I informed him that he knew he charged them double the price of anyone else in the city. He responded, "they agreed to it. He further stated it is the companies normal prices." Here's the lesson learned, don't do business with dishonest people. He had the opportunity to do something to make things right, but chose not to. I broke down in Crestview when the tread came completely off one of the rear tires on my truck. There were four of us ladies traveling together, and we were understandably a little stressed and unsure of what to do. I called Crestview Tire & Wheel Shop to see if they could help me find a tire for my truck. Although they didn't have one in stock, they went above and beyond and ordered the tire for us to be there first thing the very next morning at 7:00 a.m. That kind of service and willingness to help meant so much to us. AAA towed my truck to their shop, and while we waited for our Uber, the staff was incredibly thoughtful and kind enough to let all four of us stay inside their building. They made us feel safe, comfortable, and welcome rather than like we were inconveniencing them. From the wonderful ladies at the front desk to the gentlemen working in the back, everyone was friendly, professional, compassionate, and genuinely helpful. Getting a quote for $160 just to return the next day after service has been performed to learn that the price has now DOUBLED is foul and this tire shop has lost my business. The first time, I couldn't even make it to the next traffic light before a scraping noise started because the brake dust shield had been bent during the repair. A few days later, my front brake caliper came loose while driving, causing my vehicle to pull, grind, and scar the inside of my wheel. That's a serious safety issue that never should have happened. After another visit, my brakes still squealed, and my wheel was left unbalanced because a wheel weight was missing. Throughout all of this, communication was poor. I had to call them for updates myself, was never offered an apology for the repeated inconvenience, and even after the fourth visit, the brake squeal is still there. Mistakes happen, but repeated workmanship issues, poor communication, and a lack of accountability are unacceptable--especially when they involve your brakes. Initially, everything appeared fine when I drove the RV home. However, on our first camping trip a couple of weeks later, the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) alerted after about 20 miles on the road. All four rear dual-wheel tire pressure readings dropped out and never came back. Because this issue appeared immediately after the tire replacement, I contacted the shop. When I called, I was told by the receptionist that it was not something they had done and that I should take it to a Ford dealership. What disappointed me most was that no one offered to inspect the RV or even take a look at the problem. The response was essentially an immediate denial of responsibility. When I arrived at the campground several hours later, I discovered that five of the chrome lug nuts securing the wheel simulator cover were loose and one was completely missing. One of the nuts would just spin and could not be tightened. This is a 2025 RV, so these were not worn-out or aging components. I sent an email to the company's customer issues department describing both concerns and requesting assistance. After receiving no response, I sent a follow-up email asking whether any action was being taken. I still did not receive a response. What has been most frustrating is not simply the mechanical issues, but the lack of customer support afterward. Problems can happen at any shop. What matters is how a business responds when a customer reports a concern. In my case, I was unable to get anyone to inspect the vehicle, address the loose hardware, or provide a meaningful response to my emails. I cannot recommend this location based on my experience. Customers spending thousands of dollars on tire work should reasonably expect follow-up support when issues arise immediately afterward.
