Cheap beer, stale smell, pool table, dodge board, bathrooms of which door can't be locked, soccer tables. WHat else would you ask for?

We were able to park close by and get in before the big crowd. Barley seems like a happening place. An upscale Irish Pub, for sure! The set up is a bar with a decent amount of restaurant booth seating. Of course, there were tables of different sizes available, as well. We were given a 10 minute wait after meeting with the Hostess. There was alot of activity around the bar and lots of drinks coming out of the bar well....always a good sign! When our time was up, we were quickly escorted to our table. We were each given a menu and a drink menu. Lots to choose from on both menus (see the pic below) I ordered the chicken sandwich with caramelized onions and my son ordered a Chicken Pot Pie. He had a beer and we both had water with a lemon. The food came rather quickly. I was immediately taken back when the caramelized onion was not on my sandwich. I was going to ask the waittress to fix it but it was far to busy and it was not a big deal. Of course, I would have enjoyed the onion but "no big deal". My son's Chicken Pot Pie was a good size and was thrilled with it. We both ate everything on our plates. Our waitress checked in with us a few times to refill, which was nice and came to take the plates away after we were finished. We did not get any dessert. To be honest, we did not see a lot of dessert plates coming to other tables, either. We were thinking maybe people leave to get ice cream at one of the nearby establishments. 5-Stars Price: Fair Parking: plenty near by Vibe: perfect...I would like to watch a game, someday, at the bar Pepsi/Coke: Coke Would I come again? Sure...we enjoyed ourselves and the food and service was excellent

Everything our party of four ordered was a disappointment, starting with an ice-tea cocktail that was undrinkable-- our nice waitress took it off the bill. My grilled salmon on a bed of rice arrived as dry as the Sahara, surrounded by burnt roasted carrots -- at least I think that's what they were. My husband's steak he ordered medium rare was also way overdone, served a block of with cold mashed potatoes. The overly sweet Apple Pumpkin Bisque (for $9) went uneaten after each of us tried a spoonful -- it was more like a bowl of pie filling than soup. Even the dessert, bread pudding with some whipped cream, was gloppy and unappetizing. This is a great place to go if you are fasting.

Our Mother's Day late lunch at Tandy's Pub & Grille was unforgettable and I am so grateful we wandered in. The chicken & lemongrass dumplings were genuinely one of the best appetizers I have ever had in my life - perfectly balanced, deeply flavorful, comforting and bright all at once. Every bite felt intentional. The rest of the meal was equally flawless. My Chicken Caprese sandwich and my husband's Club sandwich were excellent, but the dumpling appetizer just stole the show for me. My mouth waters writing this and remembering! We sat outside on the patio on a beautiful spring Sunday, listening to the nearby fountain and the happy sounds of families celebrating together. It was the kind of atmosphere that reminds you how special simple moments can be when everything comes together just right. What truly elevated the experience from excellent to exceptional was the service. Greg (and another gentleman whose name I did not catch) made us feel genuinely cared for and welcomed from start to finish - warm, attentive, welcoming, and effortlessly professional without ever feeling intrusive. Hospitality like that is rare. Perfect food. Perfect atmosphere. Perfect service. I'm already looking forward to our next visit where I will immediately order those incredible dumplings again!

I decided to go with the Korean bibimbap. Unfortunately, it didn't quite hit the mark. I usually love bibimbap, but this version was extremely greasy and lacked the spice and bold flavor I was expecting. The gochujang sauce was pretty bland, and even after asking for more, it didn't make much of a difference. The rice had the crispy bottom you want in a bibimbap, but it still lacked that punch of flavor that makes the dish so satisfying. Overall, it felt like a very tamed-down version of bibimbap. The concept and menu are interesting, but this particular dish left me wanting more. Service was friendly but slow. I would still go back to the is place and give it another try.

I do want to say that the food was delicious, flavorful and fresh. Unfortunately, the service from our waitress, Avery, was really disappointing. After our food was dropped off, we asked for sour cream, which we never received. We also needed refills on our drinks, but Avery never came back to check on us. We sat there with empty drinks, and it wasn't until the check arrived that we were attended to. It's unfortunate because the food was excellent, but the lack of service really took away from the overall experience.

They only have the bar area open during late night -which is totally understandable. We were thrilled that they were offering a full menu! The one in Keene doesn't after 10. That being said- We did not like the fajitas. They were not spiced the way we expected fajitas to be spiced. They weren't terrible - Just not what we wanted. Other people in the restaurant were talking earnestly about how much they liked the food... so maybe it was just us... It sounded like we were surrounded by their regular crowd. They had some great beer selections on tap and I happily tried the local favorite Concord Craft Brewings Safe Spaces IPA. So good. The cocktail list also looked quite good. Our waitress was holding court in the way late night pub (Cantina?) waitresses do and she did a great job. We never waited long for anything and she clearly kept a light happy mood for the regulars. Though we couldn't eat in the cells, no one stopped us from going to look at them. So that was fun. No ghosts were seen. Maybe next time.

What I am sure of, though, is that "Billiard & Bar" are excellent words to describe this place. Tryna escape your depressing 9 to 5 and go shoot some pool? Boom, 8 pool tables (All green) Tryna escape your depressing 9 to 5 even more and drink some alcoholic beverages to hide the pain of your sad sorry life? Boom, full bar (Not all green) There's even a few things in here that aren't even mentioned in the name. For example, there are two brand new arcade basketball games that look so cool and fun! If you're not a paraplegic, you'll probably get a kick out of these. And speaking of paraplegics, my Great Uncle fought in WW2 and lost every single one of his 5 limbs. He probably wouldn't enjoy these arcade basketball games any more than he does his life. So if you aren't my Great Uncle, then you gotta try them. Now if you're looking to escape your sad boring life through means other than liquor and beer, well you're in luck! This place comes fully equipped with one of those arcade punching bag games that rate how hard you hit it. And what better way to get all your anger and frustrations of your boring everyday life out than to punch something as hard as humanly possible. And the best part is, there's no legal consequences because it's not a person! This place should be called: "Erm, Billiard Bar Arcade Escape! (Anger issues welcome, Great Uncles not)" Will definitely be coming back here since I do have all my limbs! (Sorry Great Uncle Ronnie)
