What made the experience even worse was the lack of customer service. They made no effort to accommodate us by bringing a vehicle to their location or offering any meaningful assistance. When we asked to speak with a manager to discuss the situation, they simply hung up on us. Reserving a vehicle months in advance should provide some confidence that it will actually be available. The combination of failing to honor our reservation, refusing to help resolve the issue, and the unprofessional way we were treated made this a very frustrating experience. Only owning only one car we rented a car to have his girlfriend drive him back and forth. My wife reserved a car for 8 days, and she told the person taking the reservation she wanted the car covered with the insurance. On our way to Florida, we stop to have them pick up the car. When my wife went in to complete the paperwork, in doing this she was informed she only paid for liability insurance. She said why would you every quote a person liability insurance. We need full coverage; The man said it will cost you around 200.00 to do that. Being on our way to Florida we had no choice but to pay the price.

To which the employee called someone (I believe at Budget) to coordinate another truck. She wanted me to drive 30 minutes and pick up at another location (no charge on the extra miles). I obviously declined, but very disappointing as I had a day planned with individuals helping. The way I see it, it would have been 1 hour round trip to pick up the truck and an additional hour returning the truck. I purposely rented the truck 5 min from my house for convenience and time. I think this is incredibly poor customer service.

The day after Thanksgiving I had a breakdown in my 379, and managed to get it in here. The CAT tech was off, and no one in the shop was familiar with the older mechanical CAT motors. They ended having one of the shop helpers from the wash bay call his CAT tech friend to help diagnose the problems with the motor over the phone. I don't know who they got him to call, but I want to buy that man a beer! Based off the phone diagnosis, Peterbilt of Cincinnati was able to get me back on the road. That's not where their commitment to service stops... The service manager called me the next day to make sure I wasn't having any issues, and the truck was driving alright. Then called me in a week to make sure I made it home safely and to make sure the truck was holding up well. These guys are incredible!
