On a hot day my car door window unexpectedly " exploded "and because of a "Snafu" and miscommunication, it wasn't covered by insurance. I called around pricing window repairs, most places either didn't answer their phones, Did answer, but put me into an automated que that insisted I do everything on the " website "then said, 'thank you ' and hung up. HOW REFRESHING it was to call, get a Very polite, professional, and empathetic person on the other end of the phone! She was helpful, and sympathetic to my situation. She scheduled my car for repair, explained 'everything' to my satisfaction, and left me feeling comfortable. The day of my appointment, the two gentlemen arrived, right on time, and were courteous, and not afraid of my dog, a plus, for they didn't scare her.They even asked to give her a treat. ( of course she liked THAT). They cleaned after themselves, and the poor guys even got caught in the rain, and didn't complain, smiling all the time. They made me feel glad I hired this company, rather than making me feel badly for things I couldn't control ( weather, and yes it's happened to me) When I called to pay my bill, Again, I was met with the most personable, polite woman on the phone. We called the dealer for a replacement windshield for our Subaru and they told us to contact these guys. They said they did all the glass for the dealership and they said they were great. They were exactly right. These guys are THE BEST! Our windshield was shattered and dented by debris while driving on I-80 and we needed it repaired before we could continue our trip. They came to our hotel, they were able to get a replacement the same day. They cleaned up all the glass scattered inside the car and replaced the windshield very quickly and professionally. The price was also very fair. I highly recommend them. As they were fixing our glass a lady drove by in a car and asked if they also did glass for tables. I got a crack in my windshield while traveling to Hazleton near the end of the workday, and Pensock took me in and had it fixed within ten minutes. They also charged me less than half of what Safelite quoted me ($50 vs. $120). While at the stop, I was told that they will also travel to repair and replace windshields for free within their service area. Highly recommended! read more
