Then, just a few months (not even years) later, it started coming really loose on one side. When I called them, they said it was because the fender was bent so they couldn't securely attach it. Why didn't they think to tell me that initially, when it mattered? I tried to get my money back, including filing a dispute on my credit card, but they won't budge. I don't know what it is with this location. 20 years ago, I used Unique in Salt Lake Valley and they took excellent care of me. Whenever we need work done at this SS location, they charge us up the yin-yang and for some reason, it always takes 50-100% longer than the time they quote us. Due to this, we will never use them again. It's sad because we like to support our local businesses, and we've had a great experience with Enterprise next door - no complaints - but I can't support this one.

I brought my car in after a minor accident to repair a few scratches. My insurance issued payment the first day they had my vehicle. Despite this, they claimed they hadn't received the check and delayed starting work for two weeks -- even though my insurance agent confirmed it had been cashed just days after it was sent. After finally beginning the repair, it took another two weeks to complete what should have been a simple job. A full month later, with virtually no communication, my car was finally ready for pickup. When we arrived, an employee discreetly attempted to charge the battery before handing the car over. What they failed to disclose was that they had completely drained it. The car drove home, but the next day it would not start and displayed a major system warning -- issues that never existed prior to bringing it in. I reached out multiple times with photos and received no response. However, they had no problem repeatedly texting me asking for a review. To make matters worse, my car now has scratches that were not there before, my personal air freshener was thrown away and replaced with a cheap promotional one, and the interior was returned dirty. It's also concerning that while their Google rating appears high, their Yelp rating sits around three stars. Given my experience -- and even a local AutoZone employee mentioning that customers frequently come in after issues with this shop -- it makes you question the consistency of those positive reviews. Between the dishonesty, lack of communication, and refusal to take accountability, this was an incredibly frustrating experience. I would not recommend this business.

After 5 days of your car sitting... They submit an initial estimate to your insurance, then wait for approval. After that, they finally bring your car in and start tearing it down -- in my case, about a week after I had already dropped it off. Even more frustrating, they still didn't have a clear or final estimate after all that time. So your car just sits there while you're left in the dark about what's actually happening, what it's going to cost, or how long it will take. There is a serious lack of transparency and communication throughout the entire process. If you value your time and want clear expectations, I would strongly recommend going somewhere else.
