I feel so lucky to have stumbled upon Head Over Heels when looking for a dress. As soon as we walked in to their adorable little shop, I knew I would find my dress. We then met Christina and her mom and Aunt who all work together to own the shop, and instantly fell in love with them. We all didn't want to leave at the end of our appointment! Christina, Linda & Diane were SO patient with us, offered honest advice, and you could tell they genuinely enjoyed what they were doing. We spent a lot of time at the shop, found excuses to go back for dress fittings (they also work with an incredible tailor named Olga), and my husband even had a suit custom made from a vendor they work closely with. I even asked Christina to help plan my wedding and she served as my on site wedding coordinator. Honestly, my wedding would NOT have been what it was without Christina's help. They all go above and beyond in everything they do. If you are anywhere near Cape Cod and are looking for a wedding dress (or wedding planning services) you must visit HOH. But what really sets Fatima apart is her talent with alterations. She is meticulous, detail-oriented, and a true perfectionist--exactly what you want in a seamstress! I purchased my Mother of the Bride dress from Fatima. The dress was gorgeous but uncomfortable, scratchy, and didn't fit well. I almost passed it up, but Fatima assured me she could transform it...and she absolutely did! Thanks to her, it fit beautifully, was comfortable all night, and I felt fabulous at my daughter's wedding. We also brought my daughter's ball gown wedding dress to Fatima for alterations, and thank goodness we did. She worked wonders--adjusting the hoop, adding extra bling, tailoring the bodice, shortening the hem, and even creating a stunning 6-button bustle. She went above and beyond, and her prices were more reasonable than the shop where the gown was purchased! Fatima has been sewing since she was 16, starting with men's suits, and her decades of experience truly show. While we were in her shop, we even saw her fix a dress that another seamstress had ruined; Fatima is a miracle worker! i came here to get my wedding dress altered and as soon as i arrived i already had a bad feeling…read moreabout it. the woman that helped me was super rude and judgmental and made my experience awful. she literally asked me "you didn't want anything prettier?" when i put my dress on which i felt was so rude and unnecessary. i didn't ask for commentary. the entire appointment she kept making judgmental and snarky comments about my dress and even insisted on showing me "real bridal dresses" from her shop after i told her that i had already brought my dress and clearly expressed being uncomfortable. i would never recommend this place to anyone. go somewhere else.

I am born and raised here on the South Shore and I do not know of any reputable bridal boutiques that carry a bridal gown for $500. That certainly would not have been my starting point. I visited the Bridal and Prom Discount Warehouse during my search for the perfect dress and I am really glad that I did. I didn't find my dress here but my experience was one of the best I had bridal gown shopping. All of the gowns here are under $500 and their selection is quite extensive. My group and I spent a good amount of time perusing the rows upon rows of styles in my size range. The two young ladies working that day collected everything we pulled and let us take as much time as we desired picking things out. I really wish I knew their names but the two employees working that day were wonderful. It was like I had two extra girls in my entourage. They were helpful and honest and I really appreciated that. It is irritating to a point to have a consultant simply tell you how gorgeous you look in every dress. These ladies on the other hand were able to read my enthusiasm (or lack thereof) for the gowns I tried on and were able to point out things that worked for my body and those that did not. These girls were genuine and real and their authenticity was well-received with my group. I do wish that I had found my dress here because I would have LOVED to pay under $500 but alas, it was not meant to be. I absolutely recommend checking this place out. You might get lucky and fall in love with something! The dresses were in good condition, some minor defaults here and there that could be corrected during fittings and alterations. We make our way downstairs with the help of an associate here names Allison. They have a decent amount of dresses all sizes and styles , but since it's a discount store you can find stains and missing beads and stuff but a lot of the dresses are super cute it's just being able to find your style and size. They have 3 racks with more new style fashion , and the other 3 racks were for a bit older fashion. OH and they also have 2 smaller racks of short prim dresses , I'm sorry we were looking at longer prim dresses. The prices are super cheap, I saw dresses from 49.00-200.00. All the dresses my sister looked at were under 100.00, she didn't get anything here because she's still looking around but the one she did like was too small unfortunately. Allison was amazing she helped us as much as possible even with others being in the store as well. This place is super clean , and there's enough space to move around , the racks are packed and the dresses weigh a lot so your arm will hurt HAH! We made our way upstairs my mother insisted I start looking at wedding dresses , I am engaged but this woman is pushing for us to set a date can't you tell HAH, so go make my mother happy I looked at alllllllll the racks in my sizes , so many beautiful dresses , I was in AWE , once again Allison helped me set me and helped me with all my dresses, the one I liked had a terrible rip in the back but she said she would discount it like I said in the beginning it's a discount store so you will find flaws, but it's so worth the trip to check it out. Alexandras boutique owns this place as well and they're down the street. Any-who this place has a 5 lot parking spot it's super tight but it beats having to pay the meters. It's a small house /boutique which is so cute. My only complaint was the parking situation we have a mid-size truck so just a small area to maneuver in the parking lot. This place is great though. Also this place is right off a busy road so it's one car in and one car out at a time , which you block the whole road.
