The process is incredibly frustrating and poorly communicated. You drop off your car thinking they are about to begin, but that's not actually what happens. After 5 days of your car sitting... They submit an initial estimate to your insurance, then wait for approval. After that, they finally bring your car in and start tearing it down -- in my case, about a week after I had already dropped it off. Even more frustrating, they still didn't have a clear or final estimate after all that time. So your car just sits there while you're left in the dark about what's actually happening, what it's going to cost, or how long it will take. There is a serious lack of transparency and communication throughout the entire process. If you value your time and want clear expectations, I would strongly recommend going somewhere else. read more

Scott and Lacy at this location helped me so much. I had two vehicles come to this location and they did outstanding work with both of them. I also have custom paint vehicles nearly every time and they get my paint perfect every single time I would trust them with seriously anything these guys can handle some pretty intricate vehicles. This shop screwed up my backup sensor while doing body work. Then I was told their records indicated there was no backup sensor. They said I would need to take it to the dealership and if they could prove I had a backup sensor and cascade damaged it they would pay for it. The manager actually said this to me with a straight face. Beware of their dishonesty. read more

This is my go-to auto body repair shop. I've come here twice for big accident repairs over the years and was always pleased with their honesty and reliability. In both cases, they made a very frustrating situation much more bearable because of their service, especially Josh! I recently bought a used car whose bumper is in need of repair. I further damaged it by pulling up too close to a concrete curb, breaking off a couple more of the internal clips that hold it in place. I limped my car straight to Cascade and asked if someone could spare a minute to just take a look and give me a quick estimate. The gal at the front desk looked at it within minutes and said that it wasn't fixable, but would need to be replaced. When I told her that I wasn't willing to pay that much for a repair in this car, she offered to have it glued in place- only a temporary fix, but what I needed. They charged for the estimate after we signed a form to do the estimate. Deceptive, arrogant, dishonest, sneaky, rude, overpriced. We paid for the estimate but in the end we still saved 1300.00 by going somewhere else. read more

These people are the best! Service was incredible. All employees were absolutely professional and delivered the service faster than anticipated. I went there looking to get an estimate on removing/replacing headlights for my pickup and they did it right there. This doesn't mean they can do work on the spot all the time, but if I ever need repair for an auto, I'm going here first. read more

I picked up our van from Cascade last week - the third time we've used these guys. The bar might just be really really low these days, but I've always been impressed by how they stick to their estimates and turn times. Please DO NOT have your car fixed there (Orem Location)! After I picked up my car, there were scratches everywhere on the body of my car for the second time. We were trying to pick up our car, but we found scratches everywhere on the body of my car. Ms. Lacy said she will have her team fix all the scratches, some areas may need to be re-paint. But she will set it for me. Yes, the scratches seem gone when I picked it up the 2nd time. But after a car wash, all the scratches show up again, and even more. My husband saw them use the dry rag, trying to hurry up to clean up and removed the dust from the outside of the car. That's created most of the scratches. And their staff told us, they don't have any formal training. So, they use the customer's car as an experiment. Besides the scratches, I found out my driver-side auto seat adjustment not working, and the coolant liquid is very low. There may be more damage that I don't know until I turn into my dealership to check. If I were you, have an expensive car, do not send it to them. It is very expensive to fix the scratches read more

Bear River suggested Cascade. The work was done in the time they anticipated. When we drove the car away we experienced a dramatic alignment issue. They promptly and professionally addressed the issue and all is now finished and as good as new. read more

I'm not one to leave reviews but after having to use 3 different collision companies I realize how lucky I am that Cascade was one of them. They kept me informed every step of the way, the front desk was super helpful and knowledgeable, my car was taken care of quickly, and I didn't experience any issues with the repairs after. They were also great in helping me out with insurance. These were problems I experienced at other collision companies in the area. From now on, I will only use Cascade- even if they aren't a top choice of my insurance. I've learned my lesson. read more

