    Beet Pickled Deviled Eggs

My sister and I have recently been intrigued by speakeasy type cocktail bars, so I decided to tryout 815 since Jane was visiting. Located in the heart of the city near other places of businesses with street and lot parking available. No password or anything special needed to gain access to the bar. We avoided the tall flight of stairs by using the elevator which brought us right to the door. We were greeted by a friendly bartender who invited us in. We were able to choose where to sit. We chose a high table near the window overlooking Elm Street. There are more high tables and low tables of various sizes and two areas with sofa seating for 4-6 people each. There is also a large bar to sit at, as well. Very nice ambience with lots to admire. For cocktails, I had the Lumbersac which was very tasty. Jane had the 815 Old Fashioned which she really liked. The food menu is about half appetizers with a few entrees. We shared Beet Pickled Deviled Eggs (5 came on the plate). They were very good-not your typical deviled eggs. We also had the Charcuterie & Cheese Board which was a perfect size for the 2 of us. All of the staff are extremely friendly. Our server was attentive without being intrusive. The cocktails and the food came to us quickly and our water glasses were never empty. The bathroom was sparkling clean. I will surely return and recommend 815 without hesitation.

Very cool bar with lots of bar seating and few tables. The vibe is fun and the drinks are great. We got the white sangria and it was really good! The food is also great, the pizza being the best. Bar tender was nice and quick. I try to always stop here when I'm in town.

I love speakeasy bars. Located on a main street on the corner of a building. Pre covid, you needed a password to enter then you were lead up a staircase and a wall opened to reveal the location. Now you just walk up and in. Dark lightening, comfy couches and chairs or sit at the bar. Lots of crafted cocktails, wine, beer or go for what you know with top shelf liquors. Offering small plates. One huge dissapointed was the God awful music playing. Reason for 4/5 vs 5/5. Seemed low and instrumental but not a relaxing vibe. It was worse than elevator music and like on a reel. I honestly couldn't wait to get back in my car to hear anything but that music.

This was a fantastic experience for our first night in Manchester. The atmosphere is super relaxed, and the drinks and the service are fantastic. We felt welcome as soon as we walked in. Highly recommend for a drink or two.

Had a great time in Saturday night. First time checking this place out. It's located on a second floor (elevator if needed), very neat vibe with the most amazing cocktails and vibe. There's also a free Photo Booth for anyone who wants to take some selfies. I ordered two cocktails with friends and they were both very tasty. Definitely will go back. I also gave a shout out to the bar on mix 104.1 today! Looking forward to my next visit.

Great place to have a drink and a snack. Remodel looks great, staff is friendly, and the drinks are really good.

We loved this cocktail bar. The bar staff was knowledgeable and helpful. Be sure to check Facebook for the password. The bouncer checks your ID downstairs and then you head upstairs. There's a phone booth with a doorbell and you're admitted through a wall. The interior is well decorated, with a swanky and hipstery vibe. It doesn't feel uppity, rather it's the perfect mix of great drinks with a dark, laid back atmosphere. The bartender recommended something off menu based on my preferences, and it was awesome. We also had the flourless chocolate cake which was absurdly decadent (and needed to be split). I'll definitely come back the next time I'm in town!

I'm a bit of a cynic but the whole super secret setup is kind of fun! I've been here a couple of times-they change the cocktails all the time (their age-barreled and once it's out they make something new)-I don't always love the original creations on rotation but the drinks are solid and when in doubt they consistently make the classics well. Wait staff is relaxed, friendly and knowledgable : ) The snacks are interesting and tasty but the servings are weird (The pita and hummus came with too much hummus for the pita provided and the salmon paste came with so much paste and only a little bit of bread.) I've always had a good time here and when I'm back in the area I'm sure I'll stop in again sometime.

Amazing craft beer list! I can't remember the last time I saw a Clown Shoes porter on a beer list. The server is very knowledgeable about her beer. The atmosphere is cool. Definitely a place to bring a date. I enjoyed the Pollo Lima tacos with my Clown Shoes Snow On The Maple Tree Imperial Stout. We also enjoyed the Allagash Map 40 coffee stout. If you are a beer lover or a craft cocktail lover this is the place for you. The craft cocktail list is long... I was just too excited about the beer.

These were served with a pea and bacon risotto whose rich flavors matched the meatballs perfectly and the accompanying crisped breads balanced texture for the perfect combo. The pork belly tostadas had a great combination of toppings that gave them a fresh feel and almost made pork belly feel healthy, and the popover short rib dish was perfectly cooked and tasty. This one wasn't my dish, but I managed to snag a nibble and may be ordering it next time if they decide to add it to the regular menu. So good! The dishes were a nice size, leaving room for desert, and the fresh fruit meringue was an excellent finale. The restaurant itself is small, with a bar and just a handful of indoor tables. They had 4 more tables outside, however, which would be great on slightly cooler days. The indoor window seat we got was comfortable and the whole place had a cozy, friendly feel. Service was top notch, from a greeting as we entered to constant attention - we never really noticed our slightly small (bar style) table as all the dishes were cleared so quickly. I loved this place and will probably have to keep returning until I've tried the whole menu. I'm definitely hoping to try the outdoor tables next if weather permits.

The only critique is our pretzel bites we ordered as an appetizer came out 10 minutes after our meals. We still ate them and they were delicious. I look forward to going to eat here again.
