I was visiting my brother in Pittsboro with relatives last week (March 2026). We had some OK coffee for the coffee maker at our Airbnb, but we were jonesing for some espresso coffee. So we thought we would order one to drink there and one to microwave in the morning. I ordered two medium-sized breve lattes, (oh wait a minute, they don't do breve so they had to use whole milk), with an extra shot in each. My total was $17. My sister got the same thing. The coffee tasted like watered down milk with maybe a quarter cup of instant coffee in it. It was awful! We threw both cups out. $34 literally down the drain. The clerk was very snippy with me when I asked for breve, telling me they didn't have half-and-half or cream. She also seemed bothered that I was adding an extra shot and that I had her break down the cost for me, since the total amount was much more than the signage. If visiting Pittsboro, I suggest you go to Metal Brixx Café. Best coffee ever, and when you ask for an extra shot, each shot is a double shot. read more

Good, good good! 16 ounce iced vanilla latte. We went through the drive-through at 1:45 on Wednesday, July 30. The young lady at the drive-through window was exceptionally kind, friendly, and patient. She was a little shocked when we said we were paying with cash so I believe they mostly like for you to pay by card. But that was not a problem. We will definitely be back. I've been anticipating visiting People's Coffee since it first opened in Pittsboro. The location has an inviting vibe that makes it great to meet a friend or even for remote work. The decor is full of character with a mixture technology and wall designs. I ordered the caramel latte after receiving a recommendation from one of the baristas. I have to say that both of the baristas seemed happy and were very friendly. I enjoyed speaking to both of them during my first visit. The caramel latte was creamy, smooth and full of flavor. I've been wanting to try this place. It's super cute inside but only has three tables. They have coffee, shakes, smoothies and a few goodies. We tried a smoothie with peanut butter, ginger, banana and a few other goodies. The cost of this was $8.00. I would have liked a bit more for the price. i've eaten here/had coffee about 10 times now. the selection is good, however the coffee itself is not comparable to other coffee shops nearby. they have vegan breakfast options which is amazing, and they are decent. like most other places that offer a small selection of vegan food options, they do not offer a variety of vegan sauces. a vegan sour cream and fresh guacamole would go a long way for the vegan breakfast burrito-- a vegan mayo would be lovely for the vegan sandwich. it's extremely convenient and i think the price is good. some vegan baked goods would also be a game changer. açaí bowls are nothing to write home about. i hope this place continues to evolve-- it could become a regular breakfast spot for me if it did. i enjoy the atmosphere if you are eating in! read more

Dined in with my girlfriend today and enjoyed the drinks, food, the nice employees and atmosphere. Would have been a perfect experience if it wasn't for who I believe to be the owner of the establishment coming in absolutely talking down to a young employee for all to hear. The food here is great! They have breakfast and lunch selections, and I've never been disappointed. I've only had their lattes and haven't tried just plain coffee, but I've been pleased with my latte. The staff is friendly and the vibe is nice. They could use a few more tables, but with warm weather here, it can be nice to sit outside. I highly recommend. read more

Fairly decent coffee, but the açai bowls and sandwiches are quite expensive and usually take a long time, even if they're not very busy. We were also surprised that they don't open until 8 AM - not sure how a coffee shop can survive not opening until 8am! read more

Like the other reviewer, I've also been anxiously awaiting the opening of the Pittsboro location. It's been 6-12 months delayed, but it finally opened. I've been there three times so far and enjoyed a lot less hustle and bustle than the Durham location. I know once Mosaic takes off, this place is gonna be SLAMMED. The food is as good as the Durham location, no traffic on my way, no crowds to fight, and no waiting 30 mins for my order. If you order online, be sure it's been accepted. Ordered online twice and both times I've shown up to pick it up before they accepted it from toast. :-/ read more

Stopped at this location earlier today and purchased a milkshake and breakfast sandwich. I received the milkshake quickly, but was surprised at how small it was considering the price of $9. I waited another 15 minutes, then asked about my breakfast sandwich. The staff had no idea where my order had gone, which did not make sense since no one had come into the place. I left too frustrated to even get my money back. I won't try this place again. read more
