The woman working today (Ashley) was incredibly rude when we asked basic questions about getting a notary completed. Her attitude is terrible. I also saw her interacting with other guests who had a question about shipping a package with passive aggressive comments. Music was blaring and it made it hard for us to hear her. Dirty place with rude irresponsible employees and owner. The "manager" who operated my fingerprints sent it to the wrong number (upon checking with DOJ they specifically told me that). I took the email from DOJ to the store to show them. All the manager would say was "Your fingerprints were shown as sent", refusing to refund, resend my fingerprints to the right agency, or even apologize for her mistake. When I asked her to take accountability and address the issue, she kept ignoring me on purpose. Then she finally told me to wait for an hour for the owner to call me, which never happened. Do not go there unless you want your package or important documents messed up by some stupid punks who have zero work ethic. To the business owner: hire someone decent with the proper manners and intellectual level next time. Do NOT copy your nonsense generic reply under each review. Fix your practice instead! read more

I came here 8/7 to ship a gift that included a drink, treats and a sealed envelope. When the package arrived to the recipient the envelope was opened and he didn't receive any of the food we sent. I'm so upset that someone would purposely steal these items and attempt to steal whatever was in the envelope. I won't be back to this location and reported it to UPS. read more

I have been going here for years. A red haired lady was so rude. Have no idea her name. She said she tried to explain something to me but ended up walking away, stating I am not listening. I was listening and heard her but I didn't understand and needed to know the next move. All either girls had to say is where I should go. The UPS store further up foothills blvd. I figured it out on my own. The ladies are awesome at this UPS. I will no longer go to this store. I had a box to return that clearly they couldn't help me but we could have moved on the box that I needed to ship to my family member. Worst treatment ever. read more

This is literally the worst UPS store. I waited in line with a return from Amazon. It was an easy drop off. I did not need a box or packaging. The absolute horror of a woman would not do it and told me I had to go to the kiosk. I told her this was a simple drop off. She told me I had to stand in a different line to do it myself and bag it myself. There is no way this is supposed to happen. She went back behind the counter, where she had nobody and stood and watched several of us stand in line to use the kiosk. I am reporting this location to Amazon and to UPS head office. I normally specifically avoid this location and drive across town if necessary, but a temporary lapse of judgment resulted in attempting to patronize this location. By far, the rudest and least helpful employees I've encountered. Tried to incorporate a surcharge to remove tape to scan a label provided by UPS. Offered to happily print out a new label for a charge. How about you simply execute the shipping instructions provided by UPS vs. trying to take advantage of people? I know these are franchised locations and the owner obviously could care less as UPS stores print money at the moment. If you want a trouble free shipping experience, go elsewhere. I have stopped using this location as a place to send print projects to, instead I use them as a drop-off location for pre-paid shipping items. A damn moron behind the counter. Asked for a box to ship 3 pair of shoes. The worker gets the measurements and then grabs the box. The box is 7 inches higher than what's needed. Then proceeds to talk about he's going to pack it and cut down the box and add extra paper so it doesn't move around. Shipping is a low skill job. But yet you are underachieving in your job by a long shot. Just a complete waste. Took my items and left didn't ship somewhere else if you can. read more

Run away! Came in to ship an item I sold online. Girl quoted $20-$50 for shipping, and $14 for them to package. I added insurance which increased the cost significantly. Once I paid, and they started packaging another lady came out and said she needed to cancel, and redo my order. She said in order to use the proper amount of bubble wrap, she needed a bigger box which would increase my price, (I paid a little over $100 with insurance). She wanted to now charge me $150 without the insurance for the new box size. As nice as they were, I could not justify the cost of paying almost $200 for shipping. I decided to package it myself and bought the items, as I stood in the middle at the counter packaging, a line started forming behind me. It was obvious I wasn't in line, but actively packaging my item. This was my final straw. I took my items, and went to another store down the street. They packaged it, and I paid the original price I paid at the UPS store, before UPS store tried saying I needed to pay more. The item is arriving sooner than the UPS store quoted, and it's being shipped with UPS. * at the store down the street my item was packaged expertly. I paid them to package my item for me, and watched as they did it. I paid the same as the original price I was charged from the UPS store. To be charged one price then told to pay double is ridiculous. There was no justification for the price increase after I already paid. read more

Staff are not friendly or very personable. They don not acknowledge you and are gruff. They seem to be bothered by having to help you even though they speak to you nicely (almost condescending). They charge you per box for Amazon returns now ($1.00 per box). If you can go to another location, that would be highly recommended! These folks are so inflexible, rigid and impersonal I only have been using them for convenience. But I heard there is another store now near Raley's One on Blue Oaks, and it seems to be getting good reviews. Just this week I went there and the line was out the door (literally) and only one person working for all tasks (photos, prints, packages, etc.) They seem to always be understaffed without a care for service to the customer. I'm concerned about the security of the outgoing usps bins that they keep in the lobby, as well as the incoming customer's packages that are piled against the wall, where customers stand in line. The usps bins don't seem secure from theft to me. There are cameras everywhere to be sure, but we all know it doesn't mean much after your packages are swiped. It would be great to see everything secured better, since most customer are using this store as a way to avoid doorstep package theft and such. read more