BEWARE!!! Cascade is a wolf in sheep's clothing!! We went to Cascade on recommendation from a friend who is also friends with the owner. We told Cascade that we only wanted an estimate on what it would take to fix. The accident was not our fault so the other person's insurance (Progressive) took care of the estimate. Progressive determined that the cost of repairs was too high so they did not want to repair it. They just wanted to pay us for it. We decided to keep the car. When we went to pick up our vehicle we discovered that it was already taken apart. Cascade also informed us at this point that if we wanted the car put back together, we would have to pay for that because Progressive would not. I had him take me through the process to figure out the cost for just putting the car back together. During this time, I was shown many parts that had been broken during removal. I was told that I would have to pay for new ones when they put it back together. When I questioned why I would be paying for parts they broke, I was told, "That's just a standard part of the process." In addition, no matter what, I would have to get a partial repair done on the vehicle for them to reassemble it. At this point I realized that just to get my car back into a working condition, I would have to pay them for at least some of the repairs and for reassembling it. All of this because they took it apart for their estimate without my permission. We only authorized it for repairs; that's it. They conveniently jumped the gun. So at this point, anyway you look at it, Cascade is going to make money. And if I want to drive my car home safely I have to pay them for it. The following day I contacted Progressive to try and see if I could find some other solution. Because since the accident and up to this point, I had been driving my car for a month and a half. Almost all the damage was cosmetic except for the headlight. The car was very very well taken care of; it ran like it was new before the accident, and I just wanted it put back together. I asked Progressive if it was just part of the process that if parts were damaged during removal, that the customer had to paid for that. They said I don't think so and that they would check into it. An hour or so later, I stopped by Cascade to figure out actual costs. And I was met with an unhappy manager named Clayton Christensen. He seemed upset so I decided to record the conversation with my phone. During our conversation he said, "I'm not going to fix your car." "You threw us under the bus with Progressive about the broken parts so I'm not going to fix your car." "You've got two days to pick up your vehicle or have Progressive do it. After that I will start charging you for storage." So with no other options, I had to drive my vehicle home that had no headlights, no bumper, no fenders, no handles on the door, was missing part of the air intake for the engine, and no side mirror on the driver side. I drove it home illegally and unsafe. After calling around and doing some research, I found out that they could have done the estimate without taking apart the car. Also there were a lot of things that weren't even damaged that were taken off unnecessarily. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the door but it was missing just about everything on it, inside and out. So be careful. You might just be paying for work you don't need. And if the insurance takes a closer look, Cascade might just get angry and throw you out on the street like they did to my family. I will admit their facility was very clean, very comfortable with free drinks, chapstick; the works. And they were very nice and easy to work with in the beginning when they had a new customer. Now we have more problems than we started out with. So be careful and watch them. Just because they look good and are nice in the beginning doesn't mean they really care or are being honest. read more

Way more professional than any other automotive shop I've been to. They were clean, intelligence, and respectful. If i ever need body work done on any of my vehicles, I'll be coming back here. They were very transparent about what needed to be done and how I could save money. They told me that there wasn't any structural damage to my bumper so I was able to save 500 bucks off my bill. They easily could've replaced the whole thing and charged me for it and I wouldn't have known it didn't need it. They cleaned my car, shined my tires, and vacuumed the interior. It's not often I leave a place like this without feeling like I was taken advantage of, but I didn't feel like that at all here. read more

I will never do business with Cascade again. This is the third time I've taken one of my vehicles to Cascade, and they make the process quick and easy, which is great. They also do a good job on the body repair work. However, 2 of 3 times, they caused additional damage to the vehicle. The first time, I brought it back, and they fixed what they damaged. The 2nd time (completely unrelated to the 1st incident), even though I pointed out the damage to the adjuster when I went to pick up the vehicle after it had been repaired, Cascade refused to admit fault and pay to fix what they had done. I won't use them ever again and am initiating legal action against them. It's too bad, because I have enjoyed my experience overall with Cascade, but if you're going to break something, I expect you to take responsibility and fix it. read more

Brought my car in for an estimate, insurance didn't total it but the repair amount pays off my loan. So I didn't want it fixed. They had my door ripped apart took the bumper off and gave me an over $500 bill for having my car there for 3 days. I'm not opposed in any way for paying for people's time, but over $500 to take off a bumper(my insurance company did the estimate) and take my door apart, and leave it apart (which wasn't damaged,they were checking for damage) and take out 1 tail light seems absolutely criminal. Seems like they do good work, I would just be very clear what these guys will charge you(in writing!) before you give your car to them. In the shop face to face I was told 200(after they had looked at it), the next day I get a call saying its gonna be 500. Nothing changed in that day, nothing was fixed, just that they found out they weren't going to be fixing my car seems to be justification to charge me over 150% more. Update, just got my car fixed from another shop for $2,100. These guys were trying to charge me over $6,000. Definitely a bunch of scam artists. read more

I got into a minor accident. An adjuster came to my home and did an estimate well below the value of my car, so we decided to get into to a shop of their suggestion closest to us. WOW, BIG MISTAKE. THEY OVER BID TO TRY AND KEEP OUR CAR SO THEY COULD RESELL IT. It took us about a half a day to get our car back and everything was thrown inside with no regard at all. We are actually finding damage they did to our car's stereo system when they but our amp back in. It was a side front end collision. No interior damage and no reason to pull the amp from under the drivers seat. Whoever put it back crossed some of the wires and now we have to rewire the car. We drove our car off the lot 12 years ago and have put some decent time and money into over the years and that is the way they treat their customers.One of the employee's was actually telling us about a deal that he did just like ours where they turned a huge profit. Needless to say $750 in parts later minus the rewire the car is up and running perfectly. read more
