Once I saw his work I knew he was the one I wanted to photograph our "kids". First off Clarabel, a rescue and our youngest is not usually too keen on men. She becomes nervous and barky when males are around. Foxy isn't that big of a fan either but both of them warmed up to Mark immediately. He must be the dog whisperer of pet photographers. So that is a talent in itself.... Then there are his photos. My goodness. What beautiful work he does. After sending several messages trying to find a compromise, she stopped responding. The next week she contacted me again. I expressed that I wouldn't feel comfortable with her because of her inability to communicate with me in a timely manner and her communication was lacking in professionalism. Her response was that I was not her client and therefore she didn't feel the need to get back to me as quickly. I was very confused by this, as I would never commit to a photo shoot with a photographer who isn't able to respond to me in a timely manner. This was family photo shoot that many of us were traveling to the Dallas area for. Our dates weren't flexible and it was important to me to find someone who could ensure that it would be a smooth process. All in all I felt Lucy was unable to provide time with the level of service I expect. Furthermore, after ending our conversation, she continued to harass me through text message until I asked her to stop. If you are planning to book a photographer please look elsewhere! I am not sure if this if her normal work ethic, if I had done something to offend her, or if she was having a bad week. Regardless of the reason, her attitude was very off putting and her professionalism was lacking.

Don't get me wrong the place is great and the ambience and the photographer was amazing in 15 mins he captured an amazing picture of my dog. BUT I will say even though I had a good experience in that aspect it doesn't mean I agree at all with this Bait tactic. Seems like the purpose is to trick you into thinking you won but so does a ton of other people... I think that how they keep in business. Once you're there you realize all pictures are overpriced. You only get one "free" photo you still have to pay 20+ dllrs for shipping and it's only a physical picture that takes about a month to be delivered (also a $100 deposit is needed to save your spot but I did end up getting my refund shortly after thank goodness). If you want any digital pictures and or frames is a ridiculous amount of money which if that's In your budget that's great! Im grateful for the one picture I got. As for me I won't be coming back I feel like the approach and pushiness for you to buy and trick you is ETHICALLY WRONG and horrible BAIT tactic.
