One of the wheel sensors began to go off and we have taken the vehicle back 3 times and every time the sensor will come back. We finally took it to another shop that told us it was never changed. I visit this establishment to have battery swap, after being quoted a price , they decide to call for permission to service my need they came and gave a price of 139.00 just to swap out a battery. This happened on Super Bowl Sunday. It appears if you're a woman the service is gonna suddenly cost 5 times to quote. Alongside with what these smaller stores have the isles are much longer and larger, they have service bays here to work on many maintenance things like oil change, inspection, headlight removal and replacement, windshield wipers, batteries, tires, transmission fluid flush and many more. Parking is very adequate, even on a busy day but because of the geographical area I would recommend you take your valuables and check on your vehicle every so often. I had the luck of coming out of the store a year or two and hear of a individual that just parked his truck for a minute to go inside and get a receipt for something, when he came out guess what? Well, that can happen anywhere but here is a prime location to be a victim. The place is usually clean, uncluttered and for the most part have never experienced any unprofessionalism here. I was just out of warranty on my alignment and I did not agree with that. i took it to the dealer and the dealer checked the alignment and did not find anything wrong with the alignment. what was found was that the wheel was not properly balanced. will not recommend this location. read more

This location is GRADE A TRASH!!!! Went to get new brake pads. Waited an hr and finally asked for an update. They lost the papers with the diagnosis and had to find them. Then they tried to charge me almost double what other locations were charging. Tried to charge me for more expensive brakes and didnt tell me until I asked. Then they told me I would have to wait an additional 1.5 hrs once they actually started on it. Guy at the counter didnt even know store policies. Tried to charge me for two separate labor fees for brake pads and rotors. Do NOT I repeat DO NOT go to this location. Complete ripoff. After wasting about a good 2 hours here and not getting ALL of the requested work done on my vehicle I will never return or recommend this location or company to anyone. I came to this location because I need a oil change, tire rotation and inspection done. I was informed they don't do inspections. I was told oil change / tire rotation would take an hour to an hour and a half. Halfway through the wait they can't find my keys they were in possession with. Other customers were being helped and some motivation was their to find it but not that much. They found it in a trash bucket on the floor. As I don't trust most mechanic shops, before I went, I did a walk over check on my car , made note of the tires on the car. After the good 2 hour oil change they didn't rotate the tires but we're sure to place it on the work order as complete . Their were also other customers waiting a long time as well. read more

Everyone who worked there was friendly and appeared knowledgeable. However, on November 4, 2017, I went to this location to get an oil change. I informed them that I would be driving this car back to Chicago from Houston by myself. They changed the oil and told me they gave my car a 30 point (or 24 point) inspection and that it was okay to drive. They also checked my tires and said the tires would be okay. A few hours outside of Houston, I got a flat but the real issue I am writing about is that my check engine light went on about 30 minutes from Memphis. I was planning to rest in Memphis for a day. So I had the check engine light checked out at Performance Tire and Service in Memphis. The mechanic there told me that I had no oil filter cover and since it was close to the weekend, they had to wait until Tuesday afternoon to get the part. I incurred hotel expenses for three extra days because of this, over $200. This should have been noticed at the Pep Boys since they changed the oil and did this inspection. read more

After several excellent auto repair experiences at this Pepboys location, I would not go anywhere else to have my cars serviced. The Service Manager Donnie cares that the customers are well informed and satisfied. The service schedulers are friendly and informative. Lori at the service desk has obviously been there for a while and knows what she is doing. The mechanics give good feedback when they diagnose the problem, and will even take the customer out to their car to show them exactly what is going on.
