This is not ideal in these really hot temperatures. I'm not sure how you can prevent this, maybe call and try to talk to a person if possible or maybe go into the physical office to secure the vehicle for the day and time you need it. Their customer service person for complaint resolution is exceptional, that's what the three stars are for, her. She actually deserved 5 +, but I wanted to be sure folks were prepared for the problems.

So a $71.00 repair became a $17.00 repair. He could have kept doing what we thought we needed and put in a whole new wiring system, but he truly listened and did what he knew we needed. Even though their price is not the lowest, BUT... It'll save you a lot of trouble the day you move. Most other companies have issues getting the truck you reserve, and I understand, sometimes, it's due to other renters returning their rentals late... But Penske did a really good job planning for a vehicle for me. They called about 5 days before and again couple days before I was due to pickup the truck. Monroe was very helpful and answered all my questions with professionalism and a smile. He did not try to sell me anything I didn't want or need. He even offered to show me the vehicle prior to move day as I was afraid of driving a truck I didn't need to sf. I highly recommend their service

I waited in 25 minute line and got to counter and some kid named Nicco was dispatching my reserved van to a "walk in" customer which had no reservation. It wasn't overbooked, it was given away to customer at the next counter. After wasting nearly a half hour I had to drive to another location in Roseville to get a van. And I found that Uhaul software even warns the rep that this vehicle is NOT available since it's reserved and the rep would have to click and accept to bypass that warning to give to someone else. So while I'm on time, in line for my reservation, Nicco bypassed that warning and give it to customer in front of me. Completely mismanaged operation with no accountability, this is why yelp and google have this location in 2 stars to 3 stars range, buyer beware DO NOT go to this location. I learned my lesson.

The guy put down what he was doing and immediately walked me outside to handle the situation. He filled up both tanks and asked me if I wanted to Pay at the pump. I said, "sure, save me a trip inside." He took out a cell phone, got my card, entered the info, and asked me if I wanted a receipt. I declined the offer. He thanked me, I thanked HIM, and I left. That transaction took all of about Nine or Ten minutes and I was on my way to light up my patio heaters. Great Service, Great Location, (four minutes from my home). We rented a vehicle for a few hours. The rate was .49 per mile because we rented it at 100 miles estimated. When we check the vehicle back in we had only used about 55 miles. The person checked us in at the higher mileage rate and when I told him that the total was incorrect he didn't know how to correct the error. He told me that he had already checked it out so he couldn't change it because he didn't know how. I contacted another employee who said she would notify the GM would correct it when she came in to work the next day. The GM never corrected it. I filed a dispute with my credit card company and reached out to the office. The same guy that "helped" me w/ the return of the vehicle answered the phone. I asked for the GM (who wasn't in) or Sharon. The employee stated she was helping another customer but he would go get her, which I found strange. A minute later he comes back to the phone and says "She's really, really busy with a customer so I'll write down your number and she'll get back with you." I confirmed he had the number but he never asked for my name or if he could help me. Instead he said, "She'll call you back." I told him I wonder if she'll be able to guess my name when she calls back and then I hung up. I later communicated with Sharon and she said she corrected the issue. We'll see if it corrects. Considering up until this time, we've had great experiences, the jury is still out on whether we will use this location in the future.
