I have come here a few times in the past month, and my experience has been universally positive. It's a brightly lit store with a few tables. One orders online, app, or from the counter. If you order online, your smoothie will be waiting for you in a cubby near the back of the store. They host an array of smoothies-- and they are BIG. I can easily share one with my partner and feel satisfied. I wish they offered more 12-oz options than just the kid ones, but I still love the choices they have. Bahama Mama is amazing, but I've also enjoyed some of the mango and other options. Island Green is the healthiest-- lowest in sugar and high fiber-- good if you're feeling... "stopped up"... for sure. If you use the app, you can also adjust the sweetness easily too to 50% sugar, which for me is plenty. There are also sometimes online-only options, like a pina colada one that was outstanding. And there are regular both online and store specials-- they had a special for a free small (12-oz that time!) smoothie if you came with flip-flops earlier in the month, if you have the app. I haven't tried the food options. The staff are consistently friendly and helpful. Not related to this store, I will say the app is nice for having specials and getting you rewards. But it is BUGGY. I've deleted and reinstalled a few times even though I have a relatively new iPhone just to get it to open correctly. And I still can't get the app to work to pay in advance with Apple Pay (nor can my partner on her phone, so it's NOT just my phone). Someone in corporate definitely needs to work on that app since you need to use the app to get rewards, but again, not this store's fault. I'm not sure if it was out of sheer disappointment, or a poorly executed salad. Everything was fine. The salmon was a bit overcooked. The dressing was a little too acidic for my taste. It was mostly a spring mix with a sprinkle of toppings. Not what I expected. I'd give the salad a 3 but my memories definitely deserve a 4+. Location is inside UNC hospital, and you may have limited parking options depending on time of day. It's tucked inside a little corner. While I was there, a person was stocking.
