This place is truly amazing and such a gem for families in San Diego…read more I had the awesome opportunity to volunteer at BizTown recently with my employer. It truly is a special place for students to have the opportunity to learn about financial literacy and how to run a business. I was lucky enough to be a business volunteer rather than a chaperone for one of my children's classes, so it was really fun to work with the kids and listen to them work through their business. I really believe that this is a key component missing from most children's education and I see the lack of financial literacy impacting young people after college. Junior Achievement fills this missing piece in curriculum that isn't taught in schools. I hope you have the opportunity to send your child here or you find time to volunteer with this organization. If you are a business, look at any chance to participate with Junior Achievement. While JA programs are not unique around the country, BizTown and Finance Park are. We truly are lucky here in San Diego!

This organization does very well considering that it is a unarmed security organization there to…read moresupplement the more elite garnet policing organizations that carry weapons. They are often placed at low risk events and will direct the police at you if you appear to be causing trouble while drunk. Most event fans fail to realize that there are blocked off partitions to prevent the crowds from trampling themselves to death and yet people still die despite their best efforts. I can not blame them for the lack of bathrooms at these events. Being sub-contracted temps means that they know little about the events they are dropped in. Some of these people are even imported from out of state. Long story short: these are not cops but they will kick your ass if you are stupid enough to climb the stage or drop onto the field. At the snapdragon stadium this company straight up closed the…read moregates and left paying customers with tickets making a line under the hot sun for over 2 hrs. We missed half the game and they gave no excuses for being understaff and unprepared which is total BS since they obviously knew that the stadium was practically sold out. Worst service ever and the tickets should be refunded.