Quick trip! This UPS Store is located right next to the road off Foothill Blvd. I've been here a few times and if there isn't a line, my trips are quick & easy. It's super clean and organized, so everything is easy to find. I came in this particular day to mail gifts to my loved ones up north. I went in thinking I needed to get a small box and stuffing and Rachel advised me that a big white envelope would do the trick. They are bubbled to help protect from being tossed around. We picked out the right size and stuffed it. She measured it after we stuffed it. Weighed it and at a decent price, sealed it, put the label on it and it was finished! In minutes! I loved that they carried sentimental cards in their store because I forgot to put a note in my package and a cute card that says hello, I've missed you was the perfect touch! Since it was not busy at the moment, Rachel & I got to talking about why I was sending my package and the backstory to it.. we laughed and she made sending off my gifts feel at ease. I felt good about my transaction at the UPS Store and would rather come here from now on than go to the one next to my house. It arrived on time and my loved ones were so happy! read more

I've been going to this location for years. Generally it's not bad, some staff are helpful, some aren't, however, whoever owns this place needs a refreshment course on management. It's consistently understaffed and lines are frequently out the doors. Not even during the holidays. In general I'd say 3.5 stars, however, I came here recently for passport photos and they were rejected because of shadows. When I came back for a refund I was told I had to have a letter stating they were rejected, which is like impossible from a government organization and stupid ask so I was just out $32. LAME. Staff is extremely unhelpful. I just needed to print a UPS label. Their computer took well over five minutes to load and then wouldn't print to their printers. Staff did everything they could to pretend they didn't see the problem. After telling them the computer wasn't working the response was "I dont understand, it is on isnt it?" Their unacceptable and willfully flippant attitude about their dated and non-functioning systems was terrible. Their suggested solution was to lie to me and say they had to charge me $6 to print one page label if they helped me out and printed it themselves, despite their system being the cause of the problem. I suggest you ship and spend at the other UPS location. I'll be bringing my personal and business servies elsewhere. They also spent their time talking about personal medical information about other employees not present at the time and all in front of customers. HR would and should have a field day with these people! They have time to be gossiping about unprofessional confidentual medical information in detail, but no time to help customers. read more

So I was in Roseville and needed to drop off a package for my husband. Yelp told me this location was the closest in the area. BUT, I was pretty scared by all the negative reviews. It made me hesitate about going to this location, but I figured I'd check it out for myself. The female employee at the UPS Store was very helpful and friendly. The item I was mailing was some kind of access card, which is roughly the size of a credit card. The employee was concerned that people might feel the envelope and mistake the access card for a credit card and be tempted to open the package and steal it. She made a really good point and I was very grateful that she would have that foresight to consider that. I thought, hm, should I find another envelope to put the card in first? But before I could say anything, the nice employee pulled a greeting card off the rack and said I could put the access card inside the greeting card, then put the greeting card inside the envelope, and then put the envelope inside the UPS cardboard envelope. That way you couldn't feel the access card by itself, thus wielding off potential thieves. And it was a cute card too. I think it was a little puppy holding an American flag. :) She didn't charge me for the card and just treated me with wonderful customer service the entire visit. I was impressed. Went a few days later and also had a good experience, though I had to wait a few minutes due to the lines. But all in all, a very positive impression. So don't be scared by the negative Yelp reviews. :) read more

I've been shipping items (including Amazon returns) for the last few years with this store without a single issue...BUT TODAY...the young cashier with dark hair barks out in a pissed out tone, "you're gonna need an envelope for this since you have a shipping label", and that's gonna be 4 dollars plus tax"....oh and since this has a shipping label this one too!". I printed out the scanning barcode on a single piece of paper and both label and barcode were combined- Amazons directions state no packaging is needed, just the barcode! Her body language was so negative and disrespectful, much like the impatient words coming out of her black mask! I explained my printer combined both label And barcode & 2 envelopes aren't necessary- she didn't want to listen throwing the packing slip at me and quoting $60 (absurd !!!) To ship another 12 ounce part back East. They closed at 6:30 and my transaction with smart %*%} was complete at 6:30! I will never ship nor shop at Foothill UPS store ever again! read more

I am a customer for life! I value good customer service and timely efficiency. About a week ago I brought in a box that I had cut off the top. I needed a new box. I called first and asked if I should bring in scissors and tape. They said no. I figured this project was going to take 30 minutes. I walked in, and told the lady I needed a new box. She looked at it, set up a new box, taped it, typed the label, & I just wrote the return number on 3 sides of the box. She handed me my tracking slip, and also got me a small bubble envelope, ALL IN 5 MINUTES! I was amazed. Good customer service is so rare nowadays that when something good happens it is shocking! I come here often because like most, it's the closest ups. I do a lot off Amazon shopping but I also have many returns. I'm usually organized to make everyone's life easier but there's the redhead lady who works there who is soo mean. She always has a mean look when you walk in and one time she actually yelled at me. I wasn't rude back because I was in so much shock but I was really angry. It ruined my night. She yelled because I was trying to show her the barcode to scan from my phone from Amazon and she yelled at me for not bringing it closer to her. That was really upsetting. I almost wanted to cry. Her bad day became my bad day. I hope she finds a job that makes her happy because this one definitely does not make her happy, it really shows and customers feel uneasy. read more
