It wasn't very well organized, there was no sense of community, and pray little number of vendors. And there was a good number of vendors who had their boxed up products there but their booths weren't manned or even set up at start time. Believing that they were just running on island time, I waited a good 20-30 minutes, but I ended up losing interest. I took a few laps really intent on making some purchases. I ended up getting some fruit to throw into my fridge at the hotel which always comes in clutch, but there wasn't much else that was exciting. Only drop by if you're staying at or near the Hyatt Regency, and lower any expectations that you may have of a farmers market.

I had been on a hunt for coconut apple (the spongy, sweet embryo inside a mature coconut)...I had been to another marketplace, but this was the spot where I found it. I walked stall by stall, asking the vendors. Some gave me a knowing look, and some didn't, but when I found it, I was happy and able to relive my childhood memories of eating this. Between hunting down rare local treats and scoring great deals on shirts, gear, and random finds, you easily get your dollar's worth here. Just make sure to bring cash, wear comfortable shoes, and get there early before the sun really starts beating down.

The two team members who hosted us were awesome and made us feel immediately welcome - shoutout to Dewey and Summer! We loved learning about the farm's role on the North Shore, as well as some of their forward-looking initiatives, and getting to sample the fresh produce. It also had covered eating area and musicians performing that added to the ambiance.
