DO YOUR RESEARCH I would not recommend bringing your kids to this school! The Directors are all rude and money hungry. When I heard about Penny Lane I was very excited to have my kids start. What really won me over where the hours. I work weird hours so that was perfect. When I inquired about the tuition they only gave me their flat out weekly rate. I informed them that I will be receiving child care initiative and needed to know the price. All they told me was that I was just responsible for my Co-Pay. Well that was not the case! On their first day I paid the Copay and two days later I got a letter stating how much my tuition was going to be. I was shocked when I saw the price. It was WAY more than expected. When I Spoke to the financial person in charge all she told me was you signed a paper stating that you will pay it. It was very back and forth there was never a number discussed other than the copay. So that right there prompted me to look for a different daycare. Second red flag where the teachers. My son is two and he would cry every single day that we parked into the daycare. His teacher was never comforting towards him, or caring. She would just say let's go and he would continue to cry. We NEVER had that happen at his previous daycare. On our first day my son's teacher actually told me he couldn't have his bottle in the class and that I had to take it back home. Shouldn't a teacher be trying to make his feel comfortable with the transition? Even though he doesn't use it all the time it should be all about making him comfortable. Also, there were many times when his diaper was put on wrong. It was either with his thing sticking out from one side, or one of his butt cheeks out of his diaper (and no he never plays with his diaper). With my daughters teachers I never had a problem with. The only thing I didn't like was that for neither one of them they will put their jackets on or sweater or clean them up. I always had to get them read outside their classrooms. When they really got me was when I told them that I was going to take them out I called to find out the procedure (on the handbook it says a two week notice) one of the front desk girls told me either I had to let her know or talk to the financial department. Since I was already on the phone with her I decided to speak to her and she said I didn't need a two weeks' notice that it could be effective immediately. Again that was not the case! Once I called the financial department they said I had to pay for the full week's tuition when they were only going to be there one day. Again there was a lot of back and forth they she kept telling me that was my responsibility to pay. I am all for paying for the day that my kids are there, not the whole week that they are not. I'm taking them out because it's expensive and they want me to continue to pay for not having them there that is ridiculous. They need to work on their communication and come up with more logical answers than it's in the handbook. Needless to say I will never be going back there again. read more

My son has been at Penny Lane since he was an infant and I wouldn't change my decision bringing him here. While the first few months were very rough and actually took him out of Penny lane for a little while, we promptly brought him right back. We would get sick every week when he was an infant there but quickly realized that it was because he was around other children and that is what children do. Upon bringing him back, he has learned so much. While I always did not agree with every policy or procedure of the school, I know that he is well taken care of while he is there. The staff there have become our second family and would not change that for the world. He feels safe there and I never have to worry about him when he is in Penny Lane's care. His teachers have always showed him love and care. His vocabulary is outstanding for that of his age and I owe it all to the knowledge that he has gained at Penny Lane. We might actually keep him at Penny Lane for Kindergarten because it has been such a positive influence on him I am actually sad that he will have to leave to go to 1st grade. read more

My son has been attending Penny Lane since he was 3 months old. Now six years later, I am just as happy as I was the day he started. He has learned so much attending the school and his teachers have always made themselves available whenever I needed to speak with them in regards to concerns I had about my son. When dropping him off I am always greeted and acknowledged never ignored. Its nice to know that the teachers and staff make it a point to get to know the children in there care and treat the children with the love that they deserve. When my son was ready to go to Kindergarten I chose to send him to a private school instead of Penny Lane. What a mistake. I never felt comfortable with his teacher and didn't sense the warm atmosphere I recieved at Penny Lane. Needless to say he transferred back to Penny Lane before the school year was halfway over. Overall, I feel Penny Lane is a great choice for a school. The front office staff is always available to answer questions and when I leave my son for the day I know that I'm leaving him in good hands. read more

Penny Lane is wonderful! My son is now 3 yo, and has been attending since he was an infant. As a first time parent, I initially called and requested updates more than I would like to admit, but everyone I talked to has always been pleasant and understanding. I've slowed down with the phone calls, as my trust grew with his care. Their communication is great, and I receive a phone call whenever anything happens (bump, scratch, scrape). The teachers are outstanding, and seem to genuinely care. If my son is having a rough day, there is always someone there to greet him with a hug. I can't say enough good things about this place. I'm grateful to have found this place for my son. I saw the review on 11/1/2017, and couldn't disagree more. The fees are straightforward, and I have always received a prompt reply to any billing question I have had. Daycare, by anyone's definition is a financial challenge, but this place is worth it. read more

My daughter and I just love Penny Lane!!! I was very skeptical having to put my child into a day care at such a young age. I had looked at many day cares in the area and just fell in love with the atmosphere and the staff at Penny Lane. My daughter has exceeded my expectations for being in day care in such a small amount of time, she has just learned so much. The teachers at Penny Lane teach, support, and excite the children about learning. I have had a few small issues in the year and a half that my daughter has attended Penny Lane and all of them were solved and spoken about the SAME DAY! I have read a lot about how parents believe that the tuition is too high and all I can say is that you get what you pay for. Every morning when I drop my daughter off I know she is in good hands and every day we walk out smiling! I would and have recommended Penny Lane to anyone looking for a great day care!!! read more

Penny Lane School has been the best choice for my family. Good childcare is difficult to find. The way I see it, you get the care that you pay for. It's hard to trust someone else with your babies while you're away at work but with the care that Penny Lane provides it makes your work day easier know they are in great hands. My experience with Penny Lane has been extremely positive. My daughter has attended since she was 11 weeks old. She is still there at 2.5, along with my 8 month old son. The teachers and other staff members have great communication skills and always inform the parents of accident reports, upcoming events and how the child's day went. The environment is extremely welcoming, bright, and clean. It's the perfect facility to nurture and keep your children safe. I would highly recommend Penny Lane to anyone looking for early childcare! read more

We love it here! My daughter has been going here for just over 2 years now. I can see the bond that she has made with some of the teachers and her friends, even after she moves to a new room. So many of the teachers know her name even though they are not her teacher. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. I love hearing the stories about her day when I pick her up. Some days she doesn't want to leave because she is having so much fun and she doesn't want to miss out. She has learned so much and I'm amazed when she says or does something new out of the blue. I have had 2 sons attend this center and I wouldn't take my kids anywhere else! My 13 year old still loves coming here for summer camp and my 4 year old asks every night "Where are we going tomorrow after breakfast?" When I answer "Penny Lane" he always gives a big "Yes!" cheer. That says a lot since he was rather anti social when he started as a toddler. My children have been at Penny Lane for 12 years. Penny Lane has been an excellent experience for them. They have learned to be independent, how to get along well with other children, and even have been taught spanish! The school has taught them to take pride in themselves and in their work. I was always against children being in daycare but after putting my two youngest in Penny Lane, Im a firm believer now that the daycare experience has taught them to be better individuals. read more

This place is GREAT the staff there make your kids feel right at home. Always so friendly when you walk in know matter what time of day it is. The teachers in the 3 year old preschool room are so nice and truly care about the little ones that they watch day in and day out.
