Have been doing business with them for years, and they allways get me in and out fast and don't try to sell me unneeded things like other Quick Lube places. The also have great prices on tires, WAY less installed than "tire centric" repair shops. If i need something more than an inspection or oil change, they offer me a ride home so i don't have to wait around the shop or get a taxi. read more

Absolutely unacceptable. I made an appointment to have my car inspected. After an hour of waiting I was asked to reschedule due to call offs. Fine, it happens. I scheduled it again for the next Saturday morning. Arrived, waited, and was told by the lone employee that he wasn't licensed to do inspections. He was aware I was on the schedule but couldn't get a hold of the person who was supposed to be in. Twice I woke up early on a weekend to get this done and I have nothing to show for it. Won't go back. $75 oil change, never checked the air filter or tire pressure. They don't Vacuum or do windows or top off other fluids. I left feeling I over paid for 5 quarts of oil and a filter. I miss Jiffy Lube in Richland. read more

They wasted a whole lot of my time and money, and managed to not accomplish what I'd gone for. I went for a state inspection (visit #1) and was told that I'd need to come back to have something fixed. I made an appointment and that was fine. I came for visit #2, and was told that the mechanic was going to be late. I waited around for a bit, but then was told that he wasn't coming at all, so I'd have to reschedule. I did, no problem. I came for visit #3, and they fixed the problem, but told me that something else was wrong that would take a while to fix, so I'd have to come back another time when they had planned for it. I'd sat in their waiting chairs during this time, and the guy I was talking to didn't seem to like that, so he told me to make sure someone could pick me up and drop me off next time, though I insisted that I didn't mind sitting in the chairs, reading. I told him that my husband couldn't miss work for this, and he said that as long as I was there early, he could have someone drop me off and pick me up. I thought this was odd, but I was okay with it. I came for visit #4 early (I'd made an appointment and told him I'd be there at 8am, and they open at 9am, so whenever someone was available they could drive me home). People came out and informed me that they didn't open until 9. I explained that we'd made an appointment for 8am because someone was going to drive me home, and I was treated like I was an idiot. They guy who'd talked to me about it was there and just stared blankly, but I didn't want to get him in trouble, so I didn't point out who he was. The lady who was giving me a hard time for both showing up before they opened and expecting a ride said that she had an errand to run, anyway, and took me home, to pick me up later. She was very nice in the car, though. Also, they had lost my phone number or something (though they'd obviously had it before with all of this back and forth) and had to call my insurance company, then bother my husband at work, to get to me. I was told that they'd done the smoke test and replaced a hose, but that they weren't sure that it was really fixed and if the check engine light came back on right away, just to bring it back and that they would have a look at it for free. Of course, the check engine light did come on again in the next day. I had expected this to be a one or two-time visit, and I was now heading for visit #5. Each of these times I was missing work. I was out of town for a while and had work that I couldn't miss, naïvely thinking once again, "It's only this one visit, then it will be done and over with," so it took a while for me to get back for this visit. I made an appointment, being very clear that it would take a good part of the day as they'd have to re-do the smoke test and fix whatever was wrong. I showed up at 9am and the guy I saw instructed me to park beside the building, leave my key, and fill out a form with my name, number (good idea!), and what was wrong with the car. I asked if I could explain it to him instead, because it was complicated. He said that was fine, so I did explain it, then jotted a couple of notes about what needed to be done so he'd remember. A few hours later (1pm?) I still hadn't heard from them, so I called to check the status. They had forgotten about my car and hadn't looked at it yet. They said they would, and I called back a couple of hours later. They guy was at least honest and said he hadn't gotten to check out exactly what was wrong, but he had a laundry list of things that he could tell had problems. I told him that I had passed except for this one thing. Then, they added another. Now he had a list? In like 8 weeks? (Remember there are 5 visits in there over this time) His response to me was that 2 months was a long time, so it would need to be re-inspected. I asked what I had to do, and he said that it would have to be another day, so I'd just need to pick it up. To be fair, he was very pleasant talking about all of this. I realized, after I hung up, that he was totally just starting this process all over again, and I called to ensure they stop and not do anything, since I would obviously be better off going somewhere else. When I went to pick up my car, I was charged for it being looked at again, even though I had previously been told it would be free, since it should have been fixed at the previous visit. The mechanic was very rude and unhelpful, though the young guys working around him were very very nice and helpful in figuring out who I'd spoken to before, and putting up with my general crankiness. The manager and/or owner was moving, and the owner and/or manager was helping with the move, according the the mechanic (who first identified himself as a manager, though he wasn't). I was told to call with any issues in a couple of days when the manager would be back in. read more

