B/c of what my insurance covers, I get to pick out 2 pairs of glasses for free, and TRUST me, they have such a NICE collection for me to pick from. After I pick what glasses I want, they do all the measurements etc., then a friendly goodbye..lol and I'll jus be excitingly waiting for my new pairs of glasses within that same week, if not that same week..it'll be 2-3 days I'll receive them within the next week.

Found this doctor on my insurance website and they were taking new patients with same day…read moreappointments. Made an appt for 130, arrived at 115 and was finally taken to a room at 217. Doctor came in about 10 mins later for a 8 min consult. Office is old, the artwork is old and the people in the waiting room are old. Long story short, pretty good Doctor but expect to wait. Same story with my follow up visit. Waited in the waiting room for over an hour. Janice at the front desk is very nice and efficient.

This was my first time at this location. Getting there was a little difficult because when I walked…read morein the building (mercy hospital 54th st side) there was no security nor receptionist. There was a sign saying to go to the first floor so that I can speak with someone. When I arrive on the 1st floor I ask where the eye associates office is. He looked at me like I had 5 heads. At this point I'm thinking I am in the wrong place because it was clear he had no idea what I was talking about. I then called the office and they told em they were located in the building and which suite number. When I got off the phone the receptionist said he'd found the office, but still managed to give me the wrong suite number. I called and had the information, so I smiled and said thank you. When I walked into the office it was quite small. I could see the staff behind the window. They all seemed very jovial, which is something I like to see. It always makes for a better experience. When I finally signed in I saw their back office in a disarray. Papers were everywhere. I mean stacks and stacks of papers everywhere your eyes moved. This made me a bit nervous. I'm a germaphobe. The fact that I knew they were about to check my eyes and this is what the from office looked like...I cringed at the thought of the physician room. When I went in the physicians room it was what exactly what I thought. Messy. The assistant wiped all the equipment, and she was so friendly and informative. The room was an eye sore. When the doctor came in, he honestly is the best doctor I've seen. I have an eye disease and he had told me the most about it, and also suggested I see an cornea specialist. He called for me and set up my appointment. This is the third eye doctor I've seen. He's been the best...but the office was just a hot mess. Besides that I'd suggest this place.

Everyone was very pleasant and nice. I was kind of annoyed that both doctors do an almost identical eye exam. Oh and my notice for work isn't on the office letterhead. I won't return. I went because of proximity to my house. I'm now willing to travel. The pleasant staff isn't enough to override all the negatives. PS: I don't have any eye issues so I can't rate the effectiveness of their ability to treat/diagnose eye diseases. I just wear glasses for long distance.

The front desk staff and doctor were very sweet about getting me in and out quickly and made me feel comfortable doing the exam while baby-wearing. I would definitely return.

He has to be one of, if not tbe rudest medical professional ( I use that term loosely) that I ever met. I brought someone with me for support on my last appointment and he spent a good portion of my time talking about how big my friend was and the fact that he didnt have a scale in the office strong enough to weight him. He actually suggested both us join the biggest loser so we can be famous. All of my experiences in this office have been embarrassing or frustrating, if you do decide to try this doctor I hope you have a better experience than me. Good luck!
