put in an order of pretzels. Unfortunately, 15 min passed by and no pretzels had found their way to our table. Our drinks began to run dry, and another 15 min passed by still without any pretzels. Once our drinks were dry to the bone and we still hadn't ordered our food, we solemnly left our table in disgust. We had to relocate to another establishment. My main complaint was the discomfort from my server, Nate, who apparently didn't have an indoor voice. He was so loud that it was painful every time he spoke. The loaded wedges were very good. Crispy on the outside fried perfectly with plenty of cheese of bacon. Skimpy on the sour cream and was charged for more. Which it fine, but would have been nice to know about the charge before getting the bill. Hamburger was nice size and had good grilled flavor. Onion straws crispy and breaded nicely. While my chicken pot pie wins the presentation award for smiling at me, the flavor was overall lacking and the chicken and sauce itself was luke warm, not piping hot like the rest of the food. Came here for a quick dinner with a friend. Our server was friendly and attentive. The food came out quick. I got the Irish nachos and the bee sting shrimp appetizers as my meal. The nachos were loaded up nicely and super yummy! I was most excited for the shrimp but they were way too spicy for my taste. It tasted more like hot sauce to me than the hot honey that was on the menu. My friend got the chicken fiesta wrap and said it was good! We came on a day that they were doing trivia, it sounded super fun. I wish we had known about it in advance and planned to play, maybe next time!
