He was here on time, with the suspected replacement parts on hand, and a great amount of empathy for my failed attempt. Steve made my washing machine run (and) drain like new, saving me about $1,600. These guys are great! Called to have my GE Profile fridge repaired. The gal on the phone got our info and asked if she could put us on standby for a visit today! You bet!! (Fridge had been on the fritz for 3 days over 4th of July weekend). Less than 2 hours (!) later, Steve is here WITH THE CORRECT PARTS!!! Installed and up and running in less than an hour. I don't understand why County Appliance would get less than five stars every time. He has always been the least expensive quote, most fair and most competent appliance repair for me since I started using him in 2014. Eventually I stopped getting other quotes because he was available the soonest, and if he didn't currently have the part he never charged his time to come back out and fix it. He has always given me a 90 day warranty on his work, which I have never had to use. He fixes everything from little clips holding up the racks in the dishwasher, to getting pennies and dimes out of my washing machine. He has resurrected my fridge from the grave, and always cleans The interior of my washer or dryer whenever he opens them up. Thanks to him I've had this same fridge for 13 years, and the same washer and dryer for 11. They all have survived three moves. I always have him install my gas dryer when I move because he's the only person I trust to do it. I have not had to call him for anything in 2 years, and now my washing machine sounds like it's going to fly to the moon so I thought I'd give him a call. And then I saw these reviews and thought to myself that I had better make the universe right by speaking up for a small business owner who works very hard, a has a big heart. Update: he was completely honest that my washer was not fixable for what it was worth. We appreciate that he didn't try and persuade us to fix it. He could have and made a lot of money. He is so honest. Fast forward a few months and said the same about our dishwasher. The fridge went out last Sunday. He showed up Monday right away and fixed it no problem. He even had the part on-hand. What an amazing service!! read more

DISAPPOINTED..I called County Appliance to REPLACE the ice maker on my 5 year old Kenmore Refrigerator. The lady told me the tech could be at my home within the hour which he was. I asked her upfront about the service call fee which she said was $84.99. I agreed but BEFORE I hung up, I asked the lady if the tech will have the ice maker part. She stated, " he should, he keeps the truck pretty stocked. " Steve showed up and after 1.25 hours stated to me, "you need an ice maker and I only located one in LA." Furthermore, without communicating to me Steve charged me an additional $51.99 TECHNICAL FEE. Steve then says, " if you want to DIY, you probably could save money and find an ice maker online." Find another appliance repair business..... Total charge was $198.88 which included water filter. MY ICE MAKER IS STILL DOES NOT WORK. read more

He was prompt, thorough and told me my options for repairing the washing machine. I appreciate that he was straight forward and not trying to oversell me. He also said he works on weekends. I can't fathom how there is a bad review for them! I called and got a call back almost immediately. A technician was out to my house in about 24 hours from the time I called. He was very clean, professional and nice. He said that he would order the parts and come back when they came on. He came back today (2 days later) with the parts. (He did tell us it could be $400-500 for the parts but we would try each of them to see if that's the problem... I know we could get a new one fairly close to that price but my husband liked the technician and decided we would rather pay them to fix it because they seemed like good people. Today he came back and found out that the parts and fixing it (since the less expensive parts weren't causing the problem) that it would be about $800 to actually fix! We obviously just bought a new on and was only charged for the house call. From the initial phone call to showing up almost early to the 2 hour timeframe and then coming as soon as the parts came in.... I just don't understand why they don't have 5 stars. I called a few places that Yelp suggested before this place and it was 2-3 weeks before they could come out and one company said "pass on it" and just refused to help. I hope this review helps to make them more visible to people looking for appliance repair. Will definitely use them again and recommend to everyone I know. Had county appliance scheduled for march 4th . technician came out he was very polite and professional and efficient. He's diagnosed the problem replaced the ice maker under warranty and cleaned up and said he was done .... I was very happy a pleased with the efficiency of this gentleman. An appointment was made to fix our regular electric Dacor oven. The temperature was not correct as set. The repair man showed up as scheduled and found the problem. He ordered the part that was needed and returned a few days later and installed the part. He only charged one service call and the oven works great! read more

Independently owned and run their scheduled appointments under their own terms and not as agreed set with Frigidaire extended service. NO CALL NO SHOW - called to complain. Office desk lady rude and failed to admit any wrongdoing and alleges that I had an attitude problem. Oh really lady? Ever heard of customer service demands satisfaction? I wasted my work day waiting on you guys and my time and money wasted. What made it worse was the repair tech, he called and also conducted in a RUDE, OFFENSIVE manner enough to make any customer furious. I didn't have a tech come out, but based on the phone service I won't be. The woman was just unwilling to try and answer my questions unless I paid them the service charge. If the person answering the phone isn't willing to try and help you, I'm not going to take my chances with another employee. Its important for me as the customer to feel comfortable with a new company and I did not get that feeling. I am happy to pay someone to come out and look at my appliance, but it won't be with this company based on my experience. read more
