On Saturday, My elderly Father had a slow leak in his right rear tire on his Lexus. On Monday, I refilled his tire with air to get the car to the shop safely to have the tire patched. Upon arrival, they stated that they could not find the leak but proceeded to upsell him on a tire rotation and oil change. On Tuesday, I called the store after realizing the leak had not been repaired. On Wednesday, on my second trip to the store, they discovered the nail in the tire and repaired it. Initially, William stated that they would take care of it but then charged me for it. They had done great work for me/us previously and I had recommended them to friends and family several times. However, on this occasion, I felt as if they did not do their due diligence in finding the leak on the initial visit and attempted to take advantage of him (because he gets confused easily) during the visit. The reason for the visit was crystal clear that the tire simply needed to be patched. I expressed my frustration with William but he DID NOT SEEM TO CARE about my business or my concern. I will no longer be a patron of this business or recommend them. I highly advise you to steer clear of this business. read more

We left Foley a couple weeks after having our vehicle checked out and supposedly ready for the trip to Portland Maine. I had flown down to help my wife bring her father up to our house so she could care for him there instead of Foley. She had been there for three years. He is 90 and can't walk among other things. Well, the car staring vibrating south of Montgomery. We get to town, find the VW dealer and they find us Wes Cook. We were very concerned that we were going to be stuck waiting to get things fixed. Didn't know what was wrong. Turns out, all the tires were coming apart! These guys took over! Travis drove us to a hotel! They started searching for tires. VW dealer thought it was just the front two. Next morning they get two tires. Put on a lift. Needs four tires! We're stuck in a hotel. They get right back after it. At 1:00 PM they come to the hotel and pick us up! Us, Pops wheelchair, all our luggage, everything! That's not all. We left a bag in their car. They sent it to us immediately! Whadda ya think I'm gonna say? This business is an example of how all businesses should be run and how all of us should be as people. We were blown away! I can't say enough nice things about my experience with Wes Cooks Tire. I was out of state and seemingly had no options for a replacement tire after a blowout on the interstate. Dealerships in Montgomery and Birmingham offered no options, only said they didn't have my tire in stock and could get one in couple of days. Wes Cooks didn't have the exact tire either, BUT they called around looking for an option and called me back with a tire that "would get me home"! When you are stranded 6 hours away from home, with your child, a dog AND during a nationwide pandemic - I was SO GRATEFUL!! It meant so much that they worked to find a safe solution. I usually receive great service from this location, but they were unable to correct my tire gauge sensor issue on my GMC. The third time I returned to them, after having spent $130 on their repair attempts, they were still unable to correct my issue. Instead of being honest and telling me they didn't know what the problem was, and perhaps referring me to my dealer w/an apology and perhaps a free service in the future for my trouble, the service attendant was visibly frustrated with me and attempted to deflect my issue to under-inflated tires. In less than 10 min, they sent me on my way as if it was my fault. Within five minutes, the issue persisted. This time, I returned to the dealer, and they explained to me that I simply needed to have my sensors calibrated and initialized. The dealer solved my problem and charged me nothing. read more

Wish I could give this place 0 stars. I had to stop here because of a flat tire. The guy initially quoted me $27 then changed it to $32 because "they had to put the spare back in my trunk". I go to pull off and the truck behind me is honking to get my attention. I turn around and the mechanic is running after me with my spare tire. This is unacceptable. I own a 2009 Chevy Silverado 4x4. I get my oil changed, they put on new tires, and they have been my go to mechanic shop for issues. After being charged a $400 markup price for 2 wheel bearings I will not be here again. You can do a price match form wherever you received the part. Summit Racing provides the same wheel bearings for $148.97, the shop charged me $349.34. I have always told them it's no hurry. I provide them oil and oil filter for oil changes and I've bought my own parts before. As mechanic experts I would hope they would have advised me to wait or supply my own parts so I could get the best price. I was provided a verbal price total of $1126, however I was not printed out a breakdown estimate of parts and labor which I usually sign before they work on the truck. This was a red flag for me. I have attached the receipt I received after the labor. I did not sign anything before they worked on the truck. I proceeded because I have been satisfied and Melvin tries to answers my questions, educate me about parts and labor process. read more

They are pleasant and nice as long as everything goes well, but when you have an issue they become combative and accept no responsibility for their actions. I took my car in for a tire rotation - they have been the only ones to work on the tires of this car. When attempting to take the first tire off they totally stripped out the wheel lock socket. They explained they did not have the ability to get any of my tires off without the socket and recommended I go to the dealer for either a new socket or to have the lock nuts replaced with normal lugs. I did that and when I presented them the repair ticket, the response was "what do you expect us to do with this". I told them I expected them to do what was right as they are the ones that ruined the socket and caused me the expense. They head desk attendant said "everyone tries to make their problem our problem/fault". I told him the dealer said all the lugs nuts were overtightened - Wes Cook uses an impact wrench instead of a torque wrench to R & R the nuts. Eventually the attendant shoved $25 across the counter at me (he didn't hand it to me or say anything). He was rude and frustrated that I expected them to pay for the damage their employee caused. The $25 only covered the cost of the dealer removing the lock nuts and not the cost of the four new lug nuts. When I questioned that he said "they were too expensive and he could have provided them much cheaper". Of course that was never offered and I needed to have nuts on the car to drive it. He then said that the problem was the cheap lock nut socket the manufacturer provided with the car. I doubt LEXUS would agree with that and I will never do any sort of business with them again. read more

Quick service but very disappointed with the workmanship. I had 4 tires put on my car and there was damage to my car rims. Two of them were severely damaged. When the damage was pointed out, they denied that it was caused by them. Warning.......if you take your vehicle there for tires please do a before inspection with the manager to ensure that if they damage your property they cannot deny it. I'm sure that this has happen to other customers. If you are out there, please weigh in. I always say, what goes around comes around. read more