Pennzoil Express Repair is great at all mechanical work. I have brought my car here for the past 2 years and they have serviced 2 different vehicles of mine and have done all mechanical repairs that required skill. I have had a clutch issue fixed, radiator replaced along with a timing belt and of course, routine brakes, alignment and oil changes. There labor and part prices are reasonable. The guys are courteous and efficient. I would not take my car anywhere else. read more

Will not go back here and I advise other people not to go back. This place is a joke. I was getting an inspection and emissions done. They told me I needed something fixed and to call back on Monday. I called Monday to make an appointment and they said come in on Wednesday or Friday. I said I would come in on Friday. I arrived at the appointment only to be told they are behind in work and can't fix my car. I took off an entire morning to do this and they never called me to say they couldn't do the work. I came from all the way across town for this. They told me to come back the following week to get it looked at. Absolutely NOT. Unprofessional. This is why people extra money to go to their car dealers. The service and customer service is absolutely terrible here. read more

Avoid this place like the plague! Went down to have my power steering pump replaced and ended up getting charged for a new pulley and belt as well. The pulley they dinged up trying to remove it and the belt had a cut in from their lack of care in removal. A quoted bill was doubled because of their careless behavior and my vehicle was in their garage for 3 days when it was quoted to be there less than 1 day. Less than a week after them replacing the pump my vehicle is back in the shop because my power steering hoses blew ... coincidence? Maybe ... but I will never go back to this branch. read more

I really waited for an hour for an oil change here. While other cars were flowing in and out of the bay next to me, I waited in the sun for an hour. They will not take you first come first served. No one approached my car for 20 minutes, then only to tell me it will be about 15 mins. 25 minutes later, I left in frustration still sitting on the blacktop. My advice. Go to the Jiffy Lube in Aspinwall. It is a 5 min. drive away. Save yourself the 45 mins. read more

this place is a scam i went for a simple oil change 29.99 . they tried charging me $54 . i argued the price. they said they topped of all my fluids. when i got home i checked fluids they were never even touched. and the never replaced my oil filter. i went back right away and te tech agreed he never did. can you just imagine how many oil filters they never change. read more

Completely incompetent. Repaired my motor mount. Charged me $800. The new mount they installed broke off after several months. The guy who worked on it, Brendan, told me that he wasn't responsible because the screws they installed broke and didn't back out. Really? They are not responsible for using bad screws? I took the car to a real mechanic after this, who fixed the mount for a lot less money. read more

Went in today for a radiator flush. Found them online for 49.95. When it came time to pay it was 99.00..needed a pressure cap and it was 66.00 wasn't asked if I wanted then to get it...I would have bought one myself...all in all was charged 300!!!!!! STAY AWAY!!!! The owner is a CROOK! Alternator they installed failed after 6 months. We took it back and they agreed to fix at no charge but of course found muttiple other problems. A broke hose leaking fluid, really??? The car is parked in our driveway and there was no signs of any leak until we took it there again. Also he said the one cylinder is missfiring and we needed some $70 part. Unreal! Found out it was the coil pack. He wanted to charge $250 to fix one coil pack. I bought all four coil packs online for $70 and it took about 2 mins to install each one. We will never ever go to this place again. They also stripped the threads on the engine cover and put the allen head screw in so tight that it was really really hard to get out. I think they were mad we said don't do the work we will fix it ourslelf. What idiots! read more

This is the place to go if you are looking for honest car service. Alex, Josh and the crew are friendly, explain everything in terms even i can understand. They go above and beyond what you expect. Case in point, took my 2007 Honda Odyssey in making g a strange noise. Didnt have a ride back home, Alex drove me home, then came and got me at the end of the day and then did it all again. It was their suggestion! I was supposed to take it back the very next day but had an emergency and so took it back the day after that and Alex drove me home and then came and got me. Didnt need the added expense of a rental car! He quoted my husband a price and even though it ended up being a little more, he had forgotten to add 2 parts, we only paid the quoted price. I HIGHLY recommend you visit this shop! You wont be disappointed! Plus they have a cute bulldog named Titan around! Oh and they have a free pop dispenser and coffee and tea! read more
