Everything in here was so cute, the quality of all the goods was very high, it felt very Michigan and of Traverse City without being a copycat of anything else. It is fully itself. Everything in here was something that I would wanna wear at any point in my life. We got so many stickers and souvenirs for our friends and family because we loved it. It's the best souvenir store in all of Traverse City. And the cherry on top was Nick. Nick was the most personable and amazing store clerk we have ever met. He was happy to hear our stories, share his own, and give us his feedback. Nick should have a raise. We love Nick. Everything about this store was made better by the fact that Nick was working here- and it was already a great store. 100% recommend, everyone who visits Traverse City should visit this store and Nick should get a raise. Thank you!

We always hit Cherry Republic (which is down the street) and then, while my husband let's the kids run around in the (beautifully redone) park across the street - I head to Imagine That to take it all in. The place inspires in me what my husband refers to the "Target-Thousand-Yard Stare" - which apparently the look I get on my face when I browse the aisles of Target, child free. (You know what I'm talking about, fellow moms ;). The shop is beautifully curated. You know that whoever does the buying for this place puts a tremendous amount of heart into the items they select. There are seasonal items like graduation gifts, Mother's/Father's Day presents, and even Christmas ornaments that are perfect souvenirs to remind you of beautiful Glen Arbor in all its summertime glory when you're putting up your Christmas tree in December. They have home decor, coffee table books and a nice selection of candles. They also carry beautifully designed jewelry and a stylish selection of scarves. Imagine That is a small shop, but with its charm and splendor of goods - I always manage to get lost. :).

Very lovely shop. This was the first store we ended up stopping at in downtown Petoskey today…read more A few of their coasters and artwork is from City Bird in Detroit too, which was funny - I have been there before (and that's a nice shop as well). I bought a corgi pin for $2 here (I love corgis) and wanted some of the prints/artwork too, but they were a bit pricey. They also have earrings/jewelry and a nice selection of Petoskey and non-Petoskey related gifts. The only reason I'm giving it 4/5 stars and not 5/5 is because they obviously have a bathroom, and it says OUT OF ORDER, but my guess is that it's not (where else would the employees go?) and perhaps that's COVID-related ... which is fine, but maybe just put EMPLOYEES ONLY instead. We went next door to Grandpa Shorter's and the employee there recommended the public bathrooms to us, so we took a bit of a hike down the street to the lake instead (pro tip: next time just go next door to the bookstore, they have one in the basement!). So yeah, I was a bit disappointed by that ... I could be totally wrong on this speculation but I've seen other businesses do that too. Other than that, very nice shop and they have super cute stuff, so I'd return next time I'm in Petoskey.

As you enter you will encounter all things cherry as there are many different foods, drinks, and other items for purchase. It may feel a little overwhelming with the amount of things in the store! The staff member who served us was knowledgeable and informative. Both of the wines I got were delicious! My SIL & BIL just bought a new house so they were excitedly exploring all the decor, particularly garden decor, for their new abode. My husband's niece also recently got her first house and she excitedly picked out several cute things for her yard like the stone owls and a couple of other pieces. While everyone was browsing outside I popped inside and saw the most gorgeous embroidered chair. It was blue with orange birds and flowers all over it. I showed it to my husband who also loved it and urged me to get it. "That is an Annette chair if I've ever saw one" he said. Alas, we are due for getting some repair work done around our house so I balked at the price and said "maybe next time!" And stepped away from the chair with a longing look. Hah. I didn't leave empty handed tho! I picked up a cute solar grasshopper figurine to add to my garden and a golden fox statue for indoor decor. Anyway, I left the shop to go browse down the street and long story short, my in-laws were sneaky and bought me the chair as a surprise gift!! I was floored by their generosity and tried to argue, but the deal was done so I accepted the gift with the kindness intended. Now, between me, my husband, my mom, three dogs and all our luggage we had zero room in our car for the chair so my sneaky in-laws also arranged delivery with the shop. A day or two after we got back home I got a call and text from the gallery letting me know the owner himself was going to be in our town the next day and had the chair with him for delivery. I was surprised and impressed that they did their own delivery (not sure what I expected but wasn't white glove service by the owner to our house 4.5 hours from them!) My husband greeted him at the door and the chair was delivered in all its beautiful glory. So yeah, this store is great for unique decor both small (cute stone owls) to large (a beautiful embroidered chair) and everything in between. Now I just have to figure out the right place to put it bc this is a chair that demands to be seen!
